I prefer big apps over small ones. It looks much cleaner this way than dozen of various thumbnails squeezed together on a screen like Twitch does. Absolutely horrible and unclear. So I welcome that new upcoming change.

Im curious what Microsoft got in the pipeline for Playstation. Gears day and date woulbd be a sure meltdown for a lot of people.

Xbox is a third party now. Just like EA and Ubisoft. If they had showcases Pushsquare would also write articles about it.

AI is the solution. A big portion of dev teams can be replaced by AI and save a fortune. Thats the only way.

According to ESA Report, the average gamer is a 41yo. The silly chliche, gamers being children is quite embarassing.

Blasphemous 2 is a masterpiece and one of the very best Metroidvania of all times. That alone is making this months selection a highlight.
But as I already have played Blasphemous 2, I go with Metal Eden or Warhammer.

Outsanding!

Combat, Loot System, Upgrade System, Gameplay Loop, Exploration, Boss Fights, Enemy Types, OST, Level Design are incredible.
Easy a giant of 2026 and an absolute highlight of the PS5 era.

Im on Nioh 3. But my copy arrived late ( thanks Amazon). Im addicted to it. More than 30 hours in already. Enjoy all slices of it. Even on that Coop, helping other ones for hours already. My GotY and one of the best games this gen.

So your playtime was around 45 hours. How much side content was part of the playtime?
Any idea how long the main quests are, excluding the side stuff?

I played all of Life is Strange games aside of Double Exposure.
I only enjoyed Life is Strange and Life is Strange Before the Storm. Life is Strange 2 and True Colors were disappointing. Didnt bother for Double Exposure so my intrest for another one is rather low.

Sony has no obligation to any other platform but Playstation.

Everything technical, Yotei tops Tsushima. Which is quite logical.
But I also love the level design more and think the world building is a bit better in Yotei.

Yotei has an amazing premise but the execution with the plot and the screenplay is rather poor.

But I prefer the cast of characters in Tsushima with the exception of the antigonists. Yoteis wasnt outstanding but still superior than Tsushimas.

I like both. Its hard for me to rank em. They both have things I like more than the other.

Yet, a direct comparison between my boi Jin and Atsu.

The story with its plot and pacing and its layers of mysteries and secrets is a dream for lore hunters and lore fanatics.
I already have listened to a dozen of hours of other intepretations of the story.

The world building with its outstanding atmosphere and architecture of the 1960s of Japan is scarily immersive.

Characters are oddly fascinating.

The performances of voice actors and actresses are astonishingly hitting its myserious tone.

The graphics is breath-taking. Especially, in the Pro.

The music is the perfect companion to hightlight and underline the moment to moment of the experience.

The audio design got me scared straight the entire time.

The level designs were good.

The gameplays survival loop was great. I like the durability of the weapons.

The combat was the weakest point of Silent Hil f. Not Bad but left a lot of room for more and different.

I could talk for hours about this game. Its so addictive with its care of details and creativity.

More Silent Hill!

I love seeing Konami back in the industry.
Their absence was palpable

Silksong at number 2 in Europe is fantastic. What an outstanding game.

Yet, my lovely Silent Hill f barely in the top ten is irritating.

Thats the result of no competition behavior.
Playstation will end up same.
No reason to invest but rather motivation to save money.

All these neutral gamers will learn it the hard way.

We need these massive Corporations to compete with each other.

The whole point of having exklusive titles is to stand out and attract other players. Thats maintaing a healthy competition factor.
Putting their exclusives on other platforms simply devalues the platform and Xbox is the very best example of it.
Playstation will end up just like Xbox and then people with no understanding of business and its core necessity of competition.

I rather be a fanboy of a console that I love and want to have several follow-up of than a bootlicker of a few suits and ties who strife for a short term financle boost.
