And people seem to miss my point like a cold turkey smackhead missing the needle. I’ve never said once that GTAVI will be 60fps on Pro… I’ve said I still have a slither of hope (& as people seem to have incredibly bad comprehension skills, that indicates my hope is little more than that… a last hope standing against and onslaught of despair as it were). I never categorically state anything until the facts are out in the open… you do you though.

@Northern_munkey well for all the people who clearly thought I was being serious, the PC fanboys are having a field day online rn about there being absolutely no chance that GTAVI will run at 60fps on Pro because it’s CPU bound… and in their words “theres nothing you can do about the Pro’s shoddy CPU.

Well, so is Dragon’s Dogma 2 (although less intensive I’d hazard a guess)… but there was demonstrably something that could be done as per this piece of news today.

While I would never state anything categorically, I’m not like PC fanboys… I still have at least a sliver of hope for the Pro’s performance mode of GTAVI.

I love a third person looter-shooter, so am actually quite interested in this. I kinda have a base-line for these kinda things of First Descendant’s level of quality (which I’d probably rate around 6.5-7/10), if it’s as good or better than that I’ll be pretty happy.

@JohnnyShoulder it took around a month or so as I was in the middle of some game at the time but it was getting used by the time February came around 😏

If it’s one thing I’ll never do is judge someone for their political stand point, it’s one of the things that annoys me most about current society. @GirlVersusGame I did play a little No Man’s Sky at release but it was notoriously bare-bones at the time and I quickly lost interest as a result. I really do need to give it another go now that it’s been transformed.

Well, @CaptD and I will be playing a fair bit of Helldivers 2 in the next month or so, so you’re welcome to join us and share the little amount of knowledge that we’ve accrued thus far. Alternatively, I played a bunch with randoms on the weekend and I found it a great experience, so don’t exclude that option entirely.

Regarding Big Walk it is actually impossible solo… but well worth the effort of finding someone that would co-op with you. Try the boosting thread in here or even reach out to some of the people on your friends list to see whether they fancy it. Its quality.

@GirlVersusGame nah it’s boycotted 😁… not because I’m part of this rabble but because the little gaming time I’ve had recently has been devoted to Big Walk and Helldivers 2. I am keen to boot it up and try a few of the games I’ve managed to snag though. The one drawback so far, my copy… well the box of True Crime: Streets of New York turned up but the disc inside is Battlefield 2.

What I’d give for Days Gone 2… what Sony would do for a first party game that isn’t Spider-man to sell like Days Gone did these days.

I might get the yellow controller. It’s as nice a themed controller as I’ve seen this gen… and I can’t lie, breaking in a new controller is a far more pleasant experience than it has any right to be.

@Teclo the blink of an eye eh… I’m gonna come full circle with #300 and do Metal Gear Solid from the Master Collection Vol. 1. It’s about time one of these MGS plats is for a milestone 😉

I got the ps3 plat back in 2021, I personally found the MGS2 plat far more of a ball-ache tbh. The MGS4 platinum journey was fairly pleasant I thought.

I think it comes down to mood and expectations sometimes. I remember feeling a bit non-plussed by Tsushima back when I played it around a year after it released but Yotei blew my frikkin’ doors off.

I’ll be interested to see what I think of Tsushima when I play it again via the Director’s Cut.

I’ve pre-ordered it because I’ve always pre-ordered it (from Vice City onwards at least)… it’s a ritual for me at this stage. I will miss waiting outside my local game at 12am with a massive queue of similarly excited people though.
