@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare Because like difficulty, character classes can change the experience for others. Could he at least test the other difficulty modes? Sure, but they shouldn't be required to play on normal just because the majority chooses to.
"Also - why play this on "hard"? As a preview/review, wouldn't you want to explain how the majority of people will experience the game?"
What a strange take, it's like saying, "Why are you choosing a support class when the majority of people choose to play as the offensive class?" It's the reviewer's preferred experience, they have loads of other reviews to scan through.
@Balaam_ Huh? COD zombies and any horde wave based mode are popular because of how far you can get while it gets and more difficult. Fine if you don't like difficult stuff though.
@UltimateOtaku91 Yeah because that's Fromsoft's thing? Why is that a difficult concept to grasp? They've added harder difficulty modes before in the style of ringing bells and putting on rings.
Honestly Im going to ignore it, not really because of technical issues, but I have the MGS collection vol 1 to go through and I still haven't finished MGS 2 yet and haven't started 3 so I'm gonna wait until I've completed those two so I can compare.
@PuppetMaster Yeah I fully agree with keeping it in the background, hell that was my issue with an entirely different game being Dying Light 2. They tried to make the story be much more involved and it made it much more noticeable how bad Techland's writing team is where as the first game had you playing the game and could ignore the story for the most part.
The combat actually felt pretty good surprisingly. I was genuinely expecting the sound effects to ruin the combat, but I don't even notice it much and the combat was fun to play with! There are still issues like the camera having this weird smoothing delay which makes it annoying dealing with multiple enemies, motion blur, and lack of customizable settings
@PuppetMaster "Good vs evil with good triumph over evil is a tried and true story formula that has been around for many decades or even centuries. Some people can say it's generic"
You can make a good vs evil without it being generic and predictable ya know. It more than likely just doesn't do anything interesting.
@ShogunRok Not wrong there lol but I'm glad to see it is more than simple. I was pretty disappointed with that when it came to FF16 despite still enjoying the combat.
@ShogunRok Okay that's good to hear and I'm not sure if you touched up on it, kind of skimming through the review, but how complex is the combat. Level of DMC, Bayonetta, or is it mega simple?
@ShogunRok Oh no, please tell me the skill system isn't filled with pointless stat boosts. That's the last thing I want to hear from a character action game.
@Fiendish-Beaver Yes, Re2Re and Re7 were terrifying games. A lot of people considered re7 to be the most scary resident evil game. Even Re7 The beginning Hour was a fantastic scary experience.
I don't know how I feel it being tied to a skill tree. I was hoping when it said it would be more natural and dynamic it would simply happen because you helped a wolf out(Like RE4), not because you spent a skill point on it.
I really struggle with elite trophy hunters ideology where even if there's a good game to play they won't play it because the trophies are either too hard or a game doesn't have it. So weird...
@Jammer I just can't enjoy it, the exploration is so boring and uninteresting and needlessly handholdy. Not to mention the majority of sidequests is just timed parkour missions.
Funny how people here are getting upset about this game being a souls like when ghostrunner's gameplay is about trying to not get hit once or you repeat.
I was worried the eng dubbing would sound anime but it's actually pretty good. Still gonna play in JP since that's the original dubbing and won't be out of sync.
@Dan12836666 It's not about what players want, it's about sony making money. I think it was Herman Hulst where he didn't really care if a million fail, just as long as one is successful
I played the demo and it feels like every other unreal engine game I don't know what it is, but it already made me tired of it. Also it's whole thing of "hey no maps and no markers" feels very... gimmicky? Other games that have done it just felt more natural in comparison. I don't know, game was just not for me.
9 stars being the same monsters that were already increased in difficulty to be 8 stars? It's starting to become repetitive and Im getting tired of it.
@Reyzore "They should have showcased this evolution of open-world activities (if it even exists). Like... Atsu riding a horse and being ambushed at any moment in the world, Atsu having to save someone, Atsu being tricked by someone who wants to be saved, traps, a bounty where Atsu, instead of hunting, ends up saving the person only to discover that the person is innocent and discover that the target is the one who set the bounty... I want to be surprised!! For example... is there fishing or hunting in the game? (At Atsu's camp, we saw fish and mushrooms.)"
In the gameplay reveal they show Atsu being ambushed by ninjas who camouflage themselves into the snow and some of the other ones you're talking about are already in the first game like saving a random person from group of bandits or mongols and the victim gives us information on where it took place in order to stop it. We have sidequests in the first game where we get tricked like a woman telling us to get her rice back from bandits and not wanting us to kill them and we already hunt animals to craft equipment such as bears for hides. Obviously the hunting isn't that deep in the first game but it's it will be expanded upon in the second game due to the camp and "cooking."

Definitely not for me, but I really like that they're trying something very different with Dragon Ball games.

Unreal Engine 5 is probably the worst engine ever made.

Wish him the best, it really feels like Itsuno got screwed over when working on Dragon's Dogma 1 and 2.

Cool, but I hope the enemies aren't as annoyingly spongy. Really ruined the game mode for me.
Re: Monster Hunter Wilds Crossover with Final Fantasy 14 Confirmed for September
@DennisReynolds Not expecting it to be but I am hoping it's a raid boss like Behemoth. I know that there were some who didn't like that though.
Re: We're Immediately Sold on the Sekiro Anime After Amazing Announcement Trailer
Well this anime is more than likely going to confirm what is the true ending and maybe a sequel.

They've literally addressed this in an interview.
Re: Battlefield 6 Open Beta Rewards You for Playing on PS5 with Exclusive Skin
Im more interested in the beta challenge skins than that, but neat bonus.
