GeForce Now Leak

Update: NVIDIA has now responded to yesterday's possible leak of unannounced games, suggesting many that are part of the list aren't real as they're used for "internal tracking and testing" instead. Courtesy of Wccftech, the company's statement reads:

"NVIDIA is aware of an unauthorized published game list, with both released and/or speculative titles, used only for internal tracking and testing. Inclusion on the list is neither confirmation nor an announcement of any game."

"NVIDIA took immediate action to remove access to the list. No confidential game builds or personal information were exposed."


Original story: Okay, you might want to get comfortable for this rumour, because it's a big one. It's all to do with GeForce Now, Nvidia's game streaming service. Basically, someone called Ighor July found a way to open up GeForce Now's database and take a look inside — and it's absolutely stuffed with references to all kinds of unreleased games.

To be clear, the data is real — you can even go and check it out for yourself if you have the know how. This isn't a rumour based on some random social media post.

But here's the thing: there's no guarantee that these games actually exist. Some might be on there purely for testing purposes, while others might be codenamed or even cancelled. As such, we wouldn't recommend taking any of this information at face value — but it's still incredibly interesting stuff.

So, what have we got? Well, where to even begin. The following unannounced games have apparently been spotted or referenced (as catalogued on Reddit):

  • Chrono Cross Remaster
  • Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster
  • Final Fantasy IX Remake (possibly just a reference to the recent remaster)
  • Kingdom Hearts IV
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake (previously rumoured)
  • Street Fighter 6
  • Dragon's Dogma 2 (previously rumoured)
  • Monster Hunter 6
  • Grand Theft Auto Remasters (previously rumoured)
  • BioShock 2022
  • Mirror's Edge Remaster
  • Untitled Respawn Game
  • Titanfall 3
  • Tekken 8
  • The Talos Principle 2
  • Crysis 4
  • Batman Arkham Knight Remaster
  • XCOM 3
  • Injustice 3: Gods Will Fall
  • Destroy All Humans 3
  • Sniper Elite 5
  • Cities: Skylines 2
  • Fight for Middle-Earth
  • Mortal Kombat XII
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Remaster (recently debunked by Activision)

The database also mentions numerous Sony-published titles, potentially suggesting that more of PlayStation's first-party games are heading to PC at some point.

This specific list includes:

  • God of War (2018)
  • Horizon Forbidden West
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Returnal
  • Demon's Souls
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure
  • Ghost of Tsushima

Again, we should stress that all of this information has supposedly been pulled from GeForce Now's servers, and that some of it could quite easily be misinterpreted. What's more, this leak is ongoing — people are still digging through whatever they can find.
