I’m actually excited for 2026. First full year of games I’m amped on since current gen launched. Every year has had its games yeah. But I’m looking forward to something throughout the whole year. Les gooooo

Death stranding directors cut. Took me a few start stops on this game. But now it’s got me. I knew it had me when I spent 4 hours collecting supplies to rebuild roads. I usually don’t get into building like this in games. Which says something. Such a unique experience of a game. Love it

Jesus guys. Please just wait to announce your game until it’s around a year to release. That way we can actually see some gameplay and you’ll be more confident it won’t be canceled by then as a well.

Nioh is one of these games where it’s best to wait until all dlc is out and then buy the complete version at 15-20$. I love niohs though, more than souls and other souls likes except maybe Sekiro.

I’m tired of hearing every studio say this is the biggest game they ever made. I’d like to see a studio say this is the most focused and innovative game we’ve ever made. The most respect for your time we’ve ever had.

I’ve learned my lesson this gen never to buy a game to play day of release. If I buy early to support the dev, I still wait until it’s fully patched to play it

Wealth and company consolidation has been such a bane on almost every facet of life. I remember in the US when they broke up the phone company Bell because they became too big. Stuff like that doesn’t happen anymore unfortunately

CO is goty based on what I’ve played. I’m still trying to finish DS1 to get to on the beach.

One of the best games I’ve ever played. Literally clapped as Phantom liberty ended. Phenomenal.

@Oram77 agreed. I usually put the reboots after the first three games w ragnarok being last. They’re great games mind you… just not on the level of 1-3.

I probably won’t even get gta6. But I am curious about it, if only because of the hype it’s getting. The only gta I’ve ever finished was 4. The gameplay loop just doesn’t hook me

Been working one death stranding directors cut. But I ordered a new tv a few days ago, probably going to break on games until it comes in

@Dodoo Yup. Open world as the standard has gotten very cookie cutter and uniform.

Gow:R is far and away the worst of the entire series. It’s a good game mind you. Just the bottom of the barrel.

NES was my first console. Ps6 is the first console I’m not excited for in the slightest. I remember the excitement for n64 and then the ps2 and the Xbox 360 so vividly. (how could you fumble that momentum from 360 so bad Microsoft?) Since the ps360 era each gen has come and gone with less enthusiasm. Ps6 will be the first I take a wait and see approach. I’ll probably wait till the 6 pro comes out. If I upgrade at all

@MrPeanutbutterz That's exactly it. I played games a lot more then because you could beat a game in a weekend to a week. The investment to play games now is crazy. For fighting games you could pick and master more characters in the game. Focused and well curated. How many junk characters are in these behemoth rosters?

Dang. NiGHTS was such a hidden gem. I mean, it was only really hidden bc no one had a Saturn. But great game for the time nonetheless

About as bad as it gets. So we don’t really have to worry about the next one being this bad. No where to go but up

Sounds about right considering they supported ps4 for another 3-4 years after ps5 launch.

@MrRhysReviews Bethesda has been on a decline since FO3. Every game is even less compelling than the last. The best one, NV not even made by Bethesda.

Finally got around to starting death stranding. Only a few hours in, I’m really enjoying it so far.
