Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Debunks Widespread Rumour of the Game's 'No Man's Sky Style Comeback'

darksoul77

That leaked statement may well be true I know that a lot of the development team are very young and inexperienced and most had never worked on a huge project like this.

Take the gunplay the driving and the parkour does anything about it seem as good as anything else in the likes of cod or a dirt/forza or dying light?

No because the studio hired new inexpensive staff rather than employ experienced developers who can bring top tier work but also cost a lot more.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grabs Christmas Number One, Cyberpunk 2077 Slips to Third

@Flaming_Kaiser the question I would like to know is this in its current state cyber punk looks like a game that was developed in under two years with the compliment of staff cdpr have.

So what have they been doing for the previous 3 years when it went into full development?

Bad management?

Did they have to scrap a previous version and start from scratch?

Something is very wrong here!

@jess3a3 Kingdom come deliverance is the best open world rpg. Granted the towns in that are no were near the size of the fictional night city but they are based on real world locations in the late 1300's.

And the way cyberpunk city is just smoke and mirrors every building/house in kcd can be entered.

Also every npc has their own home and bed and has their own daily routine were they wake get dressed eat their breakfast and go about their daily chores.

You're literally can follow any npc for a day to see what they get up to. And the Ai is much better in that if you commit a crime you can fight bribe or pay the fine or go to jail or run but if you run you will not be able to go back to that town for a good while. Also the npcs will be more paranoid of you as your a stranger if things go missing and store prices will go up.

In cyber punk 2077 you can kill someone and drive 200 yards and it's forgotten about! I like cp2077 but it's not a top rpg!

Re: PS5 Brute Force Fixes Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 Technical Problems

darksoul77

@huntbearpig I've seen the police system on YouTube its similar to gta star system except in cp2077 you only have to drive 200 yards and it goes away.

How this was okay by someone at cdpr I'll never know.

Someday this game will be great as I have it but I kinda feel like an early adopter or something.

God speed cdpr you got work to do!

Re: Sony Processing Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds for PS5, PS4 Players

darksoul77

@Uromastryx I agree with what you said.

What annoys me is and before I begin I have cyberpunk on my ps5 just sitting there like a little surprise just waiting till the day it's ready to go.

Now back to what annoys me is the way this was promoted by cdpr and the game media sites and youtubers.

This was always gonna have problems day one its pushing the edges of the game design and when you aim that high well the odds are against you.

This should have clearly been advertised as such and those so called 'game journalists' should have seen this coming months ago and they would have if the were publishing stories like no hands on preview of cp2077 is worrying and why won't cdpr let us see cp2077.

Instead they just publish articles what can only be described as wordy advertising for a game they have never actually seen.

So because this was handled so poorly we have a terrible launch. If the right questions were asked and the right answer's were out there expectations would have been better tempered.

Re: Sony Processing Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds for PS5, PS4 Players

darksoul77

@Jimmer-jammer it's gonna be a great game when the issues are fixed. I've played my fair share of buggy games and enjoyed them.

Most though were from small indy devs who have no choice but to release their product unfinished as the need for sales to keep a roof over their heads.

It's very annoying when a major studio do it as financially they are secure they could easily have delayed or brought in a second development team to ease the work load.

Just no excuses will wash.

Re: Sony Processing Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds for PS5, PS4 Players

darksoul77

I'm gonna call out all the game media news sites/ YouTube and say that they are poor journalists.

They spend all year generating hype promoting a lot of these publishers/developer's for ad revenue and covering the pr trash.

Not once did any of these news sites or youtubers ask the question how's cyberpunk running?

How's the stability or your game how's it run on the ps4 or base xbox.

Nah you stand with your d**k in your hand
the week of release at the 25th hour saying somethings fishy that they won't give you review code for the ps4 and xbox.

I've read comments about disappointed in cdpr some even say they lied.

But you were all an accomplice in this and don't deny it!

I have no doubt this will be a good game sooner rather than later.

But the dumpster fire of release stands with not just cdpr but the games media as well.

Just to add don't call yourselves journalists call yourselves a public relations promoter.

It's far more fitting i think.

Re: Poll: Is the PS5 DualSense Sony's Best Controller Yet?

darksoul77

First controller I have had that needs to be plugged in to receive an update for it.

Love the haptic feed back on the trigger for fps games like cod.

The grips though feel weird as solidrev said they feel the same as when you hold little dog legs.

I'm not joking they really do!

Re: Amazon UK Responds to Stolen PS5 Delivery Claims

darksoul77

Quick update: It looks like amazon is refunding all none delivered ps5's.

Though from what I have seen they are offering no compensation to those affected which is pretty poor customer service.

On another note ps5 peripherals have also begun being reported as missing or none delivered and again from amazon!

Re: Amazon UK Responds to Stolen PS5 Delivery Claims

darksoul77

@eddibhoy no its not theft, I have seen photos of a coffee maker with the Amazon delivery level attached and the order number corresponding with an order placed for a ps5. This is a monumental mess up by Amazon uk and they will have to refund or deliver the ordered item.

If not then contact trading standards or citizens advice and get after them is the best advice for those in that situation.

Re: Another Indie Dev Suggests Sony's Denying PS Store Sale Requests

darksoul77

It's some of the above comments that frankly make the gaming community look ridiculous.

To call a company that employs tens of thousands and has many divisions and under them dozens of departments with many employees who do a fantastic job everyday and to lump that all in with a throw away with typical online comments like arrogant and selfish is exactly why Sony only communicate on their own terms.

No one or any company is 100% perfect and while developers and publishers may have their own problems and future plans so does Sony and as Sony would not be entitled to know their future plans or dealings neither do they have the right to know why Sony does this or that!

If I was so annoyed at a company as some are from the comments I have read over the last few months well i just wouldn't buy their products.

Re: New PS5 Features Discovered in PS Store's Source Code

darksoul77

Look I don't want to sound like scare mongering here but unless a certain company get their finger out this launch might not be as smoothly as another rival. And just to clarify i am talking about online infrastructure and with the big holiday season round the corner we could see some network down activity!
