Gods & Monsters kinda felt like a classic game. It has a ring to it, like Dungeons & Dragons. Ubisoft dropped the ball with this new name, kinda awful.

Street Fighter V is a great game for those that haven't tried it yet.

I loved RE3 Remake to be honest. It's a great game. It has two issues that affect its sale IMO: its length and comparison to the original.

Well, if you didn't play the original or even if you did, it's a great game in its own right. As for length, that IS the major problem, people are gonna buy it way more when the price drops significantly. What I hear and read all the time is "Too expensive for X hours, I'll wait for a price drop" rather than "The game looks bad, I don't wanna buy it".

Btw, I got it at launch and played twice already, it's short length is kinda perfect to replay it if you enjoyed the game.

This game is making me want to get a new PS+ subscription. The more I see of it, the more I want to play it. Now this is the kind of multiplayer game I wanted!

Sony does realize that no matter how explicit they say it, people will watch the State of Play expecting PS5 news, right? At this point, ignoring that is a poor business decision, IMO.

I want to pre-order it, but it depends on the price, which Sony is not willing to share for some weird reason.

I wish I knew the price by now, at least I could save for it.

I'm looking forward to check out the titles. It's my birthday in August and of course I'm gifting myself some new games. =)

Nothing quite like Ubi to kick-off next gen properly. They know how to build excellent trailers.

That would roughly translate to R$ 350.00 in Brazil, which is way too much for an entertainment product. The standard price here for a new game has been R$ 250.00 for a while, which is still too much, but I'm ok with it since I only purchase games with this price when they're must-haves from day 1.

I have no idea if my PS4's disc drive works since I never used it. It's an easy choice for me. Glad to get a lower price too. =)

Could be similar to the original Donkey Kong Country games, where you could partner as different characters or play one at a time separately.

I didn't renew my sub this year. Not enough value to justify it, I haven't played any of the games given monthly past year and I rarely play online. Not sure about what Sony could do to appeal to gamers like me.

I don't thin E3 is going to be the same again, but I also believe it can be an important event for gaming. As much as I appreciate Nintendo Direct-esque presentations, the time of announcing games years before release is gone for me, no patience to watch trailers for something that's barely an idea - in this sense, E3 is perfect because publishers can wait until closer to release and announce stuff at E3.

I do believe E3 needs to change, though. Digital presentations, maybe trying games by streaming or downloading demos during the period, with live comments from devs, I don't know. They need to change somehow.

Totally buying these.

After playing Spider-Man twice in a row aiming for 100% both times, I can barely wait for this one! Also, given our current social context, it's awesome to see a black protagonist in a AAA game.

It grew on me as well. I gotta say that I love the colors, the controller and accessories though.

@Spinachie Easy, try to spot a difference in a 32" TV wearing glasses for astigmatism. To be honest, even without astigmatism it's hard to spot any difference in a 32" TV. It all comes down to how big your TV is and how far you're from it.

One of the reasons I'd rather stick to 1080p TVs. It just feels like a huge waste of hardware and internet bandwidth to transfer 4K images around the web. Imagine using all those resources for something other than a new resolution that we can't even notice unless the TV is huge! Not to mention it would reduce the demand on Netflix/YouTube/Other servers...

Anyway, I'll definitely watch with my headphones, let's see what this new audio tech is all about.

Not in UK, but I've got Days Gone, RE7 and Ni No Kuni. I had to control myself to not buy Death Stranding and a few others I really wanna play.

I'm spending far more money than usual in games every month than I did before the quarantine, even with a backlog to play. Are you folks also spending more?

For games in general, any Super Mario game from World to Odyssey is a given. But back to PlayStation I'd have to say Uncharted series, Last of Us, Spider-Man, Tomb Raider series, Resident Evil series and Kingdom Hearts series are all games that I played countless times already. This generation is seriously one of the best ever, if not the best.

@TheArt Totally agree with you, the main problem with Ubisoft and open-world games in general is how hard it is to identify where you are because it all feels too similar sometimes.

Well, if you think about it, Sony's business is mostly behind the scenes in the remaining sectors, that's why we don't think about it. Their electronics are embedded in non-Sony devices for example, such as their cameras.

5/15, this was a tough one!

Honestly, it's quite obvious that a powerful new hardware is gonna run today's games a lot better with the new slogans "no loading screen", "amazing graphics", and so on. But I remain skeptical about games coming 3 years from now. Once dev studios start using the full technology, we'll once again have loading screens and 30fps, specially as they learn the limits of the hardware.

They should stop promoting a half truth.

To be honest, I never played it and I probably won't play it at all. I purchased RE3 for RE3, Resistance just happened to tag along.

I hope using Nemesis is fun for those enjoying Resistance, though. =)

Nice touch. Marvel did it before, but I believe replicating a good idea is never a bad thing.

It would be cool if they announced RE1 ReRemake in the new engine as a cross-gen launch title, then RE8 as next-gen only and afterwards RE4 Remake. One can only hope...

I assume that most publishers have a contract with Sony and Microsoft about holding their announcements until PS5 and Xbox are properly announced. So I'll expect some updates on existing games and maybe one or two teasers.

6/10, not so bad considering I only buy digital games for years. I didn't know a few of the games too.

Much like other folks here, I'm thinking about skipping Day 1 as well. I'll definitely buy a PS5, but from everything we know so far about next-gen, which is not much, it's the first time for me that new videogames aren't exciting at all. And to top it all, there's no word about pricing and date, so I have no clue how much I'd need to reserve.

Well, I'll stick to my Switch and PS4 for the time being if this is what next-gen means...

Based on your comments, my hope is that the realistic graphics depicting violence doesn't get so unconfortable to the point I need to take a break from the game every now and then.

Tony Hawk used to mean fun couch co-op time with friends. Hopefully we can have more couch co-op high quality games in PS5.
