Following this week's confirmation of Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 ports for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth coming in June, Square Enix has shared the PS5 version will receive a permanent price drop to line up with the new editions.
From 9th February 2026, here are the permanent price drops for every version of the game:
| Version | Old Price | New Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $49.99 | |
| Digital Deluxe Edition | $69.99 | |
| Digital Twin Pack | $79.99 | |
| Digital Twin Pack Deluxe Edition | $99.99 | |
The pricing update sees $20 knocked off all versions of the title, including ones that bundle in Final Fantasy VII Remake with Rebirth. The price drops will go live on Monday, 9th February.
Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 will receive Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on 3rd June 2026, complete with a set of new Boost features, modes, and toggles to make the game easier. As was the case with Final Fantasy VII Remake when it was ported to the two consoles last month, those options should come to PS5 on the same day.
