NBA2k is a juggernaut every year so it's no surprise.

@IOI I mean it coming second to 2K is a good thing. NBA 2K is usually one of the biggest games of the year so it was always going to be a tough game to beat.

Astro Bot coming in second is a huge success. Going up against NBA 2K25 was always going to be a tough game to beat, especially in the US.

Love Astro Bot and can't wait to see what Team Asobi do next.

This looks awesome. I've been waiting for them to develop Lucy and Piper's group. Their low key some of the best characters.

I need to get back into ZZZ before this update comes out.

The memes are funny. The console will still sell out in a few weeks. We all know it. The Price is just a bit ridiculous.

Sounds like a Black Friday game to me. As most people know Ubisoft loves to put their games half off after a month or two so I have no problem waiting. Especially for bugfixes etc.

Astro is next week and then Warhammer the week after so that's definitely enough for me.

@KidRisky Fatal Bullet and Lost Song are usually said to be two of the best ones. I myself own them but haven't tried them yet, need to give them a try at some point.

That was a better trailer. Just need to see some combat videos/Companion info to sell me on it.

Morrigan looks interesting, I'm curious if we see her son in this game or if they just totally got rid of that kind of important plot point.

Also Harding using magic is awesome.

A pretty Unique/Diverse list. Love the Witcher although I already own it, and Cult of the Lamb is a amazing get. Watch Dogs 2 I do need to play at some point lol, I've started it twice.

I assume all of the SAO games are because they have a new one coming out this year so why not give everyone a chance to play one of the games before then.

I own Hollow Realization and Lost Song, along with Fatal Bullet(a lot of people say Song and Bullet are the best two). So hopefully I'll finally play one of them, I do like SAO.

@get2sammyb Qingyi looks cool too. Her personality is almost similar to Ellen which is great. Jane does look cool to use as well.

Seth seems ok, at least better than Ben(speed wise).

I do hope that this game turns out well since I love Dragon Age. I do wish EA would do a collection of the first 3 games at some point since it would make a lot of sense.

I do worry that the combat might get repetitive since you can't switch characters in this game, which to me is kind of a shocking choice. You can switch characters in the first 3 games , don't know why they would take it out now.

Crisis Core(Beat the PSP Version), Pathfinder and Bannerlord(Huge Time Sinks but great games) are games I've wanted to try for ages/play again(Crisis Core).

Remnant and No More Heroes I might give a shot. This is actually a good month for Extra and Premium it seems.

Don't see why people always have to complain. Unless you don't like RPG's their are some good games this month. Good games in general.

With this only being a fraction of the games on the list for this month is impressive. Obviously people will complain for no reason lol, but I'd give most of these games a try. Good list so far.

Also when it comes to ps2/psp games not really concerned. Not a huge fan of playing that era of games(outside of a few) on a PS5 when their too dated. Glad Sony is doing it but you can kind of tell it's at the bottom of their list of worries.

Can't really judge it until the beta. The game is getting hate for no reason besides it being a Hero Shooter. I actually like the design of some of the characters(Robot, and the female Mage/Archer) so I'm excited to play the beta.

Yeah I figured you were, just wish Koei would do better with sales of their spin-offs(I thought this game came out two years ago, not four).

I am a fan of the anime as well slightly(tried to watch it but fell off quick). I always thought this game would be more talked about if it were a musou style. The first game being a RPG kind of didn't work.

@CWill97 Yeah when it comes to their spin-off games their not too good about lowering the price that often. I still want to try Fate Samurai Remnant as well but have the same issue there.

@naruball I mean for me and given that this game is 4 years old/Koei never promoted it I feel like it should have been at least $20 by now(once). Considering that they do that for the Atelier Games and DW/SW Games.

I'd love to play the first game but Koei Tecmo never drops the price for it. It's been $60 for years. Hopefully it gets a big sale before this comes out.

@Cloud39472 I'm still surprised they haven't announced a Legendary Collection yet. I've been asking about that for over a year now lol.

I didn't know that you can't play as your companions in this game. I am a fan of being able to switch to your teammates during battle(like you could in the first 3 games). So I wonder what people will think of that.

The combat looked ok, have to see how the other classes play and how the skills look on a upgraded player.

The voice acting outside of Varric and Harding was a mixed bag. Solas seemed a bit off voice wise but I hope it's the same voice actor from Inquisition.

Surprised we didn't get a release date but I hope it does hit the Fall 2024 release time frame.

The combat looked ok, and the new art style is going to take some getting use too. Harding's new look is definitely going to take some getting use too. I do hope the combat doesn't get too repetitive.

Solas having a new VA was brutal to hear. His old voice actor was perfect at least in my opinion.

The voice acting besides Varric seemed a bit off. Harding sounded good but it just felt a bit off. Neve seemed cool and her design is interesting. The VA seemed interesting.

They should have shown this first instead of that bad trailer at the Xbox Showcase lol.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this game but I hope the gameplay looks cool. I'm also still holding out hope for a Collection announcement which would be great, especially if the game isn't coming out this year.

Also being in the chat for the Gameplay reveal stream and people calling this game Dave is pretty funny.

The Space combat looked fun and the gunplay looked cool. Kind of want to see a more in depth video of the combat. I'm definitely going to play this in August right before Astro Bot.

The combat in this game seems off for some reason. Yasuke's combat looked a bit bland. Naoe looks like she's going to be cool to use(As was Evie better than Jacob in Syndicate).

I hope they tighten up the combat but I feel like Yasuke's size made the sword combat look bad. Naoe looked a bit more fluid but I hope they tighten it up.

The Voice acting was kind of off too but it will probably grow on me.

@QualityGeezer I hope they do it justice. I also am curious if we'll even recognize Solas with this new look.

Yeah that new art style isn't doing it for me. I hope they don't butcher the story that Solas set up in Inquisition. I honestly thought it was a fortnite update trailer until I saw the Warden character.

I hope the gameplay and deep dive reveal on Tuesday will change my mind but that first trailer was bad for me.

@AdamNovice and @UltimateOtaku91, and @Medic_alert finally some people on here who aren't super negative on this game after just one trailer lol.

Now that we know how much content the game has at launch and it's only $40 makes me think it might be worth it. People should wait until the Beta to play it and then judge.

@rustyduck true lol. Depending on how you level him up he basically becomes a one man killing machine in the game no matter what, that can either deal a ton of damage or deal damage/help you.

Excited to see what the classes are. I usually go for the class that has a support character with it.

Gaige from Borderlands 2 is still the best character in my opinion, along with Deathtrap lol.

I'm curious how this game looks. Should be pretty fun considering how Lego games usually are.

I'm super excited to see this next week and hope we get a release date.

I also hope that Bioware announces a Collection of the first 3 games so that people can play them all together before this final game. Inquisition is a must for Veilguard especially.

Everybody is so quick to judge this game after one trailer. Give the beta a chance and see how the game plays then you can judge it.

While it's not something new(as of yet), some of the characters look cool at least and the gunplay looks like it should be tight.

I'm interested in playing the beta next month and it being $40 isn't bad either if the beta turns out to be good.

I would love for EA to show Dreadwolf like they should, and finally announce a Collection of the first 3 games(with all of the DLC included/Expansion) so that everyone can finally play a semi updated Dragon Age 1/2 on Next gen consoles(Outside of the fact that you can play them on EA Play/Gamepass).

Would like to see a surprise or two from Sony and maybe some cool indies, also Astro Bot again would be great since the pre-order date is the day of SGF.

Also I hope that SGF isn't a slog like it usually is and it's not 3 hours.

Koei Tecmo is finally making a Next Gen Warriors game and I hope they do the same for Samurai Warriors after this. They decided to to a remake of the SW series a few years ago so I assume that this game is a complete remake of the Dynasty Warrior franchise.

I do wonder if it's just one character you play as or if you join a specific Kingdom and do missions for the Hero's/Villains of the era. As a huge Warriors fan I'm interested to see what this game actually is.

I'm excited to see what game Neil and Naughty Dog come up with. I also can't be the only want that wants to see a Savage Starlight game right? I think a game in that world would he a cool side project for them to tackle if they have the resources/time.

I'd say that Stellar Blade being in the top 5 in the US and Europe(On the PS Store) is actually awesome for the game. Given the type of game it is(action/soulslike) and the audience that it's for/geared towards is pretty good. I'm finally going to start playing it this week which I'm excited about.

Shift Up did a great job with their first console game and I can't wait to see what they do next, and hopefully Playstation partners with them again because it just makes too much sense given how much they promoted Stellar Blade. Almost like it was a first party game.

I'm curious to see how many copies it sold once the Circana report comes out.

@HonestHick Great games(even 2 which some people don't like, to me it's good game and great in some spots). The story/lore for the series is great too.

Inquisition is one of my favorite PS4 games ever so I'd gladly play it again if it was in a collection.

@HonestHick Yeah if you have a chance/time to play them it's worth it. I feel like a collection would make a lot of since for EA since Dragon Age 1 and 2 didn't get any enhancements and putting all 3 games together with all of that DLC that they have would make it well worth the $60(Same as Mass Effect Legendary Collection).

As a huge fan of the series and Dragon Age Inquisition being one of my most played games on PS4(beat it 3 times, working on a 4th). This has been one my most anticipated games since the ending of Inquisition. Can't wait to see how they do the whole story with Solas.

Kind of hope EA announces a Legendary Collection like they did for Mass Effect because having Dragon Age 1 and 2 and Inquisition together in a Collection(with all of the DLC) on next gen would be great before 4 comes out.

@colonelkilgore if you don't want to play Inquisition I'd at least look up a video describing the story since a character from Inquisition is a main part of Dreadwolf.

@get2sammyb I figured the story mode would be helpful and still provide a challenge so that's good news. Thanks for the response, so I'll have to give the game a try.

@breakneck yeah I tried the demo and it wasn't that bad on normal(haven't finished yet). I'll probably rent Stellar Blade and give it a try. Thanks for the nice response and hope you have fun playing it.

@get2sammyb Thanks for the great review. For the combat difficulty would you say it's more God of War level or a Soulslike. I'm asking as a person who isn't a fan of playing Soulslike's(but respects how good the games are).

@get2sammyb OK thanks for responding. That means I'll give it a try. I was hoping it wasn't a soulslike so it seems to me that is isn't. Which is a bonus for me.

@get2sammyb Hey Sammy. I know you mention it in the article but would you compare the game to a Soulslike or God of War when it comes to the combat. As a guy who isn't into Soulslike games that's been my one worry with Stellar Blade(combat and difficulty). God of War is more my cup of tea when comparing the two.

Stellar Blade looked amazing, Rise of the Ronin looked good(graphics seem a bit dated but it is Koei Tecmo so that sometimes is to be expected), Death Stranding 2 looked amazing yet crazy at the same time. The Silent Hill games looked interesting(never played a Silent Hill game before) have to give the free one a try today. V Rising and the Metro VR game look cool. Dragon's Dogma and Sonic looked cool as well.

Also Zenless Zone Zero finally being announced for PS5 is great news, and I'm happy they showed Helldivers and Foamstars. Can't wait to play those two games this month(mainly Foamstars for now).

Judas is the game I want to see more of, as a huge Bioshock fan I can't wait to see the story and the mechanics of that game. It looks amazing.

Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin info is going to be amazing, excited/interested in both of those games. Hopefully maybe some Judas info and maybe Little Devil Inside? Final Fantasy Rebirth will probably be in their and Granblue Fantasy Relink will probably get it's trailer in their(as it should).

Should be a good State of Play with a game for everyone, not expecting a bunch of First Party stuff. I don't think anybody should be thinking about that.

@ShogunRok do you think their is potential for them to add the team battle for Tekken 8 down the line as DLC/a free update? I feel like it would make sense if they are going to have this game around for as long as Tekken 7. That mode was amazing in Tekken Tag Tournament.
