@DennisReynolds yea man. No ray tracing and 60fps = rip off. But it’s fine. I’m playing through back log now. Plenty of time to fix the game up before I get around to it anyway.

@DennisReynolds I’m not going to split hairs over exact wording. I’m just saying. It was sold as a marriage of performance and fidelity. And I feel like it under delivered. Not saying it isn’t better. It is. Just not enough. But it is what it is. I bought it. So I only have myself to blame.

Did mark cerny say something about not having to pick between performance and fidelity anymore? I seem to remember that being a thing once…. I got a pro because I prefer framerate but would like to get the best out of the games I buy. Starting to feel like I got snake oiled a bit.

It’s a great game. But I personally am fine letting sleeping dogs lay. Not everything needs a remaster or remake.

I really wish companies would focus less on graphical fidelity so games don’t take 5-10 years to make. Remember when square was just pumping out classics in the psx era? Not that we need that many games cranked out. But still. What’s going on right now is madness.

I love this. But really though. Ideally this kind of stuff shouldn’t be news. Leave the trolls under the bridge and out of sight where they belong. They keep getting fed attention. It will never stop.

Returnal is game of the gen so far. Not even close for me. I’m talking a game that’s not cross gen. So Elden ring and cyberpunk etc don’t count.

@Bagwag82 there’s also a large group of adults who just don’t want to work anymore. They do what they have to just to get by and chill the rest.

Didn’t Diablo 4 say it had a pro patch? Running fidelity mode on it runs terrrrible.

A title is the vein of Sekiro no doubt. I don’t necessarily want a sekiro 2. I just loved the combat so much. Maybe take that combat and build on it and tweak it the way BB did with Souls combat. Or Sekiro 2… that would be great too

The FF7 demo reeled me in. I remember wearing the disc out. I think that disc also had Tobal No 1 as well. PSX will forever be my fav gen.

Cp2077 2.0/Phantom Liberty was absolutely my favorite gaming experience last year. Too bad only 26% played it. I know that’s a good number. But it deserves more in my opinion.

Ended up getting one. Decided to upgrade to new systems when they launch the pro version. Seems like that’ll be the “true vision” going forward.

Psx is my personal favorite generation. The creativity, quality and quantity was off the charts. We shall never see its like again.

It’s fine. I feel like it should depend on the dlc. Shadow was pretty much a whole new game for the amount of hours got out of it. Phantom liberty 100% should have taken it last year.

3 years or more in between each entry is wild. It’s hard to hold interest when it’s so far apart.

@Bigmanfan I wonder what the working conditions for play testing video games is. Gotta be a dark dank dungeon with humidity off the charts and sweltering heat with pythons and other dangerous predators freely roaming about.

It’s like people with entry level jobs striking for a living wage…. Then complaining about inflation. If you’re unhappy with your pay or job requirements either git gud and get a promotion or find a new job.

Started death stranding directors cut. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this game based on what I read. But it’s got me now. I’m totally on board.

It’s odd with them. While I overall enjoyed p5r. It’s tooooo dang long. No game should take 100 hours. Parts of it just dragged for way too long. Looking at you mind castle 5. I want to play this. But I just don’t have that kind of time to invest. 40 hour games is asking a lot these days
