Literally a reskin instead of the evolution from this showing at least. Hope they have "new stuff" in there; otherwise it won't justify it being a new IP and not a sequel or even expansion.

Well, it didn't convince me at all being a new game with this showing. Literally felt like a reskin instead of the evolution to Returnal. They needed a better first showing.

Yeap, it was a weak way to show of the game for the first time. Nothing new other than a shield so far. They should show more to why this is a "new game" and not a sequel or expansion to Returnal.

It was weaker than May one and overall mediocre. Other than Wolverine I didn't care anything. Saros looks like a joke. Just call it an expansion or make a better first impression.

Maybe that metroidvania inside a book and Crimson Desert as two more games.

This problem really sucks and the worst thing is no option to play in "PS5 settings". Like just let me play in PS5 performance mode with -much probably- more consistent performance/resolution etc.

Stripping down PS5 settings from the Pro machines is just plain stupid.

Abandoned Returnal finally after having to go through long and tedious runs after runs just to get where I am currently "really" are. Hope they fixed the worst part of Returnal which is a very crucial mistake for a roguelike: Runs should be short!

Hope Wolverine is good. And I hope there is something more than these two to get excited.

I am bit dissapointed tbh. But there are times I play a game and I am like "Yeah, I disagree with PS crew on that one". Maybe this one will become one of them; still, I was expecting a "great game" so I will wait "till new year to play it now.

I was hoping this was the news that 2000s trilogy remastered like it was rumoured. I hope we get that at some point since I never finished Underworld and I really want to see its end.

I really don't have any hope for this show.

I am excited about this. While I didn't like the main story of Ragnarok; gameplay was so satisfying.

I am sure they will shake things up with a new setting. Also, don't force it to be two game story if there is enough material for three games! Look what happened to Ragnarok.

I will admit for the budget, it's still good work and impressive. But like I said, I was waiting a "big upgrade" say from Part 1 to Part 2 kind of "Wow, they really up the budget". I don't say spend 200+, but they could at least spen x2 the budget since the risk is less now that is a well-known and beloved IP.

All I care about is character reveal trailers as a non-fan of the genre. I like them a lot when they happen for MK and SF; especially MK trailers are always a treat.

Yeaaah, no. I can see that "reasonable budget" since the first trailer and it upsets me. One of the reasons for GoT not being in the same league with other tentpoles like GoW, LoU and Spidey even Horizon I would say; was the "reasonable budget".

I was hoping they would spend more(even if it's not 200+ million dollars) to make it more akin to those tentpoles from production value. Guess it will be another PS 1st party where it shows its inferior production design just like the first one.

I hope it's a free DLC since game has its own "Complete Edition" which I am planning to buy.

Even if he is in it I hope they don't reveal it and we get to see him in the game for the first time.

Seeing Jill again would be nice too.

Since the last Showcase sucked big time I lost hope about "Showcase would be awesome". So anything from 1st party side is welcome for sometime now. Intergalactic would be a big surprise but seeing Wolverine and 2.5D GoW would be nice enough.

I love using controller for nearly everything but yeah; GTA V sucked donkey balls when I try to play it on a controller after finishing it via k+m.

Hope it has a great story with memorable missions. I really don't care open-world part as much as that.

Great for them. F**k Nintendo! Most disgusting of the big three by far.

I already have the main game. So it's a nope from me but from a positive side maybe this causes expansion to have more discount in sales.

What does it have to with anything? RE9 already looks great, I am sure GTAVI will not be anything less than awesome and other two have good foundations in their devs.

Finished Act 1 finally. Unfortunately big event was spoiled so I didn't feel anything particular when it happened.

Other than that, it's a good game for sure but I really am not over the moon by it.

I am definetely keeping this for a "will be" partner. Hanging out solo for the time being.

About the sequel talk: I think there are 2 types of sequel;

Ones that feels similar but you go like "Yeah, this is its own thing"

Ones that feels similar and you go like "Naah, this doesn't justify being a sequel"

Uncharted 4, Last of Us Part 2, Ragnarok, Arkham Knight, Zelda-TotK is first; Spider-Man 2 is second. GoY feels like it will be the second.

Good for Sony. That's smart business really. I hope they continue their strong parts to expand money sources and don't rush to be another "We lost everything so we will destroy our brand too".

I feel like PC ports aren't worth the headache they are causing and alienating core base of the PS gamers. Overall I consider this news encouriging about the future of PS.

I think their focus on movie/series/anime side and buying %s from succesfull companies and also supporting "Hero Project" is way to earn more while keeping their main focus as their incredible 1st party games.

Incredible year for PS5 with RE9/GTAVI/Saros/Wolverine.

Most anticipated game of the next year for me. Yeah, including GTAVI

I would say it's a good art design and colors in some parts are really beatiful but overall I think it doesn't have anything worth mentioning.

Still need to play the first one but I keep delaying it until I play other Supergiant titles first.

Also I want a Netflix series just in the style of this trailer. It was awesome!

Great news as I've never played it.

Dream scenario would be;

-Intergalactic for PS5
-New Uncharted in the first two years of PS6
-Part III in the second half of PS6 life cycle

I can get it if you like that "style" but games like Silksong or Octopath Traveller has no business in a debate like this.

Horizon-Forbidden West, Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II(still) has some of the best graphics.
Alan Wake 2 was very dissapointing overall but graphical fidelity was something else. Especially back alleys of made-up New York, lighting etc.
Resident Evil 4 remake looks incredible too.

I am sure both GTA VI and Intergalactic will show us the new benchmark. Just like RDR2&LoUP2 a few years ago.

It's not same scaling type for me so just multiplying by 2 doesn't cut it. Both of them have their own consideration in my mind. So don't bother with math.

They are not the same rating systems in my eyes, like how many stars is 7.5? Right? Something lower than 8/10 would be unfair in 10 point system while on the 5 system, it's definetely doesn't deserve 4 stars.

Best studio ever! So I am excited about the game. Even though I didn't like the lead actress choice I still want to see the story and the universe. Considering Part 2 still has the best animations in a video game, can't wait to see the evolution on that with futuristic weapons like the one we saw in the announcement.

8/10 or 3.5/5 so far.

Just like the first one it is a good game per se but nothing near to the the praise it gets.

Checkpoint system and losing "souls" mechanic are awful and doesn't belong in a metroidvania. Some enemy types are just downright ridiculous and annoying.
I am 10 hours in and I will quit the moment frusturation&time I spend surpass the enjoyment I get.

Nothing to do with this but I am not in love with C33 too. It's too a good game but I disagree with the higher praise it gets.

Guess I am in the minority this year. It's sad that nobody talks about The Alters which is a better game than both.

Lego Voyagers mate. A game that you can play with your partner. Also it goes without saying but "Overcooked! All You Can Eat" is the peak gf/wife game; so much fun both with team work and arguing.

About the game; I am not excited one bit. Feels like it will be inferior to 2nd one and upcoming Reanimal from the og creators.

Premium continues to be a joke. Weaker month for Extra too. I will buy Crow Country by myself at some point when I have a chance to play but it's still the most interesting title in the month.

Yikes! Miles Morales was fun and emotional still but SM2 was a mediocre and very dissapointing. I still can't believe that Act 3 and how the ***** they wasted both Symbiote and Venom!

And that is my main concern. I don't have high hopes that Wolverine will be a good story. Hope they surprise me.

I F**KING HATE THAT S**T!!! Let me play from where I failed God damn it! Don't make me go through the same s**t I already overcome again and again just to play the part where I failed. Unfortunately it's still presence in Silksong and I was considering quitting it just like its precessor but I pushed it and it is becoming more fun with new abilities etc.

Ori 2, FIST, PoP-LC are all better games than HK already.

I really want to play Metroid Dread and Nine Sols to see where I put them. Also while I am not keen on playing the first one; Blashphemous 2 seems like another banger from what I read. People love Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom too.
