I got into 1 but then life got in the way when I was around 15 hours in. But it’s been awhile since I’ve played 1. After I finish the dlcs in Nioh I plan to get back and play through 1.

It’s all good. I’m waiting for a discounted directors cut anyway. By then if I’ve seen any spoilers at all I’ll have forgotten them

I can see that. DS2 is a huge release. But the gameplay and kojima style is still a bit niche compared to GOY.

I just want another Sekiro like game. That’s game was pure distilled and focused perfection.

@DonJorginho eternal is my favorite modern shooter. I loved almost everything about it except the final boss of the base game. I really need to play the dlc sometime.

@Oram77 I don’t think so. From a gameplay perspective it’s the best for me. Not story. But gameplay for sure

@nomither6 this is totally the backlog generation. I’ve bought 4 new games this gen that weren’t cross gen when they came out. Returnal, expedition 33, demon souls, ahhh I guess only 3.

Replayed ff9 recently. Great f*cking game. The combat isn’t very deep though. I enjoyed playing with builds in ff7 more.

I just couldn’t get around the combat. I tried several times. I loved the story and world. But if the gameplay doesn’t match it doesn’t hold me.

I’m not amped on the open world aspects of it and I loved the verticality of Eternal. Plus the perry mechanic doesn’t appeal to me

@hugoadan just finished the base game in Nioh 1 almost through the 1st dlc. I’m gonna take a nioh break after that but I’m excited to get into 2. Such a great game

There’s just something about this release that just doesn’t amp me up like Eternal did. I’ll play it for sure. But I’ll wait for a sale.

They should make an all new game that’s really good.

If I’ve learned anything from this is you have to wait awhile till after something is released to get the final version or true vision. Meaning after a game is done being patched or the pro version of a console releases.

A few patches should fix it up. No worries. Unless it’s something really special I don’t see reason to buy games until they’re fully patched, all dlc is released and they’re on discount. Only then do I consider a game to be release ready.

Ahhh. I’m still stoked to check it out. But Eternal was my favorite. I see that’s not really a feeling a lot of folk have though.

Can we get dmc 6 instead?
