For those who grew up in the noughties and the Internet's earlier years, Neopets was one of several popular online destinations for kids. You may be surprised to learn the virtual pet site is still very much alive, and more than that, it's got a PS5 game coming very soon.
Yes, you'll soon be able to play Neopets: Mega Mini Games Collection - The Neopian Arcade Odyssey, a needlessly wordy title for what is a compilation of the browser game's arcadey distractions.
Arriving on 26th March 2026, the game comprises 25 remastered minigames "from the golden age of Neopets", all remastered and "optimised" for controllers. In addition, there's one original minigame, Starlight Symphony, giving old fans something totally new to experience.

There are Arcade, Challenge, and Endless modes to enjoy, and a whole bunch of unlockable goodies to earn as you play each minigame.
Trophy hunters will be pleased to learn there's also a platinum gong to aim for, as revealed in the recently published Trophy list.
Perhaps surprisingly, this is being made available physically as well as digitally.
If we're being honest with ourselves, most of these minigames are probably gonna be kinda bad, but there's definitely some nostalgic charm to this.

This is genuinely gonna review so poorly because these games aren’t anything more than flash minigames.
However that doesn’t matter, this is for Neopets fans and people that grew up with Neopets. And I’m all for preservation of flash games.
Never heard of it
Brings me back to my childhood where I had a Christmas Lupin, then let it play with a toy not knowing it would change it into a plain ass bird.
I've never heard of these and have been going out of my way to read books about 90's toys/games. The article title made me think Tamagotchi. But I've never played a flash game either, the collection seems well put together. Nice art too and it's great to see other game types being preserved.
Never heard of it
