Re: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (PS5) - Intergalactic Stunner Puts PS5's Power on Display

QBGaming12

12-20 hours(with 100% everything) is what I'm reading everywhere and that's just fine for this game. Since you know and hope that Insomniac is going to make another game with Ratchet or just Rivet you would think that could be a reason why it's not super long. Ratchet and Clank games have never been super long to begin with.

So I have no problem spending $80 on the deluxe edition for one of my favorite franchises and hopefully the beginning of a great new era of Ratchet, Clank and Rivet.

Re: New Gearbox Game Reveal Planned for Summer Game Fest: Kickoff Live

QBGaming12

@MFTWrecks I'm honestly surprised they didn't make her a DLC character in Borderlands 3 along with Moxxi because it seemed like they were setup for that.

I think you play as her in this game and they change up the formula a bit and you get some fan favorites maybe as characters. Moxxi, Hammerlock, etc.

It's just Tiny Tina can be a lot to handle and if it's called "Wonderlands" you know how crazy Tiny Tina is. It could either be way too much or too less. It will probably come out this summer/fall.

Re: New Gearbox Game Reveal Planned for Summer Game Fest: Kickoff Live

QBGaming12

Tiny Tina getting a game really isn't a surprise. She's one of the most popular characters from Borderlands(doesn't matter how annoying she can be at some times lol) and she should have been playable in Borderlands 3 if they made DLC characters(Moxxi should have been as well).

The real question is how long is the game, is it just her and can we really handle a game with Tiny Tina's sense of humor which half of the time is terrible or too much ll.

Re: Talking Point: Did Sony Lie About PS5?

QBGaming12

I totally don't see the Issue with Sony changing their minds with putting some games on both the PS5 and the PS4. With how many PS4 Owners their are all across the world it would be stupid to hold them back from getting Horizon or GT or any other game that's both PS4 and PS5 until the PS5 can meet demand.

If Covid didn't happen(and other issues) and Sony could make enough PS5's for everyone to have one then that would be a different discussion.

In the meantime Horizon will make way more money being on PS5 and PS4, it will look amazing because Guerilla will definitely push the PS4 to the limit and the PS5 version will be awesome.

I trust Polyphony Digital with GT on both systems because this is the first big GT game in years.

I don't see a issue at all with games being cross generation for a while until the pandemic calms down and we get more PS5's out their. If you can't get a PS5 you can play the game on PS4 and probably get the free upgrade depending on the game.

Good job on Sony for keeping the whole Playstation community involved with their games and making sure a PS4 owner can play the game if they don't have a PS5 and whenever they get one they can upgrade to it too.

I own a PS5 and a PS4 Pro, PS4 and still play games on my Pro. I don't think Sony lied at all. The Pandemic changed a lot.

Re: Samurai Warriors 5 Final Japanese Trailer Is Easily Its Best Yet

QBGaming12

I'm excited for this game even with all the issues(cloned weapons, bad character choice). I just hope they don't mess up the older Nobunaga and Mitsuhide and they setup the next game, which I'm assuming is going to be from Hideyoshi to Sekigahara. Which should be amazing.

The EXILE song doesn't really make the Incident at Honnoji seem to serious lol. It's a catchy song and all but it doesn't fit that well.

It was nice to see each character get a little moment in this trailer and for them to showoff how the weapon switching works. Cloned weapons just kind of sucks to be honest.

Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PS4) - An Enriching, Engrossing, Excellent Trilogy, Now Better Than Ever

QBGaming12

@ShogunRok do you think Mass Effect 3 would have been more enjoyable if they let you use the updated characters from ME2 like the new(and improved Jack), Thane or his son.

I always think that's one of the downsides of ME3 because Jacob and Javik aren't that great. Seeing Jack and Grunt in that game is awesome. Also Aria not being a teammate was a huge misstep.

Re: Marvel's Avengers' Red Room Takeover Prepares You for Black Widow

QBGaming12

The main reason I want to see The Black Widow movie is because it's setting up for Florence Pugh(who is an amazing and beautiful actress) to take Scarlett Johansson's place as Black Widow. Also Scarlett Johansson is amazing and this is her last main Black Widow thing so it should be good.

But that's beside the point, I just can't find any reason why I would buy this game unless it was $10 or free on PS Plus lol.

Re: Housemarque Thanks Sony for Supporting the 'Very Risky' Returnal

QBGaming12

I hope this is the best selling Housemarque game ever and I hope Sony finally buys them by the end of this year. With all of the good reviews I've seen for this game already, it seems like a No-Brainer and it would be great to have Housemarque permanently under the Playstation Studios brand.

Housemarque deserves the backing after all these years and the amazing and creative games that they have done, so come on Sony lol.

Re: Soapbox: I Don't Think Sony's Obsession with PS5 Blockbusters Aligns with Reality

QBGaming12

I feel like Sony honestly has a lot of good stuff in store for us. It all will start with Returnal coming out at the end of this month. I expect that game to review well and even be Housemarque's best selling game.

You then have Ratchet which Sony is going to promote like crazy. Then Kena(Timed Exclusive) Sony will definitely put some muscle behind that.

I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the year we hear about Sony buying Housemarque, Bluepoint and surprisingly Ember Lab depending on how good Kena is.

I expect we will hear about Bluepoint's next game soon, their will be a State of Play for Ratchet, and then a State of Play for updates on Sony's games and possibly some new Announcements, especially with Deathloop being pushed back again.

I have full faith that we will have a exciting year for Sony/Playstation. It's just that it won't start until Returnal comes out.

Re: Reaction: Sony's Storefront Closures Put PS5, PS4 Backwards Compatibility Efforts Back in Focus

QBGaming12

I get that people are a bit mad about them closing the PS3, PS Vita and PSP stores but if you own games digitally or physically you can still play them. And when it comes to backwards compatibility I don't really care to play old PS3 games on my PS4 or PS5.

I get that a lot of people have a few games they want to play on current gen or last gen but do people really care enough to play a old ps1 game on a PS4 or a PS3 game on PS5 unless it has a remake or remaster.

I would rather games get remasters or get put on PS Plus or PS Now for old games.

My PS3 only has some of my favorite games downloaded on it being Hatsune Miku(first game), Kessen 3, Mass Effect 2 and Persona 4, also Yakuza 5 which is hard to play on PS3 because it looks really bad compared to the remaster. I'm perfectly fine with the PS3 store, PSP store and PS Vita store.

We will see old school games eventually through backwards compatibility. I believe in Sony.

Re: Reaction: What Next for PlayStation?

QBGaming12

I think they will ramp things up as we get closer to Returnal. Returnal and Ratchet and Clank will get their own State of Plays. I hope and I assume that they will announce the acquiring of Bluepoint, Housemarque and maybe after Kena sells well, Ember Lab.

Their aren't really any major releases until April/May so the news cycle is just slow. The Ratchet and Clank State of Play will be great. Then don't be surprised if Naughty Dog surprises us with Factions eventually.

Re: Five Nights at Freddy's Was the Most Popular Game from Sony's Latest State of Play Showcase

QBGaming12

The thing is people don't realize how popular Five Night's at Freddy is. Also the fact that this is the most ambitious game every for the series. You actually get to move around and have the animatronics chase you around, which from my knowledge has never happened before. Plus the game looks pretty good. This might be a sleeper hit, plus people are going to stream this like crazy later this year.

Re: Soapbox: The Real Problem with Sony's State of Play Livestreams

QBGaming12

I don't see the issue with the State of Play from yesterday and in general. They provided updates on some games we haven't heard about since June, showed Deathloop because the game is exclusive to their console for a while(and it was a awesome trailer with a nice song). Crash was shown because it's Crash and Playstation.

Some people just have too high opinions on State of Play's. Sony said it would be updates on PS5 and PS4 games and that's what it was. Usually if it's a big State of Play with big games they say it is.

On the Ratchet and Clank front, they can just do a State of Play for that by itself just like they did for Ghost of Tsushima and it will be awesome.

Returnal also deserved to be in this because it's Housemarque and Sony obviously believe in that game, and it looks awesome by the way.

The FF7 thing was awesome in it's own way because they showed Yuffie and the PS5 upgrade.

I don't see any issues with what they showed yesterday except for maybe Knockout City lol.

Oddworld and Five Nights at Freddy's even looked cool. Especially with the PS5 version of Oddworld being free for PS Plus members.

Re: Reaction: Japan Studio's Disbandment Is Disappointing, But Not Surprising

QBGaming12

I get that Japan Studio had a lot of different style of games but they didn't really sell well or get a big enough audience. I love Gravity Rush and would love to see it remade in somehow. Now I wouldn't be surprised if they have other studios work on these games or make new version's of them.

Sony still is a huge supported of Japanese games and studios. Most companies that make games over their do promote them on Playstation or the occasional Switch trailer. I think they will surprise us eventually this year with some new Japanese surprises.

Also when it comes to Studio Acquisitions I believe that Sony will buy Bluepoint, Housemarque and Ember Lab this year. I think if Kena does good they will do it ASAP.

Re: Talking Point: Did Sony's State of Play Livestream Meet Your Expectations?

QBGaming12

I don't get why people were expecting AAA titles. Sony never said that. Solar Ash and Kena look amazing. Returnal is going to be awesome. FF7 looks awesome, and Deathloop looks like a fun time. Oddworld even looks fun and I've never played one of those games.

Sifu was a awesome surprise as well.

The only bad game was Knockout City.

Ratchet will get it's own State of Play before it comes out so their's no worry their.

A good State of Play in my eyes.

Re: ANTHEM's Big Overhaul Has Been Cancelled

QBGaming12

Thanks Goodness. All hands should be on deck for Dragon Age 4. Please Bioware make that game as perfect as you can. Dragon Age Inquisition set up 4 so perfectly. I hope they do this series justice. And release a remaster of 1 and 2 on Next Gen.

Re: Soapbox: There's a Nintendo Direct Today, But I Wish We Had a State of Play to Look Forward To

QBGaming12

I honestly think Sony is waiting to hear more about Kena and other games before they do a new State of Play. I bet we will get a State of Play on Returnal(Returnal already got a mini State of Play), Kena, Ratchet and other games before June. Since Returnal comes out in April, Ratchet in June and Kena supposedly before July, Sony has to be setting up for a big State of Play and maybe some surprises.

Bluepoint Acquisition, Housemarque and maybe one more wouldn't surprise me in the near Future.

Re: Control Fans Bemused by Free PS Plus Version for PS5, PS4

QBGaming12

@get2sammyb I understand where your coming from, but PS Plus games sometimes are games you buy literally a few days earlier. It's just something you have to deal with, especially if Sony is going to come out swinging this year with PS Plus. Which is a good thing for all of us lol.

Re: Control Fans Bemused by Free PS Plus Version for PS5, PS4

QBGaming12

I mean this happens with games that go on sale all the time and then PS Plus, it's nothing to get mad about. You buy the Ultimate Edition when it's on sale and you still get the free upgrade. You get it for PS Plus and save $20-$30. Either way you still get the upgrade.

I waited for Vampyr to be on PS Plus forever(since Life is Strage and Remember Me were) and it was worth the wait. You just have to expect that Sony will surprise you with PS Plus.
