Surely it will release around the films release time?

BF6 won't impact COD and its foolish expecting otherwise. BF6 will do really well and i myself am really hyped for it and can barely put the beta down but COD is a league of its own with sales.

A DMC game without Itsuno will be a test for Capcom. Wonder if Nero will get a full game or share with Dante again?

@belmont Sony offering trials for recent games isn't a new thing. In fact it was a selling point for the higher tiers of Plus.

@Oram77 I bet more people played it because it was on GP and had MS big marketing push behind it. Its a turn based JRPG inspired game with a heavy french tone and feel, the game really would have been a harder sell without a big marketing push from something like MS.

Clair Obscur was helped by GP due to MS pushing the game hard, without that marketing it may not have been as big. Doom and Indy though clearly suffered being on Gamepass as do most AAA games that go on there.

You can get a lot out of the Mexico setting with this trial, the game jumps you in pretty fast unlike the first game.

@CielloArc Its having the same patten as World and adding Lagi complete with a new gameplay system for him shows that adding Monsters is not an issue.

I think i played enough to know i'm getting it day 1 or at least around launch depending on the technical state. Really enjoyed the beta and its clear they listened to the fanbase.

@cainhurst94 Comparing an apple to an orange. MHW problem is lack of content and shoddy technical state. BF problem has never been lack of content so if it launches in a good state its gold.

@cainhurst94 Giving the very positive reception BF6 is getting i expect it will do well once the full game drops providing of course its in a good technical good state.

@Frmknst 2042 sucked because it was a broken buggy mess, was missing features, had no campaign, was a hero shooter and had lackluster destruction.

Also BF6 is not like COD at all, its faster yes but if play this COD you're going to die fast.

Been having a great time with it and it looks and performs lovely on the Pro as well

@MFTWrecks That said subreddit is never happy, they just want BF4 and BC2 remade and nothing else.

Pretty visuals and a great lead performance but really that's all it offers. I do have it pre-ordered mainly so i can play it again at 60fps on my Pro as i first played it on my SS so the visuals took a hit.

@ItsAlwaysSunnyyy Should have been on PC as well and it should have been bundled in with every new PS5 for free. It could have been so much more then it was.

@Rich33 According to this very site console review codes haven't been sent out just PC.

My main issue is how barren and lifeless planets are and how exploration offers nothing to find. The handcrafted stuff is good but even then its not a patch on Fallout or Elder Scrolls.

Very much wait for reviews game for me. The lack of console reviews is worrying.

Trilogy was my big want so i'm dead happy about this.

For now i expect live service games will go over and maybe older SP games to see if there's interest. Either way Helldivers 2 is the first and it won't be the last so we might as well except it.

If its 60fps and see's a nice visual upgrade i will happily replay it.

Honestly this is good news as it means they have more reason to port more and more to PS5.

@Oprahs_cellulite What "crappy" games have been released on Gamepass and Plus? Also Sony are so into subscriptions they don't do day 1 1st party games on it and only do a day 1 indie once in a blue moon, even Helldivers 2 has yet to touch Plus.

The big issue with Wilds is there's no real end game and barely anything to do once you have your build. I've been playing the new event as it has the new Arch Tempered but once that's done i'm done until the new content update.

@Northern_munkey To be fair Indy was never meant to be on PS5, we know for a fact MS cancelled the PS5 version early on.

End of the day MS is a Publisher now. They have to be with the amount of studios they own even if Gamepass wasn't a thing. The console wars are over and Spencer pretty much admitted they lost so it makes little sense to not release on PS5 now just like Sony has little reason to not support Xbox with games like Helldivers 2.

@nessisonett Yeah its kind of a thing that as far as we know America is the place with human life. We don't really know what the rest of the world is like and that's clearly by design.

So Tencent is salty that Sony turned it down just changed a few things and hoped Sony wouldn't notice?

This is why Sony push the series so hard as its clearly a money maker.

@Dalamar Watch 28 Days Later? The whole opening in the hospital with Jim is beat for beat copied in The Walking Dead with Rick. Being inspired by and ripping off are two different things.

@LordOfTurnips Play ARK or Palworld its basically what the rip off was doing gameplay wise.

The fact both those images at top could be the same game is why Sony is honestly rightfully suing.

@PuppetMaster Amazon are more hit then miss. Invincible, The Boys, Fallout, Batman The Caped Crusade and Reacher are all great adaptions.

Look fact is most creative in film/TV aren't video game players. Most don't have the time for them and most weren't part of a generation where VG were popular.

@Bsb56 Only TLOTR got that kinda budget and even then its massively scaled back compared to the films and books. GoW won't be getting that kind of budget.

@PuppetMaster Fun fact the person who made Andor doesn't like Star Wars. Fun fact Nolan had never read a Batman comic before doing Batman Begins. You're going to find most big creative's aren't video game players its just how it is. Finally did you watch Fallout? That was Amazon made and it was fantastic.
