Wow wasting resources that should have gotten to Playstation players. Here we are begging for any showcase to update the state of Sonys first party studios and they pour all that resources to these basement dwelling virgins and fail even at that.

Like it or not. The industry gotta find ways to reduce costs and time. As the costs get higher and higher hence more anti-consumer practices like monetisations, loot boxes, season passes ect. are being implemented into video games.
Maybe one day the A.I. Tech is sophisticated enough to write excellent dialogs and create outstanding characters.
As far as I was told that takes a huge amount of effort in creating video games.

@Hoodie718 You're right with the PS5 being a well designed console. But what is lacking is simply more games. Every single penny Sony wastes for this gimmick could have been used to invest in their first party lineup for the PS5.

You're being part of the PS5 community isn't much saying though, looking at the embarrassingly low sale numbers of the PSVR 1, there is no demand for this gimmick. Simple waste of resources. PSVR 2 will have the same fate as the first one. Both sales will end up beneath that other gimmick Sony put out years ago. PS Life or was is death? Don't really remember. That one that took the resources away from PS4.

No way in hell this is anywhere near profitable. Let's see how The Last of Us Part 1 Remake and Factions 2 does on PC. If they flop too, they gotta come out and say something. I'm really pleased about Dead Space though. I have never played the original so that remake is a brand new game to me and let me say it is brilliant so far. I'm only 2 hours in and already hooked. I can only imagine how gamers felt about it at the time the original came out. I finally understand why it is considered to be one of the greats. It is a strong start for me as gaming goes.

Plus, I love seeing Ragnarok still kicking ass in the charts.

What a bummer. I wasn´t buying it day one, after all the follow-up trailers made the initial positive impression kind of underwhelming.
Fortunately, this month still got Dead Space as an AAA game to lust after.

Of course, I bought, at least, Persona 4 Golden, so far. I am supporting the devs as a real gamer should.
Not this renting nonsense that forces to fire 10.000 employees which a bunch are developers cause the digital rental model evidently isn't substantial at all.
I will not have that blood on my hand. I leave this to the fake gamers who wanna see the game industry in shambles.
Btw, if, for the very unlikely reason, any dev that got fired by the company who keeps shoving this digital rental nonsense down the industry's throat, Sony's Bungie, Guerrilla Games and Bluepoint Studios are hiring.

Draupnir all the way. After receiving the Draupnir, I built by entire build to a Luck Build. Was simply amazing.

I might get NFS, Gotham Knights and GT7. Not sure if Evil West is worth it now. But it is on my list as well for a later date.

I think Days Gone was one of Sony's worst game ever published. And it smeared Sony's reputation as high quality publisher for a while.
Nontheless, he ain't wrong. All that woke weirdos gotta get the f outta the industry. Disliking or even liking someone based on the skin color has simply no place here. Dictating artist what to do is part of fascism and should be declared null and void as harsh as possible.

Love to see it. I'm 25 hours in and it's without a doubt my GotY and might beat my favorite game of all time God of War 2018 and becoming my new favorite video game of all time. Everything about this game is what I love about video games.

Like in most cases, I already have the games or I'm not interested in em. In order to satisfy me is to put brand new games in there in scale of Stray or even Bugsnax. But generally spoken, Nioh 2 is amazing. Good for them who haven't played it

It's a 9 to me. My personal Game of the Year.
Story, pacing, Characters and voice acting are topnotch.
Also the OST are pure brilliance. Probably one of the best soundtracks in gaming history.
Improved gameplay. Especially, the combat got better. Also the puzzles, which were already good in the previous installment, got better.
I really hope for another sequel.
Let's hope Microsoft ain't acquiring them.

I just checked their Homepage ( a really nice one btw). Their latest game was Blood and Truth in 2019. Been almost 4 years. This game hopefully comes out soon.

I've got it digitally and I'm optimistic its going to reflect positive on the PS store charts, as it's up there in the most downloaded games, for days now, on the PS Store.

None of these numbers above sound like success stories to me.
So much effort and resources wasted for them PC ports and they are already minimalizing to an absolute. Not to mention the devaluation of the console itself. The same fate will be on their mobile attempt. Just watch.
It's time to accept PC gamers, console gamers and mobile gamers aren't the same kind of gamers. They might be a small portion of overlapping but the absolute majority is its own thing.

Isn't Deathloop, Ratchet and Clank, Returnal, Demon's Souls, Ghostwire Tokyo and Astrobot 60 frames? Some of em even in 4K or in 1440p right and bare minimum 1080p. So we've had already current Gen games being 60 frames on at least 1080p. It is possible then. It's as usual a question if the devs bother to make it happen.

Spider-Man 2018s gameplay got shown 2016, 2 years prior of its release. So I really doubt 2023 is the year of Spider-Man 2 in 2023. But I would love to be wrong about that.

Is is more open this time around or is it like the previous installment, where the upgrade possibilities is hindered by the progression of the story?
Or with an example so you understand my question, can I focus only upgrading the crossbow to have it at its max as soon as possible or is it bound to the stories progression?

What's the reason Sony doesn't announce the line up for Essentials and Extras together? Wouldn't that display the higher value of Extra much better and therefor might influence only Essential subscriber to upgrade to Extra?
