Re: God of War TV Casting Spree Continues with Modi, Magni, Gna, and Thrud Actors

QBGaming12

It's crazy how some people have already given up on this show after one pic lol. The cast is good so far and with people who are directing and producing the show it will probably turn out good.

Just have to give them the time to work on it and I assume the trailer might be at the VGA's this year or dropped at some point early next year before the first season.

Ronald Moore and Roy Lee together working on this is one hell of a combination, also Cory Barlog working on it too is awesome.

Re: Opinion: If Sony's Doubling Down on Its Most Popular Franchises, Where's Uncharted?

QBGaming12

I definitely believe they are working on another Uncharted game. Whether it's Cassie as the lead(which would be a refreshing and cool take) or Chole(who is a badass) I think Sony has a Studio working on it and we will probably see it revealed in the next year or so.

Have it announced before we see info about the New movie. Just makes way too much sense. Nathan's story is over but his daughter can start her own thing or Chloe can have another cool adventure.

Re: Here's Your First Look at the God of War TV Show

QBGaming12

It's crazy how people can say a show is going to be completely awful by one pic lol.

Give Amazon time. I mean this show is probably a year plus away, and they do make good shows. Plus some of the people directing and running the show are top tier.

Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer of God of War. Additional executive producers include Maril Davis, Cory Barlog, Naren Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Qizilbash, Jeff Ketcham, Hermen Hulst, Roy Lee, and Brad Van Arragon. Emmy Award-winning director Frederick E.O. Toye (Shōgun, Fallout) will direct the series’ first two episodes.

So I think the show will be fine. Also Callum Vinson did comment on the post saying he will bring honor to the role of Atreus so give the kid a chance.

Re: Sony Makes Shocking Decision to Shut Down Bluepoint Games

QBGaming12

@AdamNovice You have to wonder if that's the issue. The game got canceled last January so I'm sure they were working with Bluepoint on another idea for a game. Maybe trying to make them a studio with their own IP vs just a remake studio.

I do wonder if they were going to have them do a remake and they weren't willing to wait 3-4 more years and bleed money waiting for them to make another game.

Or Bluepoint didn't want to do remakes anymore and that could have led to this as well.

Re: Sony Makes Shocking Decision to Shut Down Bluepoint Games

QBGaming12

This is a shock but the liveservice push is what killed Bluepoint. That God of War multiplayer game getting canceled and then Bluepoint being mainly remake/remaster studio kind of put them in a bind.

I kind of wish they just put them on Bloodborne or something else. I hope the whole team lands of their feet somewhere else.

This is all Herman's fault though and I'm sure that Nishino won't make a mistake like that

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate State of Play for February 2026?

QBGaming12

That was easily the best State of Play ever. Start with Kena and end with the two God of War announcements. Good form start to finish.

Also that new Jrpg by Konami looked pretty good, sleeper hit in the State of Play. Also the game from Krafton with the chicken warrior looked badass.

Tokon looked awesome(Magick looked badass and so did Wolverine), Control looked cool, Saros looked awesome and Ghost of Yotei Legends. Also shoutout to Darwin Paradox, that game looks fun.

Re: Amazon's God of War TV Series Casts Its Kratos, Story Setup Revealed

QBGaming12

Ryan Hurst is a great choice for Kratos. He can play the big tough guy while also showing emotion during softer moments.

Just watch him as Opie in Sons of Anarchy. He was one of the best parts of that show which is considered one of the best biker/action crime shows of the mid 2000's. Charlie Hunnam was the lead in the show as well.

Ryan can definitely handle Kratos and this might be his breakout performance to be honest. He's also in the Odyssey(which has everyone in it lol).

Re: Sony Roasted for Promoting 'Temu Resident Evil' Ebola Village for PS5, PS4

QBGaming12

It's kind of funny that people are just now complaining about this game. This studio has made now 3 games in the Ebola series(maybe 4). They've been around for years.

The game is obviously a ripoff of Resident Evil but some people like how it's old school Resi and janky. Even the scores on Steam are decent. It definitely is old school survival horror.

Re: Hogwarts Legacy, Mortal Kombat Publisher Warner Bros Bought for $82 Billion by Netflix

QBGaming12

Should be interesting down the line. Netflix did say that they'll keep HBO MAX as it's own service and WB Movies will be in theaters for a few years(WB had a deal with theaters until 2029 anyways).

The real question is if the government allows the deal to go through(if they don't then Netlfix has to pay WB 5.8 Billion). I know the entertainment and movie industry is afraid of what will happen with this deal and rightfully so because if all the movies come to streaming only eventually that would be bad.

I'm curious what they do with the games side of WB or do they let them keep running as they have been or will they take a bit of direct oversight to make sure games like Suicide Squad don't happen again.

Re: Ghost of Yotei Sales Fall Off In Japan, But PS5 Exclusive Still Sticks Around in Second Place

QBGaming12

I mean I saw a article the other day about the game selling 1.6 million copies in the first few days. Recouping the cost of the game and turning a profit already, so the game is a hit for Sucker Punch and Sony as it should be.

Probably my GOTY this year and I've only beaten two of the Yotei Six, working on Number 3. Props to Sucker Punch and Erika Ishii who played Atsu as well.

Re: Baby Steps (PS5) - A Rewarding, Surrealist Odyssey for Those Willing to Fail

QBGaming12

I mean the game is getting good reviews, medium reviews and a few bad reviews. It seems to be a fun yet difficult time and the humor is hit or miss. If you like this type of game you should give it a try, and if you don't it definitely won't change your mind.

A Unique/Divisive game that can be a fun or bad time lol.

Also Mike on Kinda Funny did a good live review of it on Kinda Funny Games Daily talking about it if people want to check that out.

Re: Ghost of Yotei Gets Yet Another Trailer, This Time Showcasing PS5 Features

QBGaming12

Probably going to be my game of the year. All of the trailers showing off the new weapons make sense because they will make the combat look different.

Personally I don't see where all hate or disinterest that people have for this game is coming from. If it's a better improved version of Ghost of Tsushima that has better combat, story and mission's/mechanics that's a huge win. Also I assume it will do very well for Sucker Punch and their next game might be another Ghost game or something new.

Re: 'It Saved the Game': Sword of the Sea Dev Praises Sony, Explains PS Plus Deal

QBGaming12

Sword of the Sea was probably one of the most beautiful games I've seen this year and also a chill time. The ending fight was awesome and the following ending was somber yet a good ending.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony buys Giant Squid because if they are having issues like this it might make sense. They make niche games but almost every game they make is a good time too.

Would love to see Sony get/partner with Vanillaware as well.

Re: 8 PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for September 2025 Announced

QBGaming12

Actually a pretty decent month. Might finally play a new WWE game after all these years even though they are so different from what I'm used too back in the day now.

I still don't see how people are surprised Sony isn't doing much for the Premium part of the subscription. I have always thought they just do the classic games just because enough people have wanted/complained about not being able to play them on Modern Consoles but they still don't care enough about releasing a lot of them because they want people to play current/recent games and not old ones.

I do like playing classic games here and there(Rogue Galaxy, Kessen III and Battlefront 2 which are some of my favorite games ever and I play on PS3/PS5) but the Classic part of PS Plus has always just seemed like a add on they will never support enough to make it worth it.

Re: Official Ghost of Yotei Popcorn Bucket Triggers Tedious Takes on PS5 Exclusives

QBGaming12

I don't get what the issue is with the Popcorn bucket since it's a partnership with a movie theater dealing with classic Samurai movies that helped influence Ghost?

Also Alamo Drafthouses are awesome so this isn't much of a story.

Ghost of Yotei will be a GOTY contender and I'm sure Sucker Punch will show more of the story later on, I mean they have little over 2 months until the game comes out. I'm pretty sure the story is going to be a big improvement on Ghost(I did like the story in the first one). Story and Gameplay can form a good mix, having a big game with a terrible story is never a fun time.

People really can complain about everything lol.

Re: Sucker Punch Would 'Love' an inFAMOUS Trilogy on PS5

QBGaming12

I love the Infamous series and would really like a remaster of the first two games on PS5. Loved Second Son and First Light(Fetch was one of the best characters in the series in general).

I do hope Sony lets one of their teams remaster the first two games and maybe update Second Son/First Light. Then if they do well they could make a new Infamous, or just make a new Infamous in general.

The series deserves to come back with some updates/quality of life upgrades, also please add the Origami powers to Second Son lol.

Re: Cory Barlog Busy on Sony Santa Monica's 'Next Big Thing'

QBGaming12

I'm excited for whatever Cory is working on, just let him cook and show a trailer(or teaser) whenever the game is ready. The guy definitely deserves all the time needed, he's definitely earned it.

Plus the guy always seems super chill unless when he got stressed out during God of War which is understandable.

Re: Blackpink's Lisa Is the New Global Face of PlayStation

QBGaming12

Props to Lisa and Sony for the collaboration. I am a fan of her music, the girl is a badass. All of the members of Blackpink are talented. Rose, Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo. They all genuinely seem like fun/nice women from the videos I've seen.

Even if you don't follow K-pop(which I don't). You've either heard of one of them or seen/heard them in a song with someone you like. Plus their all over social media doing random stuff. Part of one of the biggest k-pop groups/groups in general in world right now.

Also 4 beautiful women by the way.

Re: Preview: Borderlands 4 Leans into All Its Best, Familiar Strengths on PS5

QBGaming12

I'm definitely going to be a Vex user, I usually go with the summoner class(Gaige being the best Vault Hunter) and her summons look cool(Plus she looks badass).

I do hope the Villain is good in this game because the twins in BL3 turned me off that game midway through.

Also if you haven't played Tiny Tina's Wonderlands you should give it a shot(BL2 and Wonderlands are the best Borderlands games in my opinion). That game was fun and Tina's story with Roland was adorable yet sad at the same time.

Re: Site News: Where's Our MindsEye PS5 Review?

QBGaming12

I wonder if most reviewers are waiting to play this after the Day one patch comes out today because that patch is supposed to fix a ton of issues and be the ideal version of the game that should have shipped out. That would make sense and allow for a better review than a buggy review.

Also the game is only supposed to maybe be 20 hours so it shouldn't be that long of a review period hopefully.
