Never clicked with the first so the second has never been on my radar no matter the price. I did pick up the stranger things game for 2.49 here in the UK which is a great price for some retro style fun.

Bit of an ego this guy, I'm sure they've seen the same research as has Sony that in terms of growth of the number of people gaming it is slowing and at its current rate will probably come to a stand still in the next decade. The truth is not everyone is into gaming so spending in his words 10's of billions could look like a fools folly in the near future.

Load times might not be much of a problem in the near future ps5 but the crashes hopefully will be fixed sooner rather than later as this looks like an amazing rpg experience.

Seems like a decent distraction for the price.

After a short break in the nineties from gaming it was the release of the ps 1 that got me back into gaming and been a PlayStation owner since then so can't see that changing soon.

Well took the bait yesterday and got generation zero for 14.99 before it dropped off the Jan sale and I'm glad I did and after a rocky launch earlier in the year it's finally the game it should have been day one. So big thumbs up for that but sadly now have to start putting penny's aside for the ps5 ff7 re3 cyberpunk 2077 dying light 2 vampire the masquerade tlou2 as well. Gonna be an expensive year I think.

Only 1056 hrs I thought it isn't to bad but it is the equivalent of 44 days last year on ps4 just under 3 hrs a day average. Interesting!

I only have to watch a clip of clapping seals to get the real E3 experience.

When any xbox fan starts piping up I just talk exclusives and that shuts them up. It ain't been a war for a long time and another box ain't gonna change that.

This + the last of us 2 + ghost of tushima and another exclusive will land when the ps5 drops and I'm betting it's hzd 2. Gonna be a good year and still got the likes of cyberpunk 2077 dying light 2 as well.

The show delivered what I wanted for the witcher. I still have the game installed with a couple of side things left to do but after putting in 150 hrs more or less and the main story completed I will have to be pretty bored to go back in.

I wish they would just call these security updates rather than performance updates as that's what they are.

As a collector of p's games my collection of ps3 ones far outweighs the rest. Just a pity some of the classic multiplayer from that gen is either very dead or dieing.

Flop incoming as a maybe comedy short you could make it work as many of the indy guys on YouTube frequently do but as a big budget full length feature this is gonna stink as bad as RIPD. Sad really, the money they spent in this they could have made an epic scale lord of the rings type dragon age/dragons dogma or even a mass effect film like startrek/starwars but for adults but no we get Ryan Reynolds in a live action gta.

Things in gaming can generally change faster than the wind. The only constant I have ever known is the golden rule and it goes like this 'He who has the gold makes the rules'

@m8e3point1415 I would disagree on the art. For me the world's and visuals that comes from games is more impactful to me and left many a positive and negative impression than any painting I have ever seen.

I love death stranding I'm probably 70 hrs in and still enjoying it. After I finish I fancy a bit of terminator resistance because I watched gameplay read reviews and on that basis decided to get it and to hell with the scores.

If games are art then you can't really score that. The scoring system is stupid and anyone who puts stock in it is stupid. They don't review books films music cars or anything on a scoring system of 1 to 10 so why games. The whole industry needs to grow the f**k up and drop this system. Offering an opinion is fair it's a free country but only an ass would then score their opinion and that's what this is.

Had anyone ever seen the George carlin skit on the ten commandments, watch it he explains why a ranking system of 1 to 10 was made by smart ppl to control stupid ppl. If I award something a 10 and you a 5 why should a third person be passively forced to choose who is right and who is wrong. In this day in age don't let anyone or anything push your buttons if you know what I mean!

This game is a definite do more research before you buy game.

So seeing the controller is almost exactly like the current one I take it ps4 controllers will work with the ps5 as well as the games.

Death stranding is a mixture of something like minecraft with the crafting and building it's also story heavy but at its core you've gotta enjoy the gameplay loop as it's very open ended on giving you a lot of freedom to play it how you want. Sometimes it's fun just to raid the mule camps or just hunt bt's if the grind of delivering gets a bit much.

@BarefootBowser yeah they really need to dial down the bikes, in fact just take them out of the world make them only available in the garage. As for other structures and lost packages I'm fine with that as it adds to the gameplay but I don't need two bikes side by side on the highway.

@Shigurui yeah I think it's genius how d's does this it gives you just enough help from other players but at the same time your gonna have to do some of the heavy lifting. How it does this not matter were you are in the world is remarkable. I'm currently about 40 % through the story but for some reason I have to 5 star every strand so doing major deliverys.

Damn tempting but I'm in the middle of death stranding and I have grid the outer world's and ghostbusters remastered sitting which should take me up to March/april when the likes of ff7 cyberpunk and the last of us 2 will drop so I must resist the urge.

Yeah pretty flawless on the pro, funny thing today I tried to outrun bt's on the bike those damn rocks though that made for a very intense 5 minutes. Also love how the story just keeps getting more interesting.

With a dozen or so cars it already is like demolition derby at the start of most races plus most races only have 3 laps so starting at the back can be tricky. Starting behind 39 other cars on a 3 lap race is practically impossible to win especially as the Ai in this is dirty as hell.

Lost in translation comes to mind, but I never like sound bites as in this day in age so many things can be took out of context!

Guy just needs to keep his ego in check, it's not complicated just give the PlayStation fans what they want and lastly set trends don't follow them.
