Released less than a week ago on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, Ready or Not developer VOID Interactive has confirmed the two new console versions have already sold more than one million copies. When including the original PC edition, it has sold over 10 million units in total.
On the milestone, CEO Julio Rodriguez said it took the PC version roughly 36 days to sell one million copies. It has taken around 3.6 days on home consoles. "I'm incredibly proud of the team and what we’ve accomplished together. It’s a huge moment — and one we don’t take for granted," added Rodriguez.
The intense FPS emulates the tactical experiences of real-life SWAT units, and resembles Rainbow Six: Vegas. Creative director Stirling Rank said the team is impressed by the response to Ready or Not from console players.
"Going from the days of excitement from our Early Access trailer blowing up on PC to seeing the community grow globally so much across platforms is humbling, but testament to the incredible dedication of the entire VOID Interactive team to make this vision a reality for Ready or Not."

Honestly, I don't care about the censorship controversy, most of the content in the game is still very much intact. I'm just glad Ready or Not is finally on consoles. My only major complaint is that the graphics aren't nearly as good as they could've been on consoles. Even on PS5 Pro, Ready or Not looks like a mid-gen PS4 game. It looks a lot better on high-end PCs.
Yeah, not buying it after the censorship and also hearing and seeing that it is incredibly buggy looking. Shame because I was actually really interested in getting it on console
good on single player wish text was bigger had no problems
@Frmknst its a single player game as well. Full on commander mode. Games brilliant. Having a blast playing with my son and a friend.
@Frmknst you are just straight up wrong. It is a single player game as well. Like the old school Swat and Rainbow Six games.
I bought it but I'm not sure if I like it. It seems you cannot run. If I'm missing something please enlighten me.
I would have supported the game if they didn't ruin the PC version.
@Frmknst people can say same thing about you paying 50 bucks for hellblade 2 8 hour maybe less game that you call a masterpiece with a glorified sound system thats just asmr and your walking the whole game
@Frmknst this has to be bait
@Propaperpusher no, you cant run. You can lower your weapon to move slightly faster but you cant run and nor do you need to. You have to change your way of thinking from nearly every other FPS and once it clicks it will click. Take it slow, use your squad check your doors and corners etc. Me and my mate couldn't believe how slow it was to begin with then we got our heads around it and now were loving it.
@Bamila They didn't ruin it at all. The number of people outraged by the removal of corpse dismemberment and genitals from the game is truly disturbing.
