@Pat_trick If its dropping below 30fps then its not good and it does that on performance mode on the Pro. Fact is performance no matter the mode isn't great and that's what DF are saying.

@lazarus11 Unbiased and review don't go together. A review is based on someones own opinion. Just because you're salty a gaming website scored a game a 6/10 because your own subjective opinion on the game is different to their's doesn't mean there subjective opinion is right or wrong. If you don't like that go and find an echo chamber as clearly that's all you want.

@JoeNobody Kingdom Come 1/2 got great reviews with KC2 even getting a GOTY spot at the Game Awards.

@Pat_trick Thomas wasn't part of that video and its him who done the CD video. He's also provided hard video evidence and anyone whose played CD knows its true.

@SEVENTEENSOILS Yeah its hard to take AI searches seriously especially when someone else already pointed out its wrong. The Cardcaptors one is basically what Sailor Moon, Yugioh and such had done in that anything deemed "adult" was removed or changed. The whole changing ideology BS is just not really accurate.

As for gaming yeah removing sexualisation of underage characters is a good thing.

@LifeGirl Worth noting didn't they over hire thanks to the covid boom? It makes sense they want to axe people who they don't actually need anymore. It sucks but this how jobs work especially under corporations.

The industry is too big for it to ever crash again and as someone else said the economy of the entire world is pretty terrible right now. What's in danger is the typical "AAA" stuff but indies, AA and devs like Peal Abyss and such are going strong.

Can we just appreciate that this bundle even exists. Like who expected any of these games to ever hit modern consoles. Honestly i'm really loving this trend of bringing back older games from the early 2000's and 90's and i'm loving that its not just the usual suspects either. Like we had Fighting Force 1/2 get a collection weeks back who the hell expected that? Its honestly a great time for retro gaming no matter what console you game on.

Yeah as i said localisation changes happens all the time no matter the country. Funny enough the biggest changes happened more in the 4Kids era where anything death or sex was removed, basically all the things the anti-woke brigade hate came from the original version and was changed to suit the needs the fragile right wing conservatives who ran entertainment back then, its why Sailor Moon had a lesbian couple turned into cousins. Funny that isn't it.

@SEVENTEENSOILS Changing things to suit the countries its in is pretty common in translations and localizations and it goes both ways. If anything Asia is more extreme with it. Still name me examples of western versions heavily changing things against the authors intents.

@CielloArc Yeah like remember in the 90's the western dub took Sailor Moon and made two of the team who were lesbians and a couple and made them cousins. Anime is extremely political and "woke" dude and always has been.

Yeah its pretty damn tragic that KC2 will be the last great game for them. They have gone heavy into AI and well that's that. Will say its nice the subreddit what is pretty fanboyish with KC isn't defending or liking these moves from the dev.

You seem really salty dude how about just play the damn game instead of crying that PQ and IGN gave a game a 6/10 and prefer another game that also released this month. There's this thing called "subjective" look it up, learn what it means, remember what it means and then accept not everyone will love the things you like, you will be far happier that way.

Wanna know why Marathon got a ton of coverage here? This is a Playstation site and Marathon is a 1st party game, PQ do it for all 1st party games just like PX do for 1st party MS games and NL do for 1st party Nintendo games

Suck's for everyone and doesn't bode well for next gen. I'm just glad i got my Pro and the Switch 2 when i did.

@Ambassador_Kong CD is sitting at 78% on MC and 82% on Open Critic. Stop fighting this imaginary war right wing grifters told you to fight on YT. CD is a love or hate game that was clear once previews dropped.

@Leeg Yeah it does. Terrible image quality, low settings on everything and if you want real 60fps you have to downgrade the visuals even more. Absolute mess of a console port.

@Silenos I mean are Korean and Chinese games hated by the mainstream reviewers though? Stellar Blade reviewed very well as did Black Myth and everyone of these outlets is happy to hype up Genshin and such. As i said CD has reviewed pretty well, 78% is not a bad score at all.

@Silenos This very site scored Stellar Blade pretty high so and always champions the next Korean and Chinese gacha so....

In fact CD has reviewed pretty decently with a good 78% on MC. Its a love or hate game and some may find the flaws too heavy to score a 9/10 or whatever.

As for Black Myth? Its actually pretty bad to be honest and it looks awful on console. The devs were lucky that their main target audience had never played a "real" game before as it would have bombed otherwise going by western sales.

@ECharles They also recommended the game in their actual review. That video was just focusing on things players don't like it. Jake who reviewed the game really enjoyed it.

@Northern_munkey They mean 1st party ones from Sony.

@Oram77 Different game though. Returnal barely sold on PC. Its why Sony are still keeping live service games on PC as there's more of a market there for that stuff.

@IOI Just reached Chapter 5 and i'm over 30 hours in. Unless you rushed the game i don't see how you could only finish it in 45 hours. I won't complain about the review or score it doesn't impact my enjoyment or thoughts but it does seem they rushed to get a review out quicker.

@Porco They never once sold this as a big RPG, in fact they made it pretty its not an RPG.

Also the base PS5 version isn't broken. Performance mode isn't great but balanced and quality mode hold up well enough.

@Dogbreath Other then framerate dropping when it gets busy the game holds up really well on Pro. Its a perfectly fine way to play it.

The more i'm playing the more i can see this only being challenged by GTA VI as my GOTY. Its not for everyone but if it clicks then it really does clicks

@AhmadSumadi I love MK but Tekken at its worst is still far better then MK at its best. Tekken 8 is on its 3rd year now while MK1 didn't even reach 2 years.

The issue with Marathon is it targeted a niche genre and didn't make itself casual friendly like Arc Raiders has. If they saw the extraction market they would know these games aren't big hitters outside of AR.

@RoomWithaMoose Highguard and its scummy devs doomed itself. It launched to good numbers but because the game was boring as hell everyone dipped. Then game the reveal this "small indie dev" was actually being backed by Tencent.

I don't think there's not much else they need to do now other then bug fixing as the last patch addressed most of my fixes and fixed the worst bugs.

Great to see its doing well as once it gets going its pretty fantastic.
