A single sentence discovered through the official 30th Anniversary website for the Persona series has got fans dreaming of a big announcement.
Said sentence reads: "Come celebrate the journey as we usher in the next chapter for the series."
Seems like a bit of a tease, doesn't it? But before we get too excited, it should be stressed that there are caveats to this discovery (as spotted by Faz on X, or Twitter).
For starters, this line only appears via SEGA Asia's version of the anniversary site, specifically. And even then, it appears to be exclusive to the site's Google description. You can read it for yourself by searching 'Persona 30th Anniversary SEGA Asia'.
So the hopeful insinuation here is that the site's got some kind of hidden teaser; that there are meaningful announcements lined up for the franchise's anniversary celebrations, which are set to continue throughout 2026.
We think it's a bit of a leap to assume all of this based on a regional version of a website's Google snippet (actually, it sounds downright insane when you put it like that), but the hype-inducing sentence does exist, and it must exist for a reason.
At this point in time, the only anniversary stuff Atlus has officially alluded to is new merchandise and upcoming events. Again, we'd be shocked if Persona 4 Revival isn't re-revealed at some point over the coming months, but the next chapter? As in Persona 6? Hmmm.
