Even when a game is printing all the money… it’s still not enough. Some jerkoff will always want a bigger bonus. Happy I never liked this game or its ilk.
I think that’s respectable. If you can make a lower fidelity game quicker and more efficiently, then use upscaling tech to push the graphics side of things without it loosing the artists intent, I’m for it. Ai can be very useful and helpful or it can be an abomination. Up to the user. I use it a lot for my job. Not to replace the work I should be doing, but to help finalize and format things that would otherwise take hours when I could be doing other projects.
@rjejr totally. Ai Upscaling is great tech when done right. And if they could use that to help them great. But I’m not particularly interested in playing games that have whole assets and levels deigned by ai. I prefer the human element as I’m sure most of us would.
Embarrassing to admit but 5 is the only one I’ve played. I just got the remake trilogy and intend to tackle those after I finish Nioh 2 and death stranding
I’m confident this will be a great game. But I’ll be damned if it isn’t sad af that NG could only get out one game in the ps5 lifespan. I think I saw another poster say something similar. I’m perfectly fine if graphics regressed a little bit if that meant that they could produce solid forward thinking games at a better pace. Just focus on performance rather than bleeding edge graphics. I haven’t seen a lot of people on here say they prefer graphics to performance.
I don’t understand why this game is so talked about honestly. It’s never caught my attention and still doesn’t. Other than the fact that articles about it here like Xbox helix stories.
I like this thing. A lot. It’s perfect when the child is watching something and I want to get a few minutes of gaming in. I really wish the latency was better though. I have good WiFi in my house too. Playing CO33 was difficult hitting parrys and same w Nioh. But that’s pretty much my only gripe with it. It’s not unplayable by any means. It just plays ever so slightly different because of that vs console.
Oh man! One of my favorite games of all time. But I already put 100+ hours into it when 2.0 and phantom liberty dropped. Unless there’s anything like a new dlc coming I’ll probably skip it.
Wait. 60$ for a free game? Thats as funny as selling a special edition game set without the game. There’s no low companies won’t sink to lap up every cent like pigs at the trough.
@nessisonett I liked it plenty. Not an all timer for me, but it got me and kept me engaged all the way through. It never overstayed its welcome. I appreciate games like that
@AgentMantis agreed there. Executives are a full on cancer. Just doing well isn’t good enough. If you’re not continually smashing records then it’s a failure. It’s all about wringing every last cent you can out of every game or ip. Ruins all the creativity in the business
The stock market is literally the worst thing ever created followed by social media. The constant need to make more and more and more rather than enough, is sickening. There’s a reason gluttony and greed are part of the seven deadly sins.
Hopefully they’ll have a mode where you can play it like returnal as far as the biome progression goes. I loved that white knuckle feeling during an intense encounter that I might be damned. But if I make it it soooo satisfying
@LogicStrikesAgain I do sometimes. But marathon is dominating the pages lately. I’m of the belief that the current trends of monetizing parts of games that should be included in a full version paying monthly fees ect…. Is a trash system and if you just keep quiet about it and let it be, it will keep happening. There’s plenty of games I don’t like I’ll just ignore. If it’s something I believe to be scummy, I’ll have something to say. So here I am. 🤷♂️
I’ve been playing ps2 ps3 and ps4 era games more than ps5 era games this gen. They’re just better and more creative. Graphics aren’t important. Gameplay and flow is. Time and time again they keep sacrificing everything so their game looks prettier. Nothing is learned. We want creativity and performance things we rarely get in the ps5 era.

@LifeGirl gta6. First trailer sick. We’re now what two years removed from that? And all the speculation and hype. I’m not interested at all anymore.
