Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 630

Yesterday was my last day in work until 5 May, so wanted something to sink my teeth into… so maybe Starfield? I was also looking for something that would put my Pro through its paces though too, as I haven’t played anything that was pro-enhanced yet… so I seriously considered finally trying Cyberpunk 2077 šŸ¤”. I do love a big bombastic 1st party Sony blockbuster for a week off though, so ultimately settled on Ghost of Yotei. Most excited I’ve been about starting up a new game in a while.

Re: Fable PS5 Reportedly Delayed, GTA 6 Could Push It to 2027

I remember watching an Xboxera episode where specialnick had the temerity to suggest that Fable ā€˜may’ get delayed until 2027… Jesse got so angry he kicked him from the show! Xbox influencers/content creators are so funny without ever meaning to be 🤣

@Fiendish-Beaver I can se your logic… but from everything I’ve seen and read, the 83 on Metacritic and 85 on Open Critic are considered significant over scores. To offer the other side of the spectrum, it’s rated as 6/10 and 58% on steam and steamdb. 7/10 seems pretty fair considering.

Re: Rumour: Naughty Dog 'Floated' the Idea of Uncharted 5 Before COVID

It took a while for the Uncharted games to properly land with me for some reason but after around 16 years and three playthroughs of 1 and 2 and two playthroughs of 3… I’m now a really big fan. Looking forward to playing 4, LL and LoTC (& an eventual 5 one day šŸ¤ž) once I’ve got the platinum on 3.

Some more Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown and World War Z: Aftermath hopefully. The latter is more my bag but after getting over the initial shock of how shoddy TDU: SC looked, I’m actually enjoying that quite a bit too. Had an absolute nightmare trying to get in the same server with @CaptD yesterday though, to finish off the last FRIM (free ride instant money) action (slipstream). For a constantly online game, built around social racing it has possibly the worst multiplayer implementation yet seen. We eventually managed it through sheer bloody-mindedness though šŸ˜….

@Th3solution damn dude… I’d be panicking already not gonna lie šŸ˜‚. I know it can be a little intimidating booting one up for the first time in a while but I guarantee you that within 5 minutes of booting Dark Souls 3 for the first time, you’ll be glad that you did. The fact that you’ve had a full year off from souls-likes will probably help you appreciate it even more I reckon. Anyway, I can’t wait to hear all about it.

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for April 2026 Announced

@Th3solution I do have it, and have heard really good things about it too… **** knows when I’ll actually get to it though šŸ˜…. This year I’ve played Hellpoint and have Lies of P lined up for the second half of the year. Next year I’ll be playing Thymesia and Black Myth: Wukong.

And that’s not to mention Stranger of Paradise, Wo Long, Mortal Shell, Wuchang, Enotria, Steel Rising… not to mention a few souls-lites like Stellar Blade and Blades of Fire. I really need to up my souls-likes to 3 per year but where I’m gonna find the time I do not know.
