@get2sammyb I wouldn't be surprised if they are working on a Spider Gwen game or Spiderverse game. I could see it being announced next year with the last movie or shortly after.

I think a Spider Gwen game would be badass. If it's the art style of the Spiderverse movies or at least the cool costume(as her starting gear) it would be a hit.

Just curious what art style they would do for it when it comes to Gwen(really like her Spiderverse look) or they do a comic take.

I thought the first one was good. It was more or so updates on games we know about/a partner SOP which they do once a year so I'm always surprised when people are pissed about them. They have to do these every one in a while.

Yotei DLC looks great, Until Dawn 2 is going to he amazing. Also props to Housemarque with the DLC for Sara's because it looks good. GT7 isn't my cup of tea but they work their ass off with the game and I admire that.

Rev Noir and Rhapsody in Scarlett look like they will be a fun time. Rev has that Scarlett Nexus vibe(which needs a sequel) and Scarlett looks like a crazy fun time.

Also a lot of cool demos and games in the Japanese State of Play which I will play and probably enjoy this week. Those games all looked cool.

I'd say 7/10 for me easy. Wasn't expecting it be a big SOP by any chance. Happy with what I saw.

Things I expect.

1. Kena 2 release date.
2. Information about the Ghost of Yotei DLC(Curious to see what historical figures might be in the Sekigahara DLC).
3. Marvel Tokon's next DLC character(Might be the promoter and someone else since she's already in the game but not playable).
4. Maybe a Intergalactic teaser/trailer which would be cool.
5. Little Devil Inside maybe jk, but it would be nice.
6. Infamous Remaster trilogy would be great and I'd play all 3 of them again if the quality is good.
7. Maybe a Astro tease but I can wait till next year lol.

The SOP Japan stream afterwards will be fun too and I'm sure I'll see some games I'll like during it. DW3 Remaster and the new Attack on Titan game for example.

Should be 2 fun streams. Won't have to deal with the No Disc, No Buy comments since I'll have the chat off or be watching on here/Kinda Funny lol

Chained Echoes being on here is awesome. One of the best RPG's of the last 5 years from what I've seen review wise. Finally will give it a shot.

Also Wobbly Life is a good game for kids and if you want to have some fun in a physics based sandbox. Has some good reviews too from what I've seen.

Oh that's cool. Happy that they are doing a stream with Greg and the guys to announce their plans. Kinda Funny always supports studios and stuff and they have a good relationship with Tim.

Hopefully they are making a cool game that's not pottery(I know some people love that game but it's not my jam).

I mean I'm happy they are all in on Intergalactic finally. I know people wanted Factions but I don't believe that game would have lasted more than a few months so the switch to a new IP(which can be a new series potentially for Naughty Dog) is worth more resources.

I fully believe Intergalactic will be a GOTY contender when it comes on next year or 2028. Naughty Dog is going to knock it out of the park, love or hate them.

Hopefully Nishino tells them to focus all in on Horizon 3 because Herman having all of them working on Hunters Gathering is absurd.

I can wait a few years more for Horizon but that should have been the main focus for them the whole time and Hunters Gathering being the "small team" project.

Horizon 3 will be great, we just have to wait longer for it because of Herman which is crazy considering he use to be in charge of the studio. He should know what they should be focusing on.

The good thing about this is that hopefully this is the end of the huge Live Service Push. Let Guerrilla focus on Horizon 3 and eventually a new IP, they don't need to chase a Live Service game.

Just make an amazing ending for Aloy's journey and then move onto something new. We know they have the skills to do it.

Also Sony can make Live Service games here and their as long as they are smart about it, they don't need 10 of them. Just 1 or 2 every few years of actual quality.

Lol people really need to just move on. It was inevitable and it's just happening sooner then people wanted.

People will still play their PS5's/PS4's next week, including me.

I get why people want to do this but they just have to move on eventually.

Definitely excited to play this. Platinumed the game last October so it will be fun to go back and play it.

I am curious how the Battle of Sekigahara is portrayed in the game, with how important that battle was historically and whose side she fought on it could be badass.

I am curious if we see any historical figures aka Ieyasu and Mitsunari etc.

I mean this could totally amount to nothing, or it could just be some ad's on the ps store. Yet I'm sure a lot of people will overreact to this per usual instead of being patient lol.

I highly doubt it will lead to ads in games, but I'm sure people will just jump to that conclusion and get mad for no reason.

I mean the game looks good and it's from a solo developer so I am interested. If it's a decent Fire Emblem/Unicorn Overlord like then I will definitely play it if the price is decent.

I mean Sony is heavily involved in the music and entertainment industry so the fact that they are promoting a new Vinyl turntable makes sense.

It has nothing to do with the physical vs digital debate lol. Just let them promote their products. It actually looks cool(not much into vinyl myself).

The art design and the combat look so fun, super excited to play this next month.

I'm curious if you get to play as the promoter and the champion after you beat them or if they are just straight up DLC.

Love Alanah Peace but I thought she left Santa Monica in 2024 so I'm surprised she's still working on the game.

Her video does explain pretty well about why Sony would stop making disc. Gives a lot of pros and cons and she actually researched it, which a lot of people who talk about this topic don't lol.

I get why people want to keep physical disc as a option but seeing every single post/and constant articles regurgitating the same thing every single day is exhausting. Plus the same comments on every single post lol.

I don't get why people can't just wait to see if Sony has a option for people that want to play physical. They announced this 3 weeks ago and it doesn't take place for a year and a half(They really don't have to talk about it until next year). People just need to be patient, which I know on the internet is almost impossible to do.

I'm sure they see all the comments and stuff, and I'm sure Microsoft is going to go all digital as well and is happy Sony said it first(even if Xbox has a physical option as well which price wise will be interesting). It's just a wait and see.

Everyone knows all digital is the future, we just need it to be fair pricing wise. It's just happening probably 2 years faster than we expected.

This does suck for Ryan Hurst who put on 40 pounds of muscle for this role to look like the Kratos and be able to handle the physical demand of the role but they can't hold off 9 months for him to recover.

With Ronald Moore being the showrunner for this show I think they'll find a very good replacement for Ryan Hurst and the show will turn out good. The man knows how to make great shows.

I always find it funny how people have said this show is DOA from one picture which is crazy. I think it will be good. The casting choices are pretty good and Amazon does a good job with Video game adaptations so far.

Super Excited to play this in September. GOTY contender(even though we know what will probably win GOTY lol).

This is one of the cases this year when the Digital Deluxe Version is the better option for me(I know they have the $10 upgrade for Physical) but all the extra goodies you get with it make it worth it.

The fact that people can't wait for Sony to talk more about the subject which is a year and a half away makes me laugh everyday/roll my eyes.

If they are going to make a disc drive or some alternative I'm guessing that announcement won't be until late this year or sometime next year.

If Sony isn't going to do a separate disc drive and the next system is just digital then that's just going to be how it is. Helix will do the same(even if they have a disc drive separately) We all knew the all digital systems were coming at some point, it's just going to be a few years early/next gen.

They had to know the outrage that this would cause(which I bet Xbox is happy Sony talked about it first). If they are doing a disc drive option or something I'm sure they'll mention it by 2028.

No need to bombard every single post for every single game that Playstation posts about and every single Playstation Access post. We all knew the all digital systems were coming, people will just have to get use to it.

I will miss good sales on games on Amazon etc(which I think will still happen somehow) and I hope Sony actually does better pricing on their store but it's all a wait and see. A year and a half is a long time.

Wait a few months or till next year and I'm sure they'll provide more info about the whole situation. They don't have to talk about it now, even though I think they should have said something more in the announcement("Something Like we might provide ulterior motives down the line for physical games").

I don't mind things going all digital. I am worried about how games going on sale will work once everything is all digital(because Xbox is going to go all digital too probably) but I knew and we all knew all digital was coming in the next few years anyways.

I do hope they have a disc drive you can buy to play your disc but we will see because I'm sure the price will be interesting, and so will Xbox's if they make one too.

@Oram77 With how much Vanillaware puts into their games budget wise it wasn't too surprising to me about the DLC but they did make the budget back and it sold well which I was extremely happy about. Hopefully the next game they make is awesome as usual.

I did enjoy the wedding ceremony and picked Rosalinde in my one play through. Tough to pick between the Dark Elf(Rosalinde) and her twin sister Etolinde.

@Oram77 Loved it and got the Platinum on it. I had the same issue with the ending, if you build your teams up you be unstoppable because it's not that hard.

I do wish the game had New game plus or more depth/endings.

I do think Sony should talk more here and there but people should also be patient and see if they have any plans for people that want disc for the next generation.

@PanFriedSoup Oh I know. They might buy physical half and half with digital. If your super mad about the the future becoming all digital(which we knew was going to happen) you have to be a all physical person with no digital games. If you have a good amount of digital games then you have helped this change happen.

I hope the people that lost their jobs find work quickly because this sucks. The one silver lining is that the gaming studios aren't being closed but I do wonder who partners/buys the studios.

Double Fine and Ninja Theory make unique games but I wouldn't say they are big money earners, same with Compulsion.

Undead Labs I don't know enough about so I can't really make a comment about them.

I could see Sony looking at Ninja Theory for a partnership like back in the day or Double Fine. Would be a nice change to their catalog of games.

@Oram77 Yeah the amount of articles talking about "We need a response now" when they just announced it yesterday and it doesn't take place until 2028 are overboard.

People saying "I'm done with Playstation", or "I'm not buying games on the system anymore" will still play games and buy games on the system once they get over it. Especially if they make a disc drive when this whole process happens, if they don't it is what it is.

I will miss good sales on games though but we will see in a year and a half how all of this happens.

If the PS6 is digital only, Helix digital only and then eventually the Switch will join them. This is all expected to happen so people just have to deal with it. The rage will be everywhere for a few weeks and when the layoffs happen at Microsoft next week that will be what everyone is talking about.

This game looks amazing. I do hope they do a route when you join Eren.

Also would love to play as some of the titans in some moments since you always get allies and stuff during battles.

Loved the first 2 games, haven't played Final Battle yet but with this game supposedly going to cover the whole series I think I can wait till AO3 comes out.

I know it sucks to not be able to collect games, get better sales on games(which I'll miss mainly) but this was going to happen no matter what. People just have to accept it and move on.

Times are changing and digital will be the way too go, which I think will suck for those of us who like to get good sales on games(me included) but hopefully we get better sales on games in the future when everything is digital.

I do wonder how amazon and other retailers will handle digital codes for games and sales on the games but this a year and a half out so they have time to figure it out.

Also people can say they won't buy games from Playstation/Microsoft or Nintendo if they decide to go digital only but eventually you won't have a choice if your a fan of certain games when they come out.

Yotei being at probably 5 million copies sold since October is insanely good for Sucker Punch. That puts it on par with Tsushima selling 5 million in it's first 4 months albeit a few months longer.

I'm glad that Yotei was a success and will probably reach 10 million copies by the middle or end of next year especially if they make a DLC Expansion like Ikki Island. My GOTY of last year.

I think Saros will turn a profit eventually. Returnal took a long time and Saros will too because they are both niche quality games. I'm sure Sony is in the long haul with Saros and the eventual DLC it probably gets(Multi-Player etc).

I definitely don't see where the hate is coming from for this game.

Faye looks like a badass, the combat looks awesome. The new gods(the few they've showed us so far) look amazing.

This game screams GOTY contender next year.

Also I'm surprised people aren't thinking that the cube could potentially be some god or something trapped in that form which would be a awesome reveal, or something tragic will happen to Phranque which will set Fay off on a rampage. Jack Quaid is going to knock that role out of the park anyways.

Also I will never understand why people have a issue with a female led game with a badass/tough woman taking charge. Kratos isn't going anywhere, and if anything this game will show people why Kratos fell in love with the woman in this first place.

Super Excited for this game and can't wait to see more about it probably at the VGA's.

If it is Fairgames I definitely think this is Sony saying "We will rebrand it and release it and then we are done with the Live Service Push".

Fairgames is literally the only Live service game left from that initial Live Service Push so I'm sure they want to just get it out and be done with it, which I'm actually ok with.

Get it out and move on to the games we actually want lol.

I think Housemarque will be totally fine. Saros has been received well and it will hit it's sales targets just fine.

It's a niche game just like Returnal was and Returnal took a min to sell a decent amount of copies. I'm sure Saros will do the same.

I think Sony actually appreciates how unique Hoursemarque games are for their portfolio and doesn't expect Horizon or Ghost level sales. The game will do just fine and it probably gets the multiplayer DLC down the line like Returnal did.

I always like when the first party studios do these since they all look cool. My top two are Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog, with Insomniac right behind.

Atsu and Arjun would be a chill/dangerous pairing.

Then Ratchet looks like he's having fun lol. Makes me want to see a Returnal/Saros Ratchet and Clank level which would be interesting.

Then in a few years we get that first TLOU3 trailer that we all know is coming and it will be a amazing way to close out the series before they move onto another new IP along with Intergalactic(assuming that's going to be a series).

I'd rather Naughty Dog focus on top quality Single Player games and New IP then have to put a ton of resources into a Live Service game that might only hit for a few months and then be a waste and put more stress on the studio.

Also the gacha elements being generous is a good thing. I hope it stays that well. ZZZ is trying to better the gacha elements a bit so I hope this encourages them to do better.

Definitely one of my most anticipated games of the year and will probably be a GOTY contender since Insomniac always delivers.

Insomniac is probably working on other games like a new Ratchet and Clank and Rivet(which I can't wait for) and maybe a new IP but people have to realize that the Marvel games bring in a lot of money and Insomniac is amazing at them so far.

Spider Man 3/Miles Morales will be badass too whenever they reveal it, I'm still hoping for the Venom game but can totally understand if it doesn't happen given the sad passing of Tony Todd.

I get that people want them to do Resistance still but there is a reason why they stopped making those games, and I definitely enjoyed them. I'd rather Killzone come back because the Helghast are more iconic then the Chimera.

People having Superhero fatigue is just their preference but that doesn't mean Insomniac should stop making the Marvel games, especially if it's the most popular Marvel character which is Spider-Man(My favorite) and one of the most badass superhero's in Wolverine. I also think that they have another Marvel game in the pipeline with someone else as well.

I'd love a remake of the Ezio games. Brotherhood was one of the most fun AC Games I've played. Having your Assassin's help you out and fight with you was always fun.

Syndicate would be great too. Evie is probably one of the most badass protagonist in a AC game that people don't really talk about.

I do always find it funny how people say the game looks terrible from the one CGI trailer. Yes it did look generic as hell but I'd still wait to see a legit trailer of gameplay.

I do think the game will last like a few weeks and that's it though, and then Sony will be done really with the live service stuff outside of the Horizon game.

They are definitely going to be busy with Sony for the next few years. They are also doing a animated Venom movie which should be badass.
