My first brand new game of 2025.

Thats the aftermath of the success of the Playstation 4.
It had built so much momentum in its cycle, it carries it into the Playstation 5 era.

I don't care what anyone says, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is a masterpiece. I bought it day one, played and platniumed it. Plus I copped the DLC The Dark Mask, which was a great expansion to the vanilla version.

It still hurts me, the studio with so much talent got shut down.

Where the ones trying to tell me Sony Playstation isnt full of incompetence?

The entire higher ups at Sony Playstation are holding the wrong positions.
They are overpayed and under deliver.

Once they hire smart people, I consider applying to fix that trash they have been producing.

I'll be there day one regardless.
I hope they go all out offering a Steelbook.

Nobody important cares for Bend Studios.
But Bluepoint is a bummer.
All their work in the last decade was fantastic.

I said it a thousand times before, Sony cannot support several hardware at once.
Focus on one and one only.
They make so many obvious mistakes, its crazy how much disconnection and incompetence holds job positions at Sony/Playstation.
Give me 5 years at that company with full executive powers and Sony/Playstation would be 1000 times its current worth.

All gaming platform compete with each other, in one way or the other.

If one console manufacturer convinces a gamer to spend his/her time on its platform, he/she spends less time on any other. That alone is competing over consumers time.

Kind of crazy he even needs that much time to begin with, considering how fast Kojima Production was developing the first Death Stranding.

As a passionately Nintendo hater, I hate to admit it, but Nintendo was, once again, ahead of its time. Playing games on a stationary TV and then SWITCH to a mobile handheld at any point is the future.

Sony just now fully learning and embracing that while MS might have something similiar to it, is the absolute proof of it.

Rebirth is on the right spot.

Animal Well was amazing. So is Nine Sols. Even though Im not done with it yet. Its an incredible Metroidvania.
The Plucky Squire seemed good but lost me around 3 hours.

Ive got to take a look at the other games.

Its a superb JRPG. Better than P4 but worse than P5.
Im glad that Remake exists. I missed it when it came out and wouldnt have played it otherwise.

@twitchy_emu92 The sole reason the PS2 sold that well was because of the disastrous PS3 launch.
The PS2 sat at around 100 million units when the PS3 came out. Due the countless isssue of the PS3 ( 1 Year after the 360, the high price point, unstable network, No First Party Support, third party games ran much worse than on the 360 etc)
People, especially, in Europe and Asia kept buying PS2s. And were waiting for Sony to fix the PS3 problems. So in order for Sony to beat the PS2 sales with the PS5, they have to mess up the PS6 launch

Last gen games shouldnt be on that list. Thats just poor.

Ive planned to play it on the PS5 Pro. Everything goes according to plan.
I have to finish RoboCop Rogue City first. Three more days boys. Almost there.

Astro God for the Win

One of the very best Metroidvenia Ive ever played.

I got it day one same with its DLC - The Dark Mask.

The creativity of them level der designs are simply one of the greatest level designs ever.
I was constantly surprised by them. Im completely saddend for these news.

All over Silent Hill 2.
What an outstanding game it is

I have finished The Last of Us Part 1, started and finished the DLC to Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Mask of Darkness after around 4 hours which took me two Sessions.

Now Im patiently waitng for Silent Hill 2.
I might jump into a short game like Gris or Firewatch which been in my backlog for a long time for Silent Hill 2 just to bridge the time.

Dead Space is amazing but I already own it.

Well lets hope that list is inaccurate.

I really hope I get one. Although, the process probably wont be fair.

Sony is wasting its resources for that ungrafeful and console devaluing efforts.

Theres no way the PC ports are profitable anyways.

Fukk them PC gamers.
If they want games, they can ask Valve to make it for em.

All that promises from Mark Cerny that it would take less time to develop, for the PS5 than for the PS4, was rubbish.

I used to be very bearish about Playstation 5 the last few months but Astro Bot completely cleansed my negativity about Playstation.

One of the very best platformers Ive ever played.
Team Asobi is the fututre for Playstation Games now.

I liked the first one. I even platnuimed it so Ive got my eyes on the sequel.

I really enjoyed the Dredge content.
I played, finished and platnuimed the game without tackling the Godzilla content and now 3 more content pieces at once.
Im looking forward to go back to Dave the Diver.

Its pretty much like the previous Yakuza Games - and I love it.

Huh? Of course, they have high engagement. It is based on the success of the Playstation 4 though. There is a term for that but unfortunately I forgot what it was called.
When a subsequent product does extremly well based on the product before it.

I played, finished and Platinumed Dave the Diver. An outstanding game and one of the best smaller titles I had pleasure with.

By far Sonys worst console.
All the success the Playstation 5 enjoys is based on the great console Sony had with the Playstation 4. ( My fav Gen )
Crazy how a few of top executives can decide the fate of an entire Brand that been around for generations.

Lets hope Sonys preparation for the Playstation 6 is much more sophisicated and thoughtout.

FFXVI was my GotY last year. An amazing experience.

Thats so embarassing. I had purchased Astros Bot and hoped for my Points.

Jim Ryan had a good hunch to reconstruct Japan Studios into Team Asobi. They had a killer app with Astros Rescue Mission and an absolute amazing kickoff with Astros Playroom on the PS5 launch. Now Astro Bot set to come out this very year is probably a 3 outta 3 Hits Situation.
Already preordered my copy on PSN.
I still think its unfortunate Sony isnt releasing a Steelbook release of it. September cant come soon enough.

I preordered Astro Bot. Hopefully I receive my points after Sony fixes it.

FFXVI was actually my Game of the Year last year so naturally I got Echoes of the Fallen and I just got Rising Tides.
It saddens me its the finale of the adventures of Clive Rosfield.
I'll be missing him.

I know that Fighting Games sell best on Playstation but 99%? That is clinical.
Very sad not seeing FFVII Rebirth the Charts anymore.
