Mortal Shell 2 has just thrown out a hefty gameplay trailer which shows off all kinds of stuff.
Much of the video is made up of uncut footage, and it clocks in at just under 12 minutes in length. Well worth skimming at the very least, if you're interested in this Soulslike sequel.
Mortal Shell 2 is currently on track for a vague 2026 release, but you've got to imagine that a confirmed date can't be too far off. After all, the game's getting a beta this summer on PC.
It feels like expectations for this one are fairly high. The first Mortal Shell was, in our humble opinion, one of the more interesting Soulslikes on the market. This was largely down to the fact that gameplay revolved around the possession of different 'shells' — forgotten warriors who formed what was essentially a class system.

The sequel retains that mechanic, with the above trailer showcasing three different shells in action. The visuals are pretty damn crisp, too.
