This is awesome news for Crimson Desert, James Bond, Phantom Blade 0, Wolverine, GTA VI.

I especially can't think how Wolverine will look given Insomniac's pedigree in giving us RT with 60 fps etc. even before this.

But the stupid ***** still can't solve the problem about if you "claim" a game from subscription; you can't "actually buy" it unless your subscription is finished.

Very good news to me. It shows that their focus is console again.

And yeah, I never thought about Steam Box but it will still be a console and even if Xbox is not what it used to, Steam Box will have PS games if they keep bringing them. Not a good thing for Sony obviously.

Lastly, exclusives matter and they push the gaming forward with their quality. So I am happy that it is coming back.

I just hope next Rocksteady game is similar to Arkham Knight. That game is 10 years old and still blows most of the current-gen games out of water both in terms of how beatiful it looks and gameplay.

Yeah, I was thinking other reasons for the decision but this makes the most sense. And they lost the trajectory/novelty of PC releases as it was discussed here a couple of weeks ago. They will keep their "PS classic" style cinematic ones as exclusive and continue to release live-service multiplatform which makes sense.

If they don't do any tie-ins with KFC -at least in Korea- it will be a lost opportunity.

I want to play RE4 remake in VR but yeah, not bringing Astro and Blood&Truth is so weird.

I just can't believe they didn't do anything to port Astrobot Rescue Mission and Blood&Truth. Hell, they didn't bring RE7 VR too! These 3 alone would make me really consider buying it.

Also nothing substantial other than Horizon VR was weird. I was sure they would bring a couple of 1st party stuff this time since they learned lessons from VR1.

I still can't believe this engines and what it can do. I have yet to play Forbidden West but I already know my mind will be blown away in terms of how it looks.

I liked Alan Wake 2 balanced mode in terms of performance and "look". It was one of the best looking games ever and felt smooth enough with VRR(40 fps).

Even RE4 looks incredible on PS5. And as a Pro owner I can't help but feel really happy about my decision. 1 more day! Everything I read just make me even more excited!

Hope this game rocks but my purchase will be James Bond if it's not a disaster in optimization&reviews.

Hilariously awful way to handle a live-service.

I am so annoyed by Sony not bringing this and Blood&Truth to PSVR2 or not paying Capcom to bring RE7 PS5 version etc.

One week early would have been nice.

I just need GTAVI at 40fps in a good quality then I am good. And I am a bit afraid of Crimson Desert and James Bond in terms of optimization so I hope this helps them too.

First month in years that I am not gonca redeem games since I don't have PS+. Doesn't feel like it will hurt though.

I still think biggest reason is Bluepoint cover up. Otherwise I am pretty sure they would slap it at the end of spring showing we know that will come.

This will definetely be better than Returnal. For me at least. Everything they smoothed out just speaks to me and feels like it should had been like that since the beginning.

I usually don't care old retro stuff like this from LRG but I will definetely grab this as a big Marvel and comic book fan. I hazily remember playing Captain America&Avengers game at my friends house many years ago.

Yeah, it's almost series identity. It happened in all the REs I've played. I would say 0 is the exception since Training Facility is one of the worst RE places and everything after that felt better to me.

It was most of us' biggest fear and looks like it happened. I have a feeling that I will still like it in the end but I feel a bit sad to see it.

Sony releasing games on PC and Sony expanding PS Plus with new tiers are the best examples of how competition affect rival companies. Both of those became reality because of Xbox's strategies. And 360 era of Xbox cause PS to do extra work for PS3 and after terrible Xbox One presentation PS did the opposite with PS4 again 'cause of the existence of competition. Them not having real competition for this gen showed in their decisions in different times for sure. If only we could see alternative reality where Xbox was a serious rival in this gen so people could see how it would be much better for all of us.

I appreciate them for turning the narrative of "Next Concord" to "This might be good" even though I don't play games like this.

Also can't help but feel everytime "only-mp" game comes out I go "If only there was a campaign in that world, even if it's 5-6 hours long". Good old 7th gen...

I love mteroidvania but I guess I am done with 8-bit/16-bit graphic choice unless it's really good looking like Mina the Hollower etc.

I would argue they could still be in competition even if they lost Xbox One era. I think their focus on Gamepass, Day 1 and PC were not great strategies and they simply should had resist a bit more.

I am not saying they would be the market leader but they would be in a better place I imagine. Everything they tried to "compensate" last generation just speed up their death. Even with all "everything everywhere" talk people value "special" things even in just as a bonus etc. Many people bought Xbox One still after that awful E3 presentation and I remember the hype for Series X etc. I think they would still have some kind of fanbase without all Day 1, PC, cloud etc stuff and they would actually earn enough to keep fighting.

I was implying Xbox being in a good place instead of the failing trend they keep going for years. Like not buying ABK, releasing exclusives sooner etc. They would still be in competition I believe and they would have a chance to be a serious challenge for PS like the good old days.

Yes! My most anticipated game just right after RE9! Hope the story is good. It's my biggest worry. I won't watch dedicated SoP since I don't want to get spoiled one of the best missions again.(Looking at you Spidey 2).

I really want Hermen Hulst to be gone. For this I don't have any strong opinions but overall looks like the next fail.

I think this is bad news and even though I have yet to play the series I doubt movie franchise will have the same praise and popularity with general audience.

I feel like remastering it and bringing it back wouldn't have the affect people think. I never played it though, it would be more than welcome.

I am sure it has nothing to do with releasing on the same day with Crimson Desert previously.

Can't help but feel happy when online focused games fail.

I would like to see an AC game in the vein of PS cinematic action-adventures. Focused on story and set-pieces instead of gigantic open world borefest with mediocre storytelling and lack of mission variety.

I am so glad "modern" reboot failed.
