This is my next game after I finish Neo: TWEWY. Looks excellent! It reminds me of playing Harry Potter action adventure games back on PlayStation 1/2.

The real question is what to do with the story after all the Greek and Norse gods are gone. They could ressurrect the Greek gods, I suppose. Have Atreus as the main character, maybe?

Well, to be honest they could really be tests. I work as a developer and we have test users that are basically Marvel characters. Pretty sure Tony Stark and Peter Parker are not our clients.

I have a feeling that Naughty Dog will release only a single game for PS5. Until they find a way to do another leap in ultra-realistic graphics, they won't release anything.

Hopefully it won't be just Last of Us multiplayer.

Nice! This game has been in my backlog for years, might be the right time to play it.

Hollow Knight changed my perception of indie games. I won't watch the livestream given how poor these State of Play have been whenever they shared info on multiple games, but hopefully some great indie games will be displayed.

They should get some inspiration on how Nintendo is showcasing indies. It's not just about finding games, but putting them side by side with AAAs.

Personally, when I browse Nintendo eShop, I don't feel like there is a difference in quality between an indie or AAA from major publisher, they're mixed up. On PS Store, however, AAAs and games from major publishers often come first, which gives me a feeling that they are "better" than less wanted titles at the bottom of the list.

PlayStation really needs to improve. I mean, Silkroad - the sequel to Shovel Knight - will not release on PS4/PS5 at launch, for example, which says a lot about the poor management of indies on PS.

Well, I didn't buy the excellent Demon's Souls yet due to its price, Ghost won't be different, I'll wait a few years. It's way too high for entertainment products.

I preordered Neo: TWEWY today after trying the demo last night. Seems to be a unique kind of game, love the art designs.

Btw, it would be nice if Push Square could post links to the games in PS Store (and even better if you folks could get a portion of the sale similar to how Amazon works).

Honestly, I have zero expectations. If the rest of the industry is anything to go by, Sony has absolutely nothing new to share.

If anything, this whole story is pure quality entertainment. Looking forward to the release of this game just to read the news.

@AFCC I guess it's not that they can't make it, but how much it costs to do. They probably decide to invest money on new PS5 games targetting 4k60fps than upgrading older titles. Rockstar is the exception, of course, they gave up on new games it seems, haha.

I miss E3 to be honest. When publishers started this whole Nintendo Direct approach, it was nice since they shared more info along the year. Now however, it seems that they share way less info than they ever did at E3.

Also the format was fun! High expectations, reserving some time to watch the conferences, the excitement for news. My friends and I talked about E3 a full week after it, at least. Well, times have changed I suppose, but publishers need to do better, Sony included.

So are they even doing anything with this remaster beyond bundling 6 classic games? As far as I know, these games are already available on mobile...

I wanted something about FFXVI and the future of Kingdom Hearts, but well, I didn't really expect these to show up.

Since I still need to play Origins and Odyssey, I didn't buy Valhalla yet. But kudos to Ubisoft for supporting their games longer than a single year!

@ShogunRok If you're upgrading for free from PS4 to PS5 version, is the DLC worth it? Comparing to FFXV DLCs, would you say it's better, about the same or worse?

@adrianthealchemist Maybe. Even so, I'd rather have it as 20% of battery left and a notification suggesting me to recharge to optimize battery health than a fake "battery is too low" notification.

That makes a lot of sense. I noticed a few weeks ago that my controllers were consuming battery too fast, but as it turns out it's only the notification that is broken.

Sure, they patched a 15 years old system to improve "stability"...

Unpopular opinion based on this comment section, but I'm glad they'll try something different. DQ art style, world and story elements always attracted me, but turn-based feels tedious to me nowadays. I used to enjoy it as a kid, but now... Even Pokémon lost a lot of its charm to me.

Should they consider Switch as a competitor, though? I have it as a second console, so do a few of my friends. And since they're releasing games on PC, I guess that's another platform they don't take as a competitor. That leaves them vs Xbox, not hard to reach that 50%+ now.

@ShogunRok Agreed. This could be extended to the series as a whole. Watch Dogs has always been a great idea since the first teasers, but it never quite realized its ambitions, trying too hard to fit GTA within Ubisoft-open-world formula.

I'd like to see more about Hogwarts Legacy! No idea when this is gonna happen, though.

My nephew watches this cartoon everyday. Hope it's fun for him.

@Sh3p3000 Remake. The PS1 version is fun too, but it has been replaced IMO hehe. Even Capcom named the new games as Resident Evil 2/3 without any remake subtitle.

I would enjoy a new DualSense with the same colors, but with colored X, O, Square and Triangle symbols.

The first half until you beat Beneviento is awesome, the second half not so much, but still good. Couldn't understand why they went with 1st person perspective though, in parts it felt less like Resident Evil and more like Call of Duty with monsters.
Overall I still give it a 9 when I sum all the parts.

I still don't get why so many people complain about the original black-and-white colors. They're perfect, match the console and look modern. No way I'm going back to all black controllers.

I enjoyed these games on PS3, but there is too much to play in my list before replaying ME. I can wait until the price drops a lot or they're included on Plus.

Nintendo's policy towards discounts is the reason why I have 5 games on Nintendo Switch compared to 90+ on PlayStation. I hope Sony doesn't follow this same approach.
I managed to get Miles Morales and Sackboy already, but still waiting for a sale on Demon's Souls...
Btw, other publishers are offering sales and better prices already. I got Immortals, THPS upgrade, and RE Village with good prices (fortunately Capcom didn't raise the price).

PS5 deserves all the success! It's an amazing piece of tech. I can say by personal experience that I've used a lot of BC between PS5 releases, good to notice others have been using it as well. Hopefully this will motivate Sony to keep all the games available in its platform from now on.

It does sound amazing, but given the description this could cost more than the PS5 itself...

1. Do we have enough bullets to face all the enemies or do we have to rely on the knife?
2. Is the story better tied to the series than RE7?

It's slowly rolling out features, but at least it's faster than the old version. If they need to take their time to implement all the features we expect keeping it running smoothly, fine by me!

Having a digital only PlayStation 5 probably helped with these figures.

Yes, yes, sure, PlayStation 5's SSD is amazing, but let's not forget the amazing GPU that tesselates and animates these dancing sprites and sunlit skies for you. =)

@2cents Those two features actually work well for me, but the console must be in rest mode. I was in my girlfriend's apartment and installed a game remotely this weekend actually.

Edit: One thing that happens sometimes is that a blackout shutdowns the console while I'm out, and since it doesn't go back to rest mode once the energy is back, remote download requests don't work.
