Can't wait for both. The remake looks excellent and Lara looks stunning as hell. Its been too long but the Queen is finally back.

It was good but other then Tomb Raider, RE9 and the two Star Wars games i was pretty underwhelmed by most of it. The fact they ended on a F2P hero shooter as the big reveal is hilarious.

Nice seeing E33 win everything and Evanescence were amazing with Amy sounding incredible as always.

E33 deserved all of its awards but it did get boring knowing it was going to win any award it was nominated for. Glad Jennifer English won through as she was incredible in the game, she looked stunning on stage and her speech was lovely.

@nessisonett Madonna was in Die Another Day as well, terrible in it but her song for it is excellent.

@StitchJones Confused about what? The last remake of the first Tomb Raider was Tomb Raider Anniversary a game made for the PS2 in mind. Your comment was complaining they made PS2 level visuals for a PS2 game. Clearly if they remake the game again its going to have PS5 visuals because its made for the PS5 in mind.

@ButterySmooth30FPS The PS2 version is also a heavily gimped version of the PC version that changed and cut a ton of content to fit the PS2. This remaster was welcome in theory as it would give console players the much much better PC version for the first time.

Lol. Honestly just give us the PC version at 4K/60fps and call it a day as many will just be happy with that. Better yet pass the project over to Nightdive and let them do it.

@wildcat_kickz Yeah Legend and Anniversary on PS2 hold up very well. They were easily some of the best looking titles on PS2.

@StitchJones I mean Anniversary was a PS2 game and looked amazing for a PS2 game so why would it have had graphics that wouldn't exist for another 20 years?

@StitchJones What do you mean again? The last remake of TR1 was Anniversary what used the Legend engine and had top of the range PS2 graphics.

@Chip-Douglas The Fallout question was asked last season. She tried it for research but found it hard.

Considering prior to Fallout she didn't play video games i'm not shocked she's more into something more relaxing.

@Dalamar Yeah the writing was bad but the gameplay, visuals and action were all fantastic. Tomb Raider has never had good writing anyway. Even the Legend Trilogy what i adore is basically family melodrama and each entry retconning the previous entry.

@MrPeanutbutterz Yeah Tekken 1 was ass. There's a reason no one will ever go back to it but happily do Tekken 2.

@LifeGirl Where did you pull the T1 reviews from? Tekken 4 might have done well with critics but the playerbase found it a massive downgrade from T3.

Also if we're doing reviews and awards well T8 is 90% on MC and multiple best fighting game awards.

@MrPeanutbutterz No it wasn't. Tekken 2 made the series not T1 a game that was always considered pretty ass.

@Andee The tech for the new PSSR didn't exist a year ago. These things improve and get updated over time its how they work.

@Flaming_Kaiser As i said the original Stalker games that released during this "perfect era" were broken as hell, even now they're still janky. Again learn the term euro jank. Also stop pretending that video game are easy to make and don't have a million different issues that need fixing prior to release.

@Reeneman They listed it as a known issue in the patch notes so its not fixed yet but it will be in a future update. To be honest i've been playing with PSSR on all afternoon and while there is flicker the picture is much better.

@get2sammyb The "free" content has hardly been that great in my opinion. They charge stupid amounts for credits, make the game pretty grindy to sell credits and now expect $30 for content that should have been giving out free. I know i'm being negative but i haven't liked how they handled the post release support.

Imagine waiting a year for a freaking photo mode 🙄

Stalker 2 for me.

Its a free upgrade i'm not complaining.

In my top 5 of the year, utterly addictive and insanely fun. Even got the Platinum i loved it so much.

@StitchJones Dude chill out geez. Performance and res updates have also been a thing for like 20 years now as well, sure actual modes are a new thing (well for consoles anyway) but performance improvement updates are hardly a new thing.

@Rich33 As i said in one of my comments there's a good chance 120hz support wasn't ready for launch. End of the day though it launched with NG+ so you can always do that run with 120hz enabled. NG+ adds a ton of new content, some new trophies and with all the late game stuff available from the off it makes the early and mid game feel very different.
