Awesome Free-to-Play Fighter 2XKO Has Arrived on PS5

2XKO, the League of Legends-based fighting game that's been in early access on PC for quite a while, has finally arrived on PS5.

And by almost all accounts — including our own — it's a pretty great brawler, boasting some seriously slick visuals, diverse character design, and top notch online netcode.

It's also free-to-play, in case you weren't already aware, so it's well worth a download if you're at all interested. It weighs in at a mere 6.8GB on Sony's system.

So how does this thing make money? Well, unsurprisingly, it's all down to cosmetics. Character skins, visual overlays — that sort of stuff. The game's Season 1 trailer, which we've stuck at the top of this article, highlights some of these premium outfits.

I've dabbled in Early Access on PC and really enjoy the game. I'm looking forward to trying out Caitlyn and seeing if I can get some friends into it.

I'm very excited to finally play it finally in full since I got into the Alpha Lab, but I just don't really want to play on PC lol. Definitely going to hop in again when I have the time!

It was reported nearly a year ago that screen tearing was wrecking the experience on PS5 and low and behold, I am experiencing the same shiz on my Pro with VRR (I've tried without too). Anyone else getting screen tearing? It's pretty bad as it occurs in the centre of the screen.

There is not any single player content here outside of a training room. Perhaps they might add something down the line since it is a live service but at the moment if you are looking for single player fighting game content it isn't here.

I tried to hop in yesterday but the servers were down. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play it today.

$30 skins. Dial-a-combo. Screen tearing with vrr on. Small roster.

Got the 4 orange Chromas from bot matches then bailed.

I bought Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Capcom Fighting Collection 2, and Marvel vs Capcom Collection each for less than the price of a skin in this game. Tekken 8 usually drops lower than $30. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising on PS Plus. So on, so forth.

My god, the screen tearing is horrendous in the game on PS5. It would make a PS3 game blush. I've never seen anything like it in a fighting game. Way too distracting for me to play it like that.
