@dskatter A lot of TLoU player must have really struggled with Game of Thrones back in its prime. Fan favourite characters being killed off in anything is nothing new. You would have fallen apart if you ever watched 24 a show where no one was safe except for its main star.

It was always Ellie's story so i had no issue with Joel being killed off especially as his story was over anyway.

Laura Bailey is always a win.

Its a solid 8 for me. Have some big issues with the story late game and the bosses aren't great but overall i really enjoyed it and its more or less what i wanted from a Wolverine game.

@AhmadSumadi If MS was to say starting Jan next year they will no longer produce discs for games they put out including Bethesda and Activision titles people would still blame Sony. @HonestHick 78 on MC last time i checked. Low for a Sony game sure but its still a good score. 4.72/5 on PSN. Have you played it? No then how can you call a 78/100 game not good?

@HonestHick Wolverine is selling pretty well and the player reception from who have actually played it seems to be really positive. Anyway this isn't whataboutism we're talking about MS and Gears not Sony and Wolverine. Asha making E-Day exclusive at the price its cost and the fact its on GP day 1 makes me question how she got this job. E-Day should not be on GP day 1. It would be like Disney putting Avengers Doomsday on D+ the day its released in cinemas.

From my understanding its not that the most sold console out of the two has more its that the difference is bigger then expected by MS.

@ShadowRJ The big exclusive Gears E-Day is meant to cost what 400M-500M to make? Its wild they are making that of all games console exclusive.

I'm convinced Asha is setting up Xbox to be sold off and i'm certain Helix will the last console MS ever makes and i have a feeling Helix won't be what we were led to believe. What this means for PS? Who knows but i would rather be a PS player then a Xbox player right now.

@MrPeanutbutterz Yeah the idea was cool in theory but as i said its very smoke and mirrors and very easy to game. Once you see past the illusion it doesn't hold up.

@Oram77 Because its just ports of the PS4 versions. We already have the games and giving the dev behind the ports the PS4 versions are still better.

@Matroska Other then names and the creatures from it the games don't even feel connected to Middle Earth. It feels like the IP was only used to help sell it.

@KundaliniRising333 They are under Bethesda not Bethesda Studios there's a difference. id Software are under Bethesda and Doom hasn't suffered at all.

@AdamNovice This. Asha has gutted Xbox studios while at the same time has giving Kojima a blank cheque to make his dream game with Hollywood actors even though he hasn't made a massive hit since he was with Konami.

Some good news at least. SoD2 really turned into something special and i'm very excited for SoD3.

Honestly Halo Studios/343 never made a good Halo game so this can't be worse.

But i thought MS was the good guys now and Asha was saving Xbox? MS in my opinion have been far worse then Sony this year and have done far more harm to gaming.

God these games are so overrated. Terrible open world, dull lead, bad story and overall just really bland games held up by the smoke and mirrors nemesis system.

@KundaliniRising333 Yeah its why i love multiple saves going. I also had a quest bug out but thankfully i had save not long before it. Its a great game but not good on a technical front.

Yeah i stuck with Story Mode as i found the early game really hard and while i planned on upping it i decided to stick with it and just focus on the story, writing and world as that's the high points not combat.

Nearing the end now and i love it its easily going to make my top 5 of the year.

Actions speak louder but this is a great start and felt transparent and honest rather then PR speak.

@LifeGirl Brand New Day made over 2B and is what the 3rd or 4th highest grossing film ever. Yeah Sony Pictures having a great year.

Ending was pretty bad but the rest is excellent.

I'm not defending the price i'm telling you why its priced the way it is. A 300M AAA Marvel licenced 1st party game is not going to cost less then $70. Giving the game is selling well its clear from Sony's perspective they made the right call.

Yeah its a one and done game so what? Would you rather it was a live service? Have a forced open world? Back in the days of the PS1/PS2/PS3 these types of one and done games were pretty popular and common.

No one said it was going to be GOTY so don't lie. This year has GTA VI we all know what's getting GOTY whether it deserves it or not.

I've been loving it, around the half way mark now and its been excellent imo and exactly what i wanted from a Wolverine game.
