I managed to pick a copy up at a very agreeable price around a week after it released. I’m in no rush… but reckon that I’ll quite enjoy it.

Nice… been waiting for confirmation on Fallout 3 remake for a while. I’ll be happy to plat New Vegas again too.

Incredible game! One of my favourite ps3 games and maybe my fave superhero game to boot. It’s frankly quite amazing the online features have been up this long tbh.

I know it’s been mentioned many times but a 4k 60 remaster of 1 and 2 would be a dream.

This one hurts. I ain’t even an fps guy really… but I love Doom 2016 and Eternal (yet to play The Dark Ages). It feels like id will never recover from this.

Happy with that… hopefully there’s some substance to that rumoured remaster/remake of Fallout 3 too.

More Lightning Returns, which I’m finding particularly stressful. The countdown clock, together with certain parts of the map, characters and quests only becoming available for specific time-windows.

It’s very different from Final Fantasy XIII parts 1 and 2 in terms of combat too, which I’m a bit disappointed about. Hoping that the story and familiar characters carry me through.

So I do have the first two games (which I’ve heard are very good) but yet to play them… and loved the anime. I’m also a fan of open-world games, so this is great news to me.

At last, I’ve been holding off on playing 2 in the hope that there was just a 12 month exclusivity period for the remastered original. Good news this!

@GirlVersusGame in all honesty I wasn’t even aware of it until your mention. I’d have played this for sure, as I’m a huge Dishonored fan and big fan of Blade in comics, animation and the movies (particularly 2). For some reason the Blade character and his powers didn’t say immersive-sim to me… and I’ll take any immersive-sim I can get 😉

@LikelySatan the sensible way no doubt. I just regret selling all my old consoles from the Megadrive onwards, so having all these Evercade carts on my shelf goes some way towards redressing the issue.

@LikelySatan yeah I do love that aspect of it when the games turn up. I’m yet to get the Turrican collection but I did love the original back on Commodore 64. After a long hiatus in buying games for it, I’ve just bought a load of the purple Arcade carts. I have a lot of catching up on the red carts at the moment.

@Mostik tbh mate, I’d kinda forgotten about it but I did notice the NeoGeo collections had been added when I first heard about the upcoming NeoGeo AES+. So I have started trying to catch up with the cartridges I’ve missed… can’t get the NeoGeo Arcade Collection 3 anywhere though.

I bought it (& a load of the early carts) more for an interesting shelf filler in the gaming room if I’m honest. I might crack it open one day though, as I have only heard good things.

Already started laying the groundwork with the missus to have a new NeoGeo AES+ for Christmas. She’s a bit hesitant as I had an Evercade VS around 4 Christmas’s ago and have never taken it out of the box… I reckon she’ll come around though.

I bought it (and the original)… still to play either. My backlog could choke a dozen donkeys…a dozen times or more (after various successful cpr attempts or uses of the Heimlich manoeuvre).

Gonna start Lightning Returns if I get the chance. I really enjoyed FFXIII and FFXIII-2 these past couple of years, so looking forward to seeing how it all rounds off.

I ain’t justifying price rises or nothing like that (no one likes paying more obvs) but day one all the same… and I’m keeping my pro (& base) too. Too many regrets about selling my old consoles as a kid/adolescent/idiot.

They’re not particularly difficult tbh… and not souls-likes neither. They’re more akin to a modern Assassins Creed game tbh… only with an extra layer (or two 😉) of quality.

Busy weekend but if I get the chance I’d like to make a start on my second playthrough of Metro 2033 Redux. Finished my Enlightenment run on Survivor last night and while it’s definitely aged and has its flaws… overall the atmosphere, narrative and execution of stealth-from-the-shadows won me over. Will be 25 plats within the first 6 months of 2026 if I manage it before the end of June.

Mega Man is a major blank spot in my personal gaming history… and while I have respect for the series I don’t see any way that I (personally) will ever be won over by more of the same. To quote Jaffee (which I’m loathe to do tbh) “It looks like dlc”! Lol
