Action RPG Babylon's Fall got a new trailer during Square Enix's E3 showcase, and it's given us more gameplay footage than ever before. It also confirms that the title's coming to PlayStation 5 as well as PlayStation 4. However, we still don't have a release date.
As for our own take on this, it looks a bit... Tame, doesn't it? We expected much more flash — especially from a Platinum project. Honestly, we're not sold just yet, but that might change once we play it.

That was a very odd way to present a game, but I feel like all japanese trailers chose not to use sound effects which just makes trailers feel very weak. Even so, this does indeed look very very tame.
Better than most things shown at E3 this year, infact so far square enix takes the crown for me
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed, too. Was expecting more from the big P. Let’s hope it plays better than it looks!
Looks alright I guess. For a Platinum game, the combat does look a bit underwhelming here.

Platinum is pretty overrated but damn what a downgrade from what they showed before
I thought this showing was incredibly disappointing. Looked very dated and stiff — not what you'd expect from Platinum really.
Really bummed. This gameplay is a huge downgrade from the initial trailer. Character models downgraded with low quality textures and lacking animation. Not to mention it's a live service game. Oh how far we've fallen.
@nessisonett exactly, it killed the game for me. Also is it just me or the art-style changed a bit?
This disappointing for platinum games, I was hoping for more quick action like bayonetta or nier automata, this looks slow. Also why the characters design is western not japanese like bayo/nier.

Signed up for the Beta test. Went with PS5 over my PC, maybe smaller pool of entries.
If you have a PS5 - Better to try and get in the Beta. Make up your mind if good or not by playing it first hand.

Welp, I just watched the original trailer from last year, which was so much better... Honestly, not remembering the name, I did not recognize this being the same game.
Definitely not what I was expecting from this one, certainly don't have time for another service game. Ahh well, hopefully it hits with some people.

Tell me one thing. At least 20 years we are hitting same glitch, where characters hair or weapons go thru his cape... WHY?
This looks like it will be from the infamous Platinum B team (not an actual team)
Shame, I was hyped for this once. But it isn't the souls-like suggested but a live service game that looks more like a cross between Godfall and Infinity Blade.
