Update []: As part of today's Nintendo Direct livestream, Bloober Team confirmed Cronos: The New Dawn is coming to PS5 on 5th September 2025. It's priced at £49.99 / $59.99. You can check out the new trailer above.

Original Story: The next Bloober Team game, Cronos: The New Dawn, could be launching for PS5 as soon as 5th September 2025, it is suggested. An achievement list for the Xbox Series X|S version of the game has appeared online, and according to True Achievements, they've been scanned in with an early September launch date.

If the release date is real, then the Silent Hill 2 team will need to share the news imminently — the suggested date is just five weeks away. You can view the achievement list on Exophase, which details 47 requirements to earn 100%. On PS5, there'll be 48 Trophies as Xbox lacks a Platinum Trophy-adjacent reward.

The Trophy list does seem to contain story-related spoilers, potentially in relation to the ending. We don't recommend scanning the full list if you want to remain in the dark, but there'll also be trinkets for finding collectibles and defeating enemies in specific ways.

Bloober Team has confirmed the horror title will be out by the end of 2025, but has yet to put a final release date on it.

Cronos: The New Dawn was recently subject to a wave of media previews, most of which were pretty positive. IGN said: "With Cronos, it feels like Bloober Team has cherry-picked from the best of the genre and fashioned a survival horror beast of its own."

September is becoming a very crowded month for PS5 game releases, with the likes of Hell Is Us, Borderlands 4, Dying Light: The Beast, and Silent Hill F also releasing around it. Will you make time for Cronos in September, if the suggested release date is real? Let us know in the comments below.
