EA DICE has today shared the debut reveal trailer for Battlefield 6, which confirms a modern-day setting, a multiplayer reveal on 31st July... and that's about it. Compared to past Battlefield game reveals, it's quite the step down. Check the trailer out above.

"Lock & load for the ultimate all-out warfare experience. Fight in high-intensity infantry combat. Rip through the skies in aerial dogfights. Demolish your environment for a strategic advantage. In a war of tanks, fighter jets, and massive combat arsenals, your squad is the deadliest weapon. This is Battlefield 6." You can add the game to your PS Store wishlist now.

The game comes from Battlefield Studios, which comprises EA Dice, Criterion, EA Motive, and Riffle Effect. More will be shared in a multiplayer reveal next week, on 31st July.

While it's not yet confirmed, the PS5 release date is widely believed to be either the 10th or 11th October 2025. A hastily removed disclaimer page stated that any promotional offers will expire on 10th October, which likely refers to pre-order bonuses.

In a press release, the plot is revealed to focus on "Pax Armata, a Private Military Corporation bankrolled by former NATO states whose agenda threatens to throw the world into global conflict. This sets the scene for what players can expect on the battlefield — both in multiplayer and the return of the series’ single player campaign."
