We're four months removed from the initial release of Digimon Story Time Stranger, but the RPG will finally be getting a 60 frames-per-second performance setting in the relatively near future. Better late than never, we suppose!
You may have caught that a Switch 2 port of Time Stranger was announced earlier today during Nintendo's latest Direct presentation, and in a move that left existing players on PS5 and Xbox Series baffled, Bandai Namco confirmed that the port would feature both a 30fps 'Quality' mode and a 60fps 'Performance' mode.

In case you don't know, Time Stranger launched on the current-gen consoles with no graphical settings whatsoever, capped at a mere 30fps for seemingly no good reason.
Well, those two graphical modes will be making their way to the PS5 version of the game. We don't have a date, but the Switch 2 port is due out on the 10th July. We're hoping that PS5 players won't have to wait that long for the update.
Had you given up hope on 60fps performance in Digimon Story Time Stranger? Just wait a little longer in the comments section below.
