Devil May Cry 5 PS5 PS4

The popularity of the animated Devil May Cry TV show from Netflix has resulted in big sales spikes for the series' most recent video game entries. In the Q1 quarter, which ran from the start of April 2025 to the end of June 2025, Devil May Cry 5 was Capcom's best-selling game, with over 1.7 million units sold.

The boost means the game, across both the original version and its enhanced Special Edition, has sold more than 10.5 million copies to date. Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition also had a large increase in sales, with just shy of half a million sales during the Q1 quarter.

Whether this says more about the recent success of Devil May Cry or the downturn Monster Hunter Wilds has had, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition managed to outsell Monster Hunter Wilds during this period, despite Wilds being a much newer release. The Devil May Cry HD Collection even got in on the act, with close to 600,000 sales.

In accompanying material to the financial earnings report, Capcom described Monster Hunter Wilds sales as "soft". It sold over 10 million copies at launch, but only managed 477,000 purchases in the months after.

Here are Capcom's top 10 best-selling games of the Q1 2025 quarter, documenting sales from April to June:
