Fallout: New Vegas

There are now fairly strong suggestions that Bethesda will one day have Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remasters to put out, but you shouldn't expect them to launch soon, and especially not in relation to any current countdown timers.

Off the back of last year's Oblivion Remastered "exceeding internal goals and expectations", Windows Central suggests the two Fallout games from the PS3 generation will be subject to similar treatment. With the Fallout TV show website donning countdown timers and this week's Xbox Developer Direct, there has been hope the two re-releases will come out soon.

However, according to sources speaking to the outlet, it's claimed neither one is "imminent". Jez Cordon of the website believes Fallout 3 will be out first, followed by New Vegas, but again, don't expect them to come out soon.

Should they eventually arrive, it's expected the two RPGs will subscribe to a similar structure as Oblivion Remastered, where an Unreal Engine 5 enhancement is placed over the original title. There are also suggestions of Fallout 5 being greenlit at Bethesda.
