Here you go push square since i am feeling generous. An old game that I can't name is being redeveloped for the ps5 and only the ps5 (not pc) it will also take advantage of the new ssd super fast loading architecture of the ps5.

This is why I say redeveloped and not remastered as the whole game from the graphic engine to every asset including all the sound files and the entire control set up is having to be redeveloped to take advantage of the new features that the ps5 and the new ps5 controller offer.

This is not what we could define under current standards as a remaster as new gameplay elements that will only be available on ps5 are introduced and hopefully make this a new experience for old fans and new players.

@clvr while I doubt it will be my favourite game of all time (shout to final fight) I'm sure it will be a very well made and will be an ascetic delight!

@Jomabug76 no on ps4 it runs at 900p and is upscaled to 1080p it ain't the same thing as running a game at 1080p. Go and look it up.

Interesting any developer who does this should be applauded as I'm sure it ain't cheap. Is the photo mode good though?

@tomassi contact Sony support they will be able to fix this for you as I had the same issue a while ago.

I feel that a lot of company's at this stage are frightened not just the likes of Sony but a lot of other industries as well. The world is on the knife edge yet again but it always manages to right itself in the end.

If I could say one thing it's just 'keep moving forward' that's what we have had to do in the past that's what we have to do now!

@darksoul77 Also just to add the ps4 pro that I have is advertised as 4k but let's be honest variable adjustments depending on what's on screen and checker board 4k, is not really true 4k!

@ChipBoundary fact the day the ps4 was released it was already slower and less powerful than the average gaming pc at the time. Neither it or the xbox could run battlefield 4 at 1080p. So no i ain't joking

I will not get my hopes up as we're always promised the world from developers and manufactures in gaming and what we get is normally quite underwhelming!

Out of all the souls games imo demon souls was the best. I liked how you had to change the world from light to dark to see everything and that took patience.

Out of them all its the one I want to see the most on ps5 and not a remake it was perfect just a remastered will do.

@TheArt same as the first then I played it over a couple of nights and while it was good I thought it was short. But it did have mp so that helped!

This weekend I'm back onto dragon age inqustion. Nice to go back to a game after a year and find you op character waiting to tear s**t up.

Vampyr sequel I hope. It was not perfect but it has massive potential.

Yeah it was pretty brutal but I didn't like the noise the dog made when she set it on fire. Yes it was realistic but so was that film irreversible and I don't want to watch that again!

I already have spiderman so chances of ps plus freebie is slightly higher.

But realistically it won't be this it'll be something else I have or something I'm not even remotely interested in!

Yeah pretty much what everyone else has said, though a bit of a warning about them Sony headsets the build quality isn't great it's probably better forking out a bit more for a better brand imo.

Still waiting for a realistic version of the danes. These viking have more in common with marvels thor than the real ones.

@get2sammyb I wish Sony or any company at this stage good luck if you are trying to launch a new product in the current situation especially if you have greedy shareholders breathing down your neck. The ps5 will come and it will be worth the wait all I can say on the matter is keep the faith.

We all know the new machines will blow the current ones outta the water and we have a lot of new games to look forward too but I'm also really looking forward to all my current ps4 games not really looking better but just having solid frame rates with no slow down as even the pro running games in 4k can have significant frame rate problems sometimes.

A bit of Kingdom come deliverance to chill and for a bit more action spacehulk deathwing!

I will give it a miss as I have 'pop up pirate' sitting there and i think it would be more fun!

I'm getting deja vu from reading the comments. It's like days gone all over again and you know what that game was a solid 9 outta 10.

Yesterday i picked up spacehulk deathwing enhanced edition for 8 quid.

Very underrated game imo.

Looks great, it's a pity most indy devs are unable to produce stuff like this mostly because of lack of money or time.

This gen would be amazing if indys were able to do games that looked this good as they mostly come up with original ideas.

The question I really want to here an answer on is how long to the next mid gen upgrade from both ms and Sony.

I'm thinking 2023-24 autumn. Before I get shouted down i am just being a realist.

5 years from now I bet the ps5 had sold double the xbox.

@KingPev you don't need to eat that often only once a day from one of the pots and sleep are free saves. Keeping your armour fully repaired and also clean (if your like me and want everyone to address you as a knight) now that gets a bit monotonous but having a nice armour set does give you a lot of influence with characters and make guards/bandits more scared of you.

@KingPev it does take a while to get into but I love Kingdom come it's probably one of the most realistic game world's created. I spent a few thousand coin on armour there so need to kill a few bandits and loot their gear to sell to replenish my funds then who knows what I will get up to!

@Arugula well the best at it on YouTube is probably raffytaffy. As far as I know asmr is a sensory condition that not everyone has. I guess that's why a lot of people find it confusing.

8bit invaders is a great rts game and the sound track is by the same guy who did command and conquer.

My wife will play this on release as im still neck deep into Kingdom come deliverance. So she'll let me know if it's decent or if it's another example of identity politics being shoved into something that doesn't need it.

Ps5 for me. I just don't see compelling arguments that would make me want to switch to xbox.

I also think in terms of sales unless Sony make a huge mistake and i mean really huge like the red ring this next gen will play out exactly like the last.

I hope the writing is up to par as this will just be a reskin of the last one but with vikings and the gameplay will probably be 99% the same so it'll all hang on the story.

@JohnnyBastos perhaps but I see a lot of identity politics these days and personally hate it. I'm not anti religion and I ain't homophobic but what I see is the so called left and right going at it and both sides have flawed arguments.

Any game that contains any of this crap or takes either side ain't getting my support. This old left vs right never leads anywhere good.

I hate identity politics the controversy around tlou2 is very similar to the same controversy about Kingdom come deliverance not having enough ethnic minorities in a medieval game set in Europe.

I've tried these type of games before and I always find them underwhelming. I've seen episodes of paw patrol more edgy.

I want to be shocked, enthralled I want a fmv game based on American psycho or momento. Ya know something with a 'knock your socks' of twist at the end!

Even though this was posted a while ago there is still a tonne missing. With a good 4k TV with hdr it's amazing how good some games look. My pro favourites are death stranding, spiderman, ff7, grid, everspace (which is so good you can take screenshots all day)
