The cast for the upcoming God of War TV series is starting to properly take shape now, as Amazon has shared who will be playing another two roles, this time for Thor and Odin.
Ólafur Darri Ólafsson plays Thor while Mandy Patinkin takes the role of Odin.
The former is known for roles in Severance and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty while the latter stars in The Princess Bride and Homeland.
They add to a growing cast list, which now looks like this:
- Kratos — Ryan Hurst
- Sif — Teresa Palmer
- Heimdall — Max Parker
- Thor — Ólafur Darri Ólafsson
- Odin — Mandy Patinkin
The story setup for the TV series, which follows the events of the two most recent God of War titles, is as follows:
Father and son Kratos and Atreus embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human.
