@Northern_munkey Plus the added power makes them run better so a game that struggles to hit 60fps on PS4 doesn't see a single drop from 60fps on PS5 like say Monster Hunter World.

I mean yeah it is about time you upgraded unless of course you don't want to for whatever reason.

@LikelySatan The game is feature complete. These updates exist because the game sold really well what's allowed them to add more content.

@cuttlefishjones Nah its more a lot gamers like playing with each other. Highguard sucks but it being PvP is not why it sucks.

Played an hour and then dropped it as it was so boring. Already lost 80% of the playerbase its cooked 😂

@guacguacboo Shouldn't do as Ethan's story is over. Grace is a new character and Leon wasn't in the two past games. This seems more a sequel to RE2 then anything else.

I enjoyed the first one but this is very much a wait for sale game for me. Nioh 3 is out soon anyway and i don't want to over indulge on soulslike so Nioh 3 comes first.

Put an hour into it and yeah i deleted it. Its not bad its just boring and very bland.

Looks fantastic and its shot into my most hyped games of 2026.

@Leinad7 More $700 box at the very least. There's no way in hell they price a PC at the levels it would need to be at $500.

I'm guessing Forza 6 is just not ready for PS5 as the focus has been purely on Xbox/PC. I also suspect MS were waiting to see how Forza 5 performed on PS5 first before committing to Forza 6 on PS5. Fable was most likely decided over 2 years back to release on PS5 hence why its releasing on PS5 at the same time.

@dskatter They have been doing this since the start of the gen. Odyssey got a 60fps patch within the first year i think. Origins and Far Cry 5 also got one a few years back. Its been slow and drip fed but Ubi have been pretty consistent with it.

@Nepp67 On a 1080p screen it doesn't look that bad but on a 4K screen the 900p and 30fps really do bring it down. Shame because visually its one of the best looking games in the series. The gorgeous baked in lighting, use of colour and insane crowds really do make it stand out and hold its own even against modern entries.

I've been wondering why its yet to hit PS1 classics and i guess this is why.

Loved it growing up but jesus the game is brutal and unforgiving. Don't think i ever finished it.

Unity is all want at 60fps as well as a bump in res as 900p is too low for a 4K screen.

@Areus Its actually 60fps on Series consoles.

Need that PSSR update now. Its a great console and i'm glad its doing well.

Kinda feel sorry for the Devs for this. That "one last thing" reveal really killed whatever hype it might have gained if they shown it off earlier. I will try it though as its free and i expect at the very least gunplay will be excellent giving the people behind it.

@Northern_munkey Some advice make sure to do the castles as they give you a ton of upgrade points. If you just rely on leveling up to get the points it will make progress very slow.

One of the best games of 2025 and it easily made my top 3. Can't wait to get stuck in with the new content.

@sanderson72 Why would you play on a PS4 Pro when the PS5 you own will play those games better and with a much faster SSD?

@Oram77 Who is still supporting last gen though? All new Sony, MS Studios, Bethesda, Capcom, Konami, Square Enix, Ubi and such games are not on last gen. Look at last year E33, Kingdom Come 2, Ghost of Yotei, AC Shadows, Death Stranding 2, MH Wilds, Arc Raiders, The Outer Worlds 2, Silent Hill F, MGSD, Stalker 2, Battlefield 6, Doom The Dark Ages and many more all current gen only. Even Dying Light The Beast that is promised for last gen has still yet to actually put out those versions with them being MIA.

@Oram77 I mean for the most part we have left last gen behind and have done for 2 or 3 years now. CoD, sports games, smaller scale indies and the odd game here and there are pretty much it. Vast majority and nearly all AAA games have dropped last gen support. Both Sony and MS also dropped last gen years ago as well.

A CV remake is much needed as that game is a vital piece of the RE story and has aged really badly.

But what about AC Unity? Seriously Ubi?

@OldGamer999 RE on the Pro has been a massive success so far so i have high hopes.

@Porco 10% of total sales from a niche $700 console is pretty damn good. Don't think Sony expected unrealistic numbers from it.

She looks fantastic as Lara and she's clearly been putting in the work to look the part. Nice to finally see the OG look as well in live action.

@Exerion76 I guess Avengers Infinity War isn't a sequel then as its not called Avengers 3.

God Of War 2018 is a sequel and both games explicitly reference the Greek games. In fact without the Greek games Kratos arc wouldn't work.

@GamingGod Its going to be heavily CPU bound. Changing the res won't do anything.

@Exerion76 Reboot? The Norse games are sequels not reboots. Also Greek Kratos would never work outside of the games without changing him massively.

@nessisonett Well Kratos isn't black even before the ash was applied to his skin. Its also most likely easier applying the white make up to a white actor as well without it looking odd.

Not who i expected but i'm happy with his casting.
