Again, immediate impressions were great. The action RPG amassed loads of really high review scores, and fans of the series have been sharing all kinds of praise online. In short, the sequel's gone down well.

Although prior to launch, there was some trepidation surrounding Nioh 3's structure. As you may know, the title adopts an 'open zone' approach; it's not quite open world, but it does throw players into large, fully explorable maps, where they can search for optional battles, treasures, and secrets.
It's resulted in Nioh 3 being dubbed the Elden Ring of its series, and we suppose that's somewhat accurate. But again, do you think it's a step in the right direction?
For what it's worth, we called the game "a new Team Ninja gem" in our Nioh 3 PS5 review.
"Nioh 3 takes all the best bits from Team Ninja’s previous efforts to form its greatest action experience in a very long time," we wrote, awarding the title a 'great' 8/10.
