Saros is just over a month away now on PS5, and we're itching to play it after all these tiny gameplay clips.
The latest snippet of footage is here, and it's yet more proof this is gonna be a great follow-up to its predecessor Returnal.
The video is the shortest one yet at only 14 seconds, but when the game looks this slick, that's all you really need to get the point across.
The clip shows Saros' "pull forward" gameplay. This isn't explained, but it seems to just be a cool way of saying the action is extremely aggressive and kinetic.
Saros is a fast-paced, high intensity third-person shooter with a rogue-lite structure.
It's rounding off some of Returnal's thornier gameplay systems to make the overall experience a little less punishing. For example, when you die in Saros, you'll be able to return immediately to later biomes (once unlocked) rather than having to start from the very beginning.
There's also a greater emphasis on permanent progression; there was a little bit of that in Returnal, but Saros will have more persistent upgrades to invest in and ensure you're that little bit stronger each time you embark on a new run.
On top of that is a more overt story, with protagonist Arjun Devraj joined by several human companions in the hub space.
We're pretty darn excited to see how it all plays out when the game arrives on 30th April. What do you think of this latest look at Saros? Tell us in the comments section below.
