Yeah, I am totally with you on this. I don't think it will be a masterpiece or anything and feels like a tech demo more than anything else. We will see.

Comments here made my night. Great to see people who understand what's the motivation behind this. I enjoy when a mediocre product fails. And most of the live service is just that.

Smart move from them. They did enough to support VR as far as I understand and if they find more success with traditional ways at least we will have new good games to play.

I was planning going back for DLC on both this week but I guess I will wait for this update.

First compilation I'm actually excited about.

Played the base game for 6 hours and didn't enjoy it much. But interesting to see them still bringing new expansions.

If it was in a genre I couldn't care less I wouldn't buy it ever unless it got 10/10s everywhere(looking at you BG3). But the genre of this game is in my preference area and I would like to try like I said. I am just not hyped at all but if the scores were high, I would do it maybe/probably. We won't know because I can't spend time with it in launch period even if I wanted to.

There is a thing about this game that I just don't care at all. Like it looks so impressive sure but I really don't crave it on any level. I would like to try it of course because it will be talk of the town most probably but it just looks bland to me. I know I am in the minority but even though it's cliche; it doesn't look like it has a "soul" which makes a great game a great game.

That's the power of "in-house" engines folks. Other than some expections, they almost always have more advantages when it comes to optimization. I am planning to play this on PC but great news for console buyers.

I beat the og last year. Planning to check this out sometime.

Metal Eden was fun. I recommend it. Also, Ruiner is another game from that dev and it's underrated as hell.

Much better than I expected. Pro Performance with 60 fps, high RT and upscaled 4K looks like way to go.

This was one of the weirdest choices of remaster/remake trend.

I really think it depends. I can't think of many titles which are a showpiece for RT like Control, Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and Metro: Exodus.

I feel like most of the time it feels like game has RT for the sake of it instead of a really "must". It reminds me of 3D technology in cinema. How many movies you can count that "must be watched" with 3D? Same applies here.

Yeah, PS+ Extra is a great deal if you have time to play all those games. I sadly found out that subscription system is not suitable for me as I barely play games from PS+ or Gamepass and usually play the stuff I bought. First the first time since I bought PS5, I don't have any subscription and won't renew Gamepass when it ended too.

Yeah, I have at least 4-5 more hours until the end probably. Maybe even more! But it is growing on me by every hour since I was a bit dissapointed in first 1-2 hours tbh.

I am so glad I got the opportunity to sell og model to a friend and justified buying this cheaper with the help of that income. Bring on Bond, Phantom Blade, Wolverine and GTA! Don't forget new GoW spin-off and Intergalactic.

It's almost a guarantee at this point that next big thing for RE is Code Veronica remake. I am planning to play it for the first time this year so that I can enjoy remake with the knowledge of og. I didn't regret playing 4th og one first for example.

Capcom is just in full beast mode. My favourite 3rd party company. They are awesome and RE9 keeps getting better. I can't believe the graphics and some of the action. You can definetely see they got inspired by Last of Us Part II in places which is great! Leon is just incredibly cool and badass and the actor did another great job.

I hope they keep them. It will be really dissapointing if they are gone. Also the thing is "sex" is never on the screen; only woman boobs in parts and this will be an +18 game; so I see no harm it to include nudity.

Baldur's Gate 3, Last of Part 2, Cyberpunk, Witcher 3. All have nudity. Don't be hypocrite now.

GTA VI at 40 fps with upscaled 4K is all I hope.

Yeah, release the games Day and Date on PC, I'm sure that would benefit the sales of PS console and let new gamers into PS ecosystem where Sony make the big bucks with %30 percent of anything purchased./s

I will bite one of those sales after all the praise I heard. I'm sucker for good story and gameplay looks fun too.

While I agree that smallar scales and moderate-cost games with known IPs might be a good idea what I really want more between big AAAs is not Parappa the Rapper or LocoRoco and more like:

Miles Morales and Lost Legacy. Hell! I would even say Valhalla which is crazy to give it for free. For example when the rumoured Atreus game was thought to be "smaller-scale" before we learned it's live-service attempt, I was so happy they were still continuing to use assests for inbetweeners before the next full-fledged sequel/IP etc. Who would say no to smaller scale spin-off to Last of Us in San Francisco with the assests from canceled live service game for example? I'm just spitballing here.

Another thing I have been saying this for years: Keep games shorter therefore develop them faster therefore sell them cheaper therefore earn more to compensate and take profit.

I was really annoyed the day Days Gone PC announcement(which proved Horizon 1 was not an exception like many argued at the time) and never looked at the PS same since. It's good to see they are going back to old ways. Long live the exclusives. I say it all the time and I will say it again: If only Xbox was in the similar position with games with bigger budgets as system sellers.

Still playing RE9 and it's already been 9-10 hours but I am at half probably, so it will be 15+ hours when I'm done. Got to section where saving Grace in the church garden. Grace's section are amazing, I can already see one specific set-piece to be a classic from now on and I really would like to see her alone in the game, I am never missing Leon sections but he is still a badass of course. Can't wait to continue tomorrow!

I didn't like 2nd DLC much but 1st one was fun and 3rd one is straight up good and I really enjoyed it. Have fun.

I don't believe Sony thinks Xbox starting the next gen 1 year earlier will do much damage this time, unlike 7th generation. So yeah, I am expecting Fall 2028 at the earliest.

And like you said, Fantastic Four: Wolverine, GTAVI, GoW spin-off and Intergalactic will keep the brand alive with other 3rd part goodness and especially with Pro&PSSR2. No need for PS6 for a while now.

Never get the praise for the movie and always thought it was whatever. I would only play this or the previous one as a co-op option when there is not a lot of them.

Still have couple of years to 30(only 2 😛) but I love this franchise so much and you can say that I grow up in the same time frame. Thank God for remakes as RE2 remake demo was the thing made me finally check it out.

I want to believe 2028 fall at the earliest but at the same time sticking to 2027 fall is not unrealistic considering Xbox competition. Still 1.5 years to go with Pro. Bring it on the Phantom Blade 0, Wolverine, GTA VI, GoW spin-off, Intergalactic etc.

Yeah, this is weird. If they think endgame content is that significant they should had release the game with that. They can't have their cake and eat it too.

I recently finished the remastered of 1st one. Not bad, not good but it was fun overall. I am excited about this and I heard that boss fights are crazy in terms of special animations etc. Hope this is a summer game.

Demo was fun, as long as it sits around 80 or above I will be there Day 1. Saros is "Wait for %30 sale at least" game which is my limit for the full price stuff I am cautiosly interested in.

I won't play it but feels like it will be a success.
