Yeah I wanted to buy Armor King as soon as I saw him and he plays badass as hell. Other character looks cool, but like the article said, it looks like Armor King might just overshadow her.
@PuppetMaster "But force to scavengin just for the sake of searching the same weapons because my current ones will be broken after landed a couple of hits is just stupid"
Your opinion isn't making sense here to me other than it's "wasting your time" which can also be said for games like Resident Evil. Once again you have to do this as well for every survival horror game, you lose ammo, you gotta search for ammo because you wasted ammo just like melee weapons with durability. Games with melee weapons can also lead to good rewards, like was stated in some of the previews there are upgrades to your character, toolkits to save your main melee weapon and there will more than likely be stronger melee weapons to find.
@PuppetMaster Yeah, scavenging, managing your resources, and exploring, that sounds like every survival horror to me dude. It just simply doesn't sound like it's your thing.
@PuppetMaster I love weapon durability in games so this is right up my alley. Also SH4 had weapon durability for a very specific weapon among a variety of other melee weapons that didn't. Although I thought it would follow in the footsteps of Downpour where you search for multiple weapons and stockpile them. Don't really understand the complaint though, it's a survival horror game and it also works the same way any game with guns and ammo would.
@Hylian-Likely They made it way too accessible imo leading to fights becoming too easy. There are 8 star fights which are the only ones worth doing but you have to search for those through investigations.
@Nyne11Tyme It's censorship, a dong, breast hanging out or even kid being shot shouldn't justify censorship when games like Cyberpunk, TLOU2, Witcher 3, Outlast Trials, and even MGS V are able to get away with it with no issue. This is a game where you see the horrors police deal with, it's not for the faint of heart.
@Oram77 It genuinely needed more basic sword attack combos. Could have added a couple, maybe 3 pause combos to help with variety. Also yeah while the sidequests are boring, they're good enough on the first playthrough since they add to the worldbuilding and character development of some of the side characters.
@Oram77 I definitely agree that it is a bit over glazed. Love the game though and wouldn't mind if SE stuck with either FF7, Ff16, or go back to turn based combat. Ff16's was a lot of fun to me even if it needed more variety in combat expression
@razorhanzo Yeah I don't know how I feel about that. I at least hope the puzzles are interesting riddles instead of a puzzle a 5 year old can do(Looking at you Capcom).
@IronCrow86 What an ignorant comment from someone who clearly hasn't played Sekiro or Bloodborne. Sekiro is innovates with the player needing to deflect and parry in order to damage an enemy's posture and has more verticality in movement. Bloodborne removes defensive options such as shields in favor of aggression with its rally mechanic by having you attack in order to gain back your health. It also has trick weapons and that transform into a different weapon. To say Fromsoft hasn't innovated is a blatant lie.
I liked it, but the fact that the portals could only be used on very specific walls made me heavily dislike it. I don't know why they ruined the portals like that.
@zhoont Yeah the dripfeeding standard orders does get pretty annoying from what I've noticed but it hasn't been too bad. So far my only two main issues is just the weather system is just non existent after the first instance and the world loses so much of its mystery that the first game had.
@zhoont I haven't completed DS2 yet, but it is really disappointing how the "hazardous weather" system is just scripted. They happen once and then never again. The only thing that happens and isn't even that big of an issue is the gate quakes and floods.
Yeah, not buying it after the censorship and also hearing and seeing that it is incredibly buggy looking. Shame because I was actually really interested in getting it on console
@Frmknst I love the game, but I cannot agree with it having the best combat ever because it is extremely basic. The combat just doesn't leave any room for you to do anything interesting. The stances are just there to exploit the enemy's weakness and that's it. No increased speed, no better evasion, no extended range, there's just nothing to the stances that actually changes the combat in a meaningful way.
@TheArt The wind is the best part and is still going to be in the next game. I don't know how you struggled with it when there is the line on the map to direct you anyways and even an icon with a small whirlwind that pops up on the target once you're close.

Sounds like a good time, hope there's a bit more to the puzzles the further you get though.
Re: We're Not Entirely Sold on Sony Funded PS5 Shooter EXILEDGE Yet

It looks fantastic and looks to scratch that DMC itch! Seems like the devs are very confident meaning more than likely no more delays... Hopefully

I'd rather play Cyberpunk all over again than play Starfield.

Re: Battlefield 6 Out on PS5 This October, Tons of Gameplay Revealed in Grand Presentation
@Frmknst You forget that multiplayer games are always repetitive and Arc Raiders and Battle Royale is no different.
Re: Promising PS5 Horror Cronos Will Indeed Be Out This September
@Jrs1 Yeah, there's not really much that's interesting me in wanting to play it.

@Doctor_BK Honestly it kinda does lmao

That can be said for just about any game.

@ShogunRok They had to have done it out spite at that point lol
Re: Ready or Not (PS5) - Disturbing Co-Op Shooter Is a Tactical Must-Play
@Hypoman I bet it is, but I'm not supporting censorship. If it wasn't censored on PC as well I would've happily bought it there.
Re: Sony Job Listing Implies More PS5 Exclusives Will Be Ported to Xbox, Nintendo
They're certainly pushing me to go to PC at this point. Only thing holding me back is the devs still releasing unoptimized PC ports.

Re: PS5 Console Exclusive Lost Soul Aside Sure Has Levelled Up Since It Was Revealed
I'm still hoping this game is near the complexity in combos that DMC is considering it's very much inspired by it.

Can't support this after the censorship and downgrades.
Re: Dying Light: The Beast Delayed into PS5's Crowded September Release Schedule
@themightyant I'm happy when devs delay their games, but it sucks that a delay isn't even a guarantee that it'll be stable at launch.
Re: Dying Light: The Beast Delayed into PS5's Crowded September Release Schedule
@themightyant I mean techland did this with Dying Light 2 and it was pretty busted at launch.

@Korgon Dont forget 2042

@Dan12836666 Let them make what they want to make. Practically every game had difficulty settings and you're acting like they arent.

@LifeGirl Yeah, yeah and every open world game, and FPS is the same as well.

@Oram77 They did at one point with Sly Cooper 4(With another dev)but it wasn't well received the last time I saw it.
Re: Sucker Punch Would 'Love' an inFAMOUS Trilogy on PS5
@Frmknst Come on now, Infamous is one of the very few super hero games that is actually good.
