Ghost of Yotei PS5

Sucker Punch expects Ghost of Yotei to take roughly the same length of time to beat as it did Ghost of Tsushima, which was in the region of 25 hours for the main story alone.

The estimate comes from a recent developer interview with VGC, where it was revealed that the Bellevue team designed Ghost of Yotei with "similar numbers, in terms of scale and scope of the last experience, in mind". This now leads to the developer forecasting "a similar experience [to that of Ghost of Tsushima], we expect, in terms of the time commitment," said creative director Jason Connell, transcribed by GamesRadar.

According to How Long to Beat, which has based its playtime forecasts on over 5,000 responses, the first game took an average of 25 hours to beat the main story, 47 hours when including extras like side quests and activities, and 64 hours for a 100% complete playthrough.

As some open world games purposefully move away from containing vast amounts of content, to where 100-hour+ playtime trackers are common, Ghost of Yotei appears to be following the trend of quality over quantity. We already know the PS5 sequel is designed not to overwhelm you, and instead allows you to choose what kind of gameplay and experience you're looking for.

It now sounds like Ghost of Yotei's core narrative, which will still have some linearity to it, shall be a roughly 25-hour experience, and side content, collectibles, and any extras could more than double your playtime.
