@RoomWithaMoose Obviously the best Godzilla stuff is less about him and more about the characters and subtext but generally people love Godzilla because people love watching monsters destroy things and fight each other and well Godzilla is the King of Monsters. It goes back to the childhood joy and urge to smash toys together. Its just fun seeing big monster fight other big monster while wrecking a city in the process.

Sonic either loses or its draw as Godzilla is never allowed a true feat. Its why Superman lost in first fight and had a draw on the 2nd fight despite the fact Superman vastly outclasses Godzilla and could one shot a composite Godzilla verse. They just won't allow Godzilla a true defeat.

@Jacko11 To be fair they made it clear last year they weren't showing off more until summer so a SoP trailer was never happening. That said the release date being dropped like this is to clearly distract from Bluepoint.

Good release date and gives it a ton of breathing before the nuke that is GTA VI drops.

@UltimateOtaku91 Its less about wanting and more about knowing. They could change it around like Bungie have with Marathon but as it stands the game doesn't look great and the art style is dreadful ruining the look of the franchise its set in.

Cool but Resident Evil is out Friday along with Pokemon Fire Red so i shell be playing them instead.

An AI bro taking over Xbox really says it all. Sony suck for closing Bluepoint but i will happily choose that over an AI bro taking over PS. Xbox fans should be worrying hard.

The amount of studios both Sony and MS have closed this Gen is insane. Herman needs to go.

I will say this its been rather telling how this got more backlash then the massacres MS has been doing this gen. Sony does bad thing its bad but MS does bad thing its understandable. Also those threatening to quit PS i ask you where will you go next?

@Blaze215 Other then Nintendo they're all chasing that live service gold rush that ended years ago. Yeah the odd one is a success like Arc Raiders but that's an exception not the rule. People are sick of them and the live service audience is too stuck playing the big ones and have no interest in moving to something else. Unless you have a USP like Arc Raiders or Helldivers 2 you're doomed.

Its a good GG have the actual Horizon games to fall back on because otherwise when the crappy looking live service Horizon game bombs they could have shared the same fate.

Hermen just step down you're a failure and your leadership has been worse then Jim Ryan. You bought easily the best remake/remaster Dev out there, forced them to make a crappy GoW live service no one but you and Jimbo wanted, cancelled it because of Concord and then just over a year later closed them. Bluepoint done nothing wrong but sure let them fall on the sword meant for you.

Well F you Sony. Bluepoint were and are a talented studio and you screwed them over with your crappy live service push.

@get2sammyb I find voice actors who don't specialise in voice acting are way more likely to spill the beans. Tony Todd revealed SM2 info when he shouldn't Norman Reedus revealed Death Stranding 2 in an interview haha.

@bindiana What "full potential" do you think that's yet to be tapped? The PS5 started hitting roadblocks years ago and we have seen plenty of games that are impossible for last gen consoles. Also the past 3ish years has been mostly current gen only with the only smaller indies and the odd AAA game like COD that has seen last gen support.

Saying all the right things i just hope there isn't a catch with the game.

Fair play to Bungie they have really turned it around. Not 100% yet if i will jump in as i'm deep into Arc Raiders but i am rooting for the game.

@Boomers-r-us Then use one of the other many weapon types like Switchglaive or Tonfa. Also Nioh is a nearly 10 year old franchise and has sold really well so its hardly jumping on a "bandwagon".

@Northern_munkey To be fair its easy to not notice as Shadows wasn't built with it in mind. In fact manuel jump has been pretty absent since Unity i think maybe Syndicate. Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla never had it and Mirage only got it last year when they dropped the new expansion for it.

@Northern_munkey You can't manual jump as in you can't jump whenever you like you can only jump when the game let's you.

@Northern_munkey Manual Jump is a different type of jump, its a jump that you can do any time with no restrictions.

@belmont I don't care that you personally went PC i'm talking about the majority not a small minority. 94M PS5's have been sold and i bet most of those players have no interest in PC gaming. The Internet and "hardcore" gamers really do love inflating how important they are and PC gamers really do think they matter more then anyone else.

@TrollOfWar Majority of players won't be on PC because the majority of consoles players DON'T WANT to PC game. This is what PC players and now Xbox players don't understand console players choose to console game. Also the new Xbox will no doubt cost so much its going to end losing MS money and pushing even more people over to PS. Seriously anyone whose serious about moving to PC gaming will just get a PC not an overpriced console pretending its a PC from a company on the verse of closing the console side of its gaming business.

@JDINCINERATOR Dude stories in games 20+ years back were rarely good, yes some were good but for the most part they weren't great. I mean you never had anything off the level of Red Dead 2, The Last of Us, God of War 2018, E33, Kingdom Come 2 and so on.

People have this flawed rose tinted view of gaming 20 years ago and had forget all the flaws while ignoring all the highs of today and how far we have come.

End of the day Jaffe is just salty his shallow edgelord was giving actual depth. Even ignoring the Norse games most of what made Kratos good came from other. Its funny how the PSP games done more for Greek era Kratos then the main games ever did.

@wildcat_kickz He spends most of the time spreading hate and sometimes lies online because he's bitter gaming isn't stuck in 2005. This is a guy that called Metroid Dread awful because he sucked at it. He doesn't offer anything of value he just appeals to the "hardcore" sweaty gamer audience that also wished gaming was stuck in 2005. I have no respect for the guy because he offers nothing but hate and anger and enables more like him.
