We've marked this one down as a rumour, but it looks like Starfield really is gearing up for an April release date on PS5.
The RPG, previously an Xbox console exclusive, will launch for Sony's system on the 7th April. You may recall that this same date was leaked a few weeks back, but it's now being reported on by the incredibly reliable Dealabs.
What's more, the publication claims that Starfield will boast a lower price tag on PS5. It released as a full $70 title on Xbox and PC in 2023, but the port will be cut down to £44.99 — which we would assume equates to $50, or thereabouts.

Pre-orders are supposed to be opening at some point this month, when the PS5 version is revealed alongside the game's anticipated 2.0 update.
Interestingly, Bethesda boss Todd Howard recently said that the update won't fundamentally change the oft-criticised title, and so expectations need to be kept in check.
We can only imagine that an official announcement, or even some kind of showcase, is imminent.
