What I love about the pro. Is that those who have to spend time trying to justify its existence. I got one. I literally see no difference in the games I play. That’s because you really have to pay attention to it for it to matter. At that point you’re just straining your eyes to make yourself feel good about the purchase. And fine go ahead. Jump on here and talk about how great the game is “singing” on your pro. But I can see what I paid for and it isn’t worth it. Lesson learned.

I’m in act 3 of Clair obscur now. I was scared for a moment I wouldn’t have a chance to go back and clear up all the stuff I missed before after I finished act 2. The gesturals are easily one of if not my favorite side “comedy” characters in a game. I’m almost intentionally putting off going forward in the story because I don’t want the game to end. So good. Game of the gen for me unseating returnal.

I’ll never spend 1k on a console hand held or otherwise. It’s not that I can’t afford it. I’m just not a sap.

Whatever they release for ps6 will be playable on ps5 for the first 5 years minimum. So absolutely not. Maybe when they start talking about the TRUE ps6 in the ps6 pro ill have a look

@Alpha_Pulse in the past I’d say the same. But 90% of this gen has been spent playing back logs anyway. With the exception of returnal and Clair Obscur

I’ll be waiting till ps6 actually has (if) enough console exclusive games to warrant an upgrade this time.

If next gen is as disappointing as this gen overall. Im skipping. Thats not to say there haven’t been classics. But this gen is just saaaad in comparison to all other PlayStations.

This game is something else. Contender for game of the gen for me rn. Returnal being the current favorite.

Fable 1 and 2 are great. But it’s not because of this guy. Hes a quack and has contributed little to the gaming community beyond being the guy who made WAY OVERHYPING your game popular.

I mean. Yes and no. I still very much enjoy a lot of their games. However I am more selective these days in what I devote my time to. A lot of that is because games are longer now. But my favorite console is PSX. That should tell you everything. That console had imo the most varied library.

This guy has to be kidding around right? Right? I can’t believe he did that without the intention of just trying to get attention. Which is still totally sad.

I’m switching back to physical purchases next gen. No more digital or subscriptions for me.

He’s overblowing it. However, this is far and away the worst PS gen yet imo. There are a few s tier exceptional. Returnal and death stranding 2… beyond that not much at all that’s current gen specific that stands out. Clair Obscure is my goty. But it’s not a ps specific game.

Good idea for long session gamers. But I’ve never drained a full battery in a single session so I’m indifferent to this personally

lol I mean for me… this is a lateral move. EA was already the worst. Kind of hard to go lower when you’re already at rock bottom.

The gameplay looks fantastic. But that constant flow of corny dialogue totally ruins it for me. I don’t mind corny dialogue mind you. Old resi games are my favorites. But if it’s non stop like it appears to be in the trailer… I dunnnooooo. The kids voice actor grates like nails on my brain.

This is not for me anymore. I miss the days of 40 hours being the max on a game. For example I played P5R and while it was a great game it just NEVER ended. By the 5th palace I was trying to race through the game just to get it over with and the impact of the finale fell a bit flat as a result of fatigue

Got deep into CO33. It took me several hours to lock in with the combat and systems. But once I got Perrys down. Oooofffff what a game!!!!! It’s got its hooks in me now and I can’t wait till the next time I have time to play it

@PuppetMaster I get it. But all the titles you mentioned are leagues above the marvel stuff to me. It really shows what they are capable of. It’s just personal preference

That’s too bad insomniac has become the marvel developer. They were so good at original content. Not to say their marvel output is bad. Personally I’m sick to death of marvel and would prefer original characters and worlds. But if there was any character that deserves/needs a banger game, its spawn.

Saros is easily my most anticipated game at the moment. It’s been a minute since I bought a game day 1. But that will definitely be it!
