What is sad is I don't think the original vision of cyberpunk that they promoted and everything that was supposed to be in the game will ever be realised.
That leaked statement may well be true I know that a lot of the development team are very young and inexperienced and most had never worked on a huge project like this.
Take the gunplay the driving and the parkour does anything about it seem as good as anything else in the likes of cod or a dirt/forza or dying light?
No because the studio hired new inexpensive staff rather than employ experienced developers who can bring top tier work but also cost a lot more.
@Flaming_Kaiser the question I would like to know is this in its current state cyber punk looks like a game that was developed in under two years with the compliment of staff cdpr have.
So what have they been doing for the previous 3 years when it went into full development?
Bad management?
Did they have to scrap a previous version and start from scratch?
@jess3a3 Kingdom come deliverance is the best open world rpg. Granted the towns in that are no were near the size of the fictional night city but they are based on real world locations in the late 1300's.
And the way cyberpunk city is just smoke and mirrors every building/house in kcd can be entered.
Also every npc has their own home and bed and has their own daily routine were they wake get dressed eat their breakfast and go about their daily chores.
You're literally can follow any npc for a day to see what they get up to. And the Ai is much better in that if you commit a crime you can fight bribe or pay the fine or go to jail or run but if you run you will not be able to go back to that town for a good while. Also the npcs will be more paranoid of you as your a stranger if things go missing and store prices will go up.
In cyber punk 2077 you can kill someone and drive 200 yards and it's forgotten about! I like cp2077 but it's not a top rpg!
To anyone who reads this the next time whatever game your following on Twitter or Facebook or whatever and you see someone say something like hurry up release this game or something alone them lines.
You have permission to call them a massive a***hole!
Second specific performance patches for each individual system.
Thirdly gameplay is just not up par with other ip's out there. Infact I have seen games twenty years old with better Ai and for a fps shooter it's gunplay is very ropey yes it works but it's like something from a small indy developer.
What annoys me is and before I begin I have cyberpunk on my ps5 just sitting there like a little surprise just waiting till the day it's ready to go.
Now back to what annoys me is the way this was promoted by cdpr and the game media sites and youtubers.
This was always gonna have problems day one its pushing the edges of the game design and when you aim that high well the odds are against you.
This should have clearly been advertised as such and those so called 'game journalists' should have seen this coming months ago and they would have if the were publishing stories like no hands on preview of cp2077 is worrying and why won't cdpr let us see cp2077.
Instead they just publish articles what can only be described as wordy advertising for a game they have never actually seen.
So because this was handled so poorly we have a terrible launch. If the right questions were asked and the right answer's were out there expectations would have been better tempered.
@Jimmer-jammer it's gonna be a great game when the issues are fixed. I've played my fair share of buggy games and enjoyed them.
Most though were from small indy devs who have no choice but to release their product unfinished as the need for sales to keep a roof over their heads.
It's very annoying when a major studio do it as financially they are secure they could easily have delayed or brought in a second development team to ease the work load.
I'm gonna call out all the game media news sites/ YouTube and say that they are poor journalists.
They spend all year generating hype promoting a lot of these publishers/developer's for ad revenue and covering the pr trash.
Not once did any of these news sites or youtubers ask the question how's cyberpunk running?
How's the stability or your game how's it run on the ps4 or base xbox.
Nah you stand with your d**k in your hand
the week of release at the 25th hour saying somethings fishy that they won't give you review code for the ps4 and xbox.
I've read comments about disappointed in cdpr some even say they lied.
But you were all an accomplice in this and don't deny it!
I have no doubt this will be a good game sooner rather than later.
But the dumpster fire of release stands with not just cdpr but the games media as well.
Just to add don't call yourselves journalists call yourselves a public relations promoter.
I really liked the last of us 2 but the story was not original in fact it receives the same reaction by fans as the walking dead did when negan introduced Lucille to a few heads.
When you look at the two situations and draw comparisons you can only come to one conclusion....
I have this installed on my ps5 but I'm just going to wait for the next patch that will probably have it at least 4k res running at 60fps. I think for a fully optimum ps5 version is going to be a bit while there busyfixing all the bugs.
@eddibhoy no its not theft, I have seen photos of a coffee maker with the Amazon delivery level attached and the order number corresponding with an order placed for a ps5. This is a monumental mess up by Amazon uk and they will have to refund or deliver the ordered item.
If not then contact trading standards or citizens advice and get after them is the best advice for those in that situation.
I noticed the fan kicking in last night while watching Netflix for maybe a 2-3mins. Was quiet playing games though and still a million times quieter than my pro.
My guess the way it sped up like that doing what way be a none intensive exercise would make me belive that it is not a hardware issue.
Hi push square could you please add to your article for anyone in this situation to report this to trading standards here in the UK. Multiple reports in the dozens are being reported about amazon UK doing this and an investigation is open now.
The question I would like to ask if the internal ssd fails how difficult will it be to replace which we can do with the ps3 and the ps4 as the ps5 ssd looks almost attached or built into the system!
It's some of the above comments that frankly make the gaming community look ridiculous.
To call a company that employs tens of thousands and has many divisions and under them dozens of departments with many employees who do a fantastic job everyday and to lump that all in with a throw away with typical online comments like arrogant and selfish is exactly why Sony only communicate on their own terms.
No one or any company is 100% perfect and while developers and publishers may have their own problems and future plans so does Sony and as Sony would not be entitled to know their future plans or dealings neither do they have the right to know why Sony does this or that!
If I was so annoyed at a company as some are from the comments I have read over the last few months well i just wouldn't buy their products.
Looks interesting! But after seven long years cyberpunk will be here (GOTY) and it's really going to set a new standard for rpg's. I just can't see myself playing anything else.
Look I don't want to sound like scare mongering here but unless a certain company get their finger out this launch might not be as smoothly as another rival. And just to clarify i am talking about online infrastructure and with the big holiday season round the corner we could see some network down activity!
Well the fact that this game can kinda be played three times to see how missions can play out differently depending on your initial choice of character back story. I'm hoping the major plotline can be completed in around 50 hours!
Maybe I'm getting old (well I am old) but I have very little interest in online multilayer personally and professionaly. Unless your in the 10% for any developer or publisher it's a very significant time and financially risky road to take. I still belive single player is a far more sustainable business model.

Re: CD Projekt Committed to 'Many Plans' Once Cyberpunk 2077 Is Sorted Out
@LordSteev never happen.
When you have shareholders they do not care what you made last year share prices are based upon what your going to make in the future.
So you'll always have pre release marketing no matter what industry your interested in.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 Patch Coming Within 10 Days, Native PS5 Version Set for Second Half of 2021
What is sad is I don't think the original vision of cyberpunk that they promoted and everything that was supposed to be in the game will ever be realised.
I think their reach exceeded their grasp.
Re: Ubisoft Announces New Star Wars Game from The Division Team
For a split second I thought it was a new startrek game.
And for an android that is an eternity!
Re: Returnal Aims to Haunt Players with a Slowly Unravelling Mystery on PS5
I expect this to be another good game for the ps5. The gameplay looks fast and frantic.
Just the ticket imo.
Re: Official Killzone Website Shut Down, Some Services Affected
Sony has way too many third person games imo.
They need a really good fps.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Debunks Widespread Rumour of the Game's 'No Man's Sky Style Comeback'
By the way I'm sure overtime it will be a top experience but cdpr have bumbled this royally.
As devs leave to work other places the true story will leak.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Debunks Widespread Rumour of the Game's 'No Man's Sky Style Comeback'

Good system the ps5 after I tested a bunch of ps4 games and they all ran flawlessly I sold my pro.

I like this article.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077's Multiplayer and DLC Not the Focus, As CDPR Preps Rescue Mission
Three things they need to do.
Bug fixes has to be first.
Second specific performance patches for each individual system.
Thirdly gameplay is just not up par with other ip's out there. Infact I have seen games twenty years old with better Ai and for a fps shooter it's gunplay is very ropey yes it works but it's like something from a small indy developer.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Aiming to Be a 'Playable, Stable Game without Glitches and Crashes'
The only good thing about this is that the game is finished fixing bugs and other issues should be quick.
But what a disaster in providing term's.
Next big release I wish the games press would start asking more difficult questions and to hell with getting exclusive previews and pr bites.
Re: PS5 Brute Force Fixes Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 Technical Problems
@huntbearpig I've seen the police system on YouTube its similar to gta star system except in cp2077 you only have to drive 200 yards and it goes away.
How this was okay by someone at cdpr I'll never know.
Someday this game will be great as I have it but I kinda feel like an early adopter or something.
God speed cdpr you got work to do!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 354
Resisting the urge to play cyberpunk on the ps5, probably just play cold war or something.
MUST NOT PLAY CYBERPUNK UNTIL ITS FIXED.

Re: Poll: Is the PS5 DualSense Sony's Best Controller Yet?
First controller I have had that needs to be plugged in to receive an update for it.
Love the haptic feed back on the trigger for fps games like cod.
The grips though feel weird as solidrev said they feel the same as when you hold little dog legs.
I'm not joking they really do!
Re: Amazon UK Responds to Stolen PS5 Delivery Claims
Quick update: It looks like amazon is refunding all none delivered ps5's.
Though from what I have seen they are offering no compensation to those affected which is pretty poor customer service.
On another note ps5 peripherals have also begun being reported as missing or none delivered and again from amazon!

@Lemky Yes it is released the 13th.

It's early days as developers get more used to the available options the ps5 offers you will see major improvements in performance in the near future!
