That fine I still haven’t gotten my pound of flesh back from the ps5 pro . All the games will be cross gen anyway for the first several years. Ps5 will probably be my last console anyway. 4k? Didn’t they say 8k about the ps5? They’re saying 120fps… that’ll mean 60fps in reality. Like the ps5 was supposed to give 60fps. They’re 100% going to over promise and under deliver. The pro is the perfect example of this.

@QiaraIris if they can bring back the spirit of the og xbox and 360 I would be interested. Sony hasn’t inspired a lot of dedication from me this gen. Not that anyone should be loyal to a company… I know it’s unlikely. But maybe.

My money and hopes are on failure. Some hard lessons need to be learned over at Sony. But if there’s enough dopes to support GaaS they’ll continue to waste money and resources in that predatory arena.

Tbh. That’s the move of a company who feels like they don’t even need to try anymore. It’s been showing.

Returnal was the only game so far I’ve played this gen that felt like it could only be done on the ps5. Fantastic game.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we started to see a turnaround on physical sales in the future. I think people are starting to feel like digital isn’t as ideal as they did before. I know I’m switching back to physical games when I can.

@themightyant I can see that. Imo the rooms with the crazy spikes are usually marked in some way. For me that was part of the fun was being strategic and circling back to an area where I knew I’d get crushed if I went into before I was ready. Also once I got good at the game challenging myself by rolling into those rooms with just the pistol. But I understand where you’re coming from. My heart dropped a hand full of times during my first 8ish hours of playing.

Sorry, so does this update require another patch on a game to game basis like the pro did before? Do games with the old pro patch need another patch?
