Nice! I hope it releases this year or early next year.

Nostalgia hits me more with classic Nintendo games, so this sub is not really for me. However, it would be tempting if they included Harry Potter and Looney Tunes games.

Everyone wants the infamous golden egg. To be honest, I hope at least one of these live service games is profitable. Imagine what PlayStation Studios could come up with (single player games) if they had Microsoft's pockets (which could happen if they had a profitable live service game).

It's a huge game, take your time CDPR.

On the other hand, I think publishers should start thinking about producing new smallers games with higher frequency between the releases of these huge experiences.

This is going to look amazing. Something we can all agree on is that KH3 had great graphics.

I hope UE5 enables 60fps gameplay on PS5, though. Kingdom Hearts feels much better in 60fps.

@get2sammyb I think you already know the answer to that question, haha. You can play and enjoy the game, in particular the individual worlds, but the story arc won't have much impact given you're not following the story. It's like skipping straight to the final arc of an anime.

I'd still recommend it if you're interested. It's a fun game either way. And if you like it, you can always expand your understanding of the story later. Also, KH4 shall start a brand new arc in the series, which means that if you like the gameplay of KH3, you can invest on the story starting with 4.

And the hype starts! This is looking awesome!

I hope Nomura doesn't add yet more story to boring Android games without replicating it to the numbered entries through cutscenes...

Edit: This comment section is making me sad. I'm a fan of the series, and I really enjoyed KH3. The story in the series is confusing, sure, mostly due to how spread out it is between games and platforms, but really no more confusing than most animes. Classic good vs evil / light vs darkness stuff, with some crazy concepts in the middle for fun. You can't seriously play a game where Final Fantasy meets Donald Duck and Goofy and expect it to be a masterpiece of literature, you know.

I don't particularly trust Rockstar to make a proper remake, which is funny because I used to think their games were the most technically ambitious in the industry.

Max Payne sounds interesting though. Is it that game with they guy leaving a hospital? I remember my cousin playing it.

How come PS1's Harry Potter games were not mentioned? I'd upgrade my sub for those.

There were some great Looney Tunes games on PS1 too.

Pretty sure Microsoft is losing money on first-party games in order to increase number of subs. Eventually when it stabilizes they'll reassess the price of the subs to be profitable.

Sony is not wrong here, they're protecting their business. They could drop the price of new releases, though, but that's a different discussion.

I often play games after everyone else instead of at launch. If Sony keeps pushing blockbusters to this service after a year or something, I'm in!

In terms of tiers, I don't see the value on the Premium tier, to be honest. Why pay more to access older games on the cloud when a lower tier gives you access to recent modern games on their latest generations?

Don't worry, they're likely building a series here. Eventually we're gonna get some kind of Quidditch live service game.

They made some really bad choices on this game. Non-cosmetic microtransactions, forcing players to pay or do endless grinding, and this terrible always-online requirement (did everyone forget about Xbox One launch?). Surely they noticed their game is structured like a freemium mobile game.

Do you even need to ask? I would already buy it day 1 before seeing how insanely great it looks. Great work on this game, they really embraced the wizarding world.

My single concern is that it's trying too many things at once, and the only game I've played that managed to be successful at everything it offered is the new God of War. I hope it delivers, but I'm sure it'll be at least fun and good looking. =)

Still can't believe this is made by Capcom. They were on a roll with so many excellent games. Such a generic looking shooter.

So, Microsoft gets Call of Duty and Sony gets a new Halo-like IP? Great move to ensure we have great FPS games on PlayStation.

I do hope they keep their hands off Square Enix, Capcom and Ubisoft, though, both Sony and Microsoft.

@KundaliniRising333 Yes, but also about the concept of the game. All fans have imagined a game like this based on Harry Potter's universe for years, that's where the excitement comes from.

That, and if you played Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on PS1, it's been a long wait for a great Harry Potter game.

What a weird and funny trailer. I enjoyed the demo, so I'll definitely buy this one, although not day 1.

@Shepherd_Tallon I'd rather have Square as a third-party, to be honest. They make some amazing games tailored specific to each platform.

On the plus side, with Activision gone there's a huge gap in the industry now for indies to take over. That and PlayStation might put some money into a new FPS franchise if Call of Duty becomes exclusive.

This is insane. Should this even be allowed by law? They're building a monopoly with two of the biggest companies in gaming... What's next? Square Enix? Ubisoft? EA Sports? Seriously, Microsoft, work on your own talents and stop keeping people from playing third-party games.

Btw, as far as Crash, Spyro and Tony Hawk goes, I fully expect the employees to pull a Rare move and leave the company to create their own in a few years.

10-20 or less, depending on the game. Anything more than that and there's a big chance that I won't finish it.

There are exceptions, of course, but in general that's how I feel nowadays. Can't put too many hours into gaming anymore (and long games become boring eventually).

Also, I agree with @Uncharted2007 - Assassin's Creed doesn't need hundreds of hours of side content and traversing the map, keep it focused Ubisoft!

Not sure about this, apart from making a good-looking game look better, what can they do to improve it? The game is already brilliant, I wouldn't change anything.

Kinda feels like a waste of resources, really. But who knows? Maybe some trailers can change my mind.

2022 has major releases from multiple publishers coming up, it'll be a busy year. Hopefully Hogwarts Legacy makes it!

Despite all the chaos, I'm looking forward to this game. They should rename it, though, it'll be quite embarassing to answer "What game are you playing?" questions out loud as it is.

They should pretend it's a brand new release once they fix this, and sell it for $ 59.99 on PS5/Xbox from day 1. Assuming they can ever really fix it; they blowed the time to market already.

It would take a lot of work and money to fix these remasters. Not sure if they're willing to put the effort here, since they certainly knew about its state prior to release.

@auditor01 Maybe not a big deal for those who are paid in dollars. Worldwide it's a huge increase - in Brazil it went from R$ 249.99 (already expensive) to R$ 349.99.

Personally, I no longer buy any PlayStation Studios' games at launch anymore, as much as I want to play them. The price is too high for entertainment.

I'll definitely buy once the price is right. The original games are brilliant, but these inconsistent remasters are not worth full price.

Not to mention they're strong candidates for PS Plus in a couple years.

Not sure how I feel about it. PC games are often cheaper than console ones, at least in Brazil; Sony didn't even cut the price on this one. Happy for those who'll play it though, great game to play with kids!

I didn't finish it, felt too slow to me, specially the transitions between levels, but I did enjoy what I played.

Good for PC gamers, not sure for PlayStation. This feels a little like Nintendo releasing Mario Odyssey on PC, God of War is tied to PlayStation since ever. I hope it doesn't impact the brand.

As long as Microsoft don't buy Crystal Dynamics, I'm ok with that. They're too good to become exclusive for one platform (see the Tomb Raider sequel fiasco).

This is my next game after I finish Neo: TWEWY. Looks excellent! It reminds me of playing Harry Potter action adventure games back on PlayStation 1/2.

The real question is what to do with the story after all the Greek and Norse gods are gone. They could ressurrect the Greek gods, I suppose. Have Atreus as the main character, maybe?

Well, to be honest they could really be tests. I work as a developer and we have test users that are basically Marvel characters. Pretty sure Tony Stark and Peter Parker are not our clients.

I have a feeling that Naughty Dog will release only a single game for PS5. Until they find a way to do another leap in ultra-realistic graphics, they won't release anything.

Hopefully it won't be just Last of Us multiplayer.
