As promised, Ubisoft has detailed the future of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The big news here is that support for the game will continue "well into" 2022. Additional expansions are in development, with a teaser for a mystical-looking DLC shown at the end of the video above.
Turning to the more immediate future, one handed swords are coming to the open world title "in the next few weeks". What's more, Valhalla's second expansion, The Siege of Paris, is still on track for release this summer. No confirmed date was given, however.
And then, this autumn, the game's own Discovery Tour will launch, and it'll be free for all players. Like tours in previous games, you'll be able to learn more about the historic setting through open world exploration.
We'll be seeing plenty more of Valhalla, then, but are you still pillaging your way across medieval England? Get yourself a blade in the comments section below.

Since I still need to play Origins and Odyssey, I didn't buy Valhalla yet. But kudos to Ubisoft for supporting their games longer than a single year!

I guess that means no news about the next instalment till at least the end of this year, meaning release no earlier than end of 2022. I'm pretty desperate to move on because Valhalla didn't grip me as much as Odyssey.
@Xenomorph_79 a year 2 pass sounds likely unfortunately.
@RenanKJ I definitely seem to prefer the Assassin's Creed series since the shift to RPG style with Origins, despite the fact I've only played AC1, 2, and early portion of Brotherhood.
@Danloaded @Xenomorph_79 Sadly I do see them doing a Year 2 Pass, but hopefully there will be enough content to justify it.
@Icey664 I doubt we'll see anything solid about the next AC game until sometime in 2022 unfortunately...they want to make as many sales as possible with Valhalla.
Am I the only one waiting for the DLC that will finish the story? This was the biggest bummer for me to not know, why Eivor is where she is. Open endings are ok, but at least finish the base part of the story that the whole game is build on...
Good news, playing Valhalla on PS5 right now. Loving it so far.
Picked up Odyssey for XBSX in case MS gives it a well deserved 60 FPS patch. The likelihood that Ubisoft will ever do that officially is non-existent, so getting it for PS5 was not an option. Ugh, all this 60 FPS glory has really spoiled me…
This one just did not keep me interested got very bored sold mine good the support is there good on them 👍
