Persona 5 Royal:
Having played the base game twice for well over 200 hours I was apprehensive about starting Royal and retreating familiar ground but there's plenty new included (locations & character interactions) to make it worth while. Just beat the third Palace after just short of 40 hours of game time and im having an absolute blast again. Getting all the social stats again is a pain but I'm making decent progress.

Sonic Mania:
Thought I'd have another run through with the 16 Bit Collection announced a few weeks ago. I find it crazy that were almost 4 years on from this releasing and we've not seen a sequel to it yet.
Really hoping the re-release of the Mega Drive games have an encore mode like the DLC for this.

Guardians Of The Galaxy, I was worried that it would be a reskinned Avengers so I'm happy with the reveal.

@JustPlainLoco it's easy saying that but you don't know how big each Studio is, they might not have the capacity for multiple games at once

It's all well and good saying they don't want an acquisition war but if Microsoft want to stump up the cash for someone they will. With Bethesda all I'll miss is DOOM personally, I know its a lit more for some people, but if they were to go out and buy a Sega or Konami and lock away game franchises that I've been playing since the 90s I'd be gutted (works both ways I don't want Spny buying up any of the 'biggies' either).

Possibly my favourite reveal from E3 this year based on the fact I thought it was gonna be Avengers reskinned on colourful planets, from the gameplay that's been show it looks to have 100 times more depth that Cap & Co have.

I'm really looking forward to AH, looks like it might scratch that Bioshock itch in the same way Shadow Warrior 3 will be a (hopefully 🤞🏻) be a decent substitute for DOOM

That Death Stranding/MGS tease got me super hyped & mega disappointed

hoping that there's a sequel announce soon, apart from Dead Space it's the only thing EA I'd I'd interested in

@Jaz007 and your missing my point, the fact I played so many year in year out burned me out on it the change in direction has made me interested in the series again. I know its not like the older games I've played it.

@Jaz007 it still has some of the modern day nonsense buy its way toned down, I had AC fatigue because I played them every year from the original to Black Flag, Origins and Vahalla don't do a lot for me but its good to know the way they are now if the location appeals I'll be there for it

@Shepherd_Tallon Odyssey is a blast, I had really bad AC fatigue and after a break from the series Odyssey was the perfect reintroduction

@The_New_Butler been under the spot light more cos of covid as well, most industries will have a kind of crunch, we have it in building I've had months when I've worked 70 hour weeks because you give a finish date and you have to hit it

@CKFilms I saw that was part of the Capcom leaks would be good seeing Rebecca playable again

Crunch is awful but what irritates me is how its only ever mentioned in the gaming industry

it's a bundle I'd go for but there's no chance of finding one in the wild and I'm not prepared to plan my day around stock drops

@CKFilms I'm kind of hoping that the next Revelations game (if it ever comes along) continues from the teaser at the end of RE3

New Onimusha running on the RE engine 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 looking at how well received Ghost Of Tsushima & Sekiro were I'm really hopeful it'll return soon.

I genuinely couldn't think of anything worse than a Tiny Tina game, I always found her really annoying.

Sonic Mania 2

Having played Avengers (I know its not the same Studio but it's still SE) I'm fearing the worst for GotG

I personally think if they could get the machines out better than they are doing we wouldn't be seeing so many cross gen games, maybe Spidey Miles and Sackboy but the rest would be next gen only.

I've been on the fence about picking one up again recently, have a real urge to play Dead Space 1 & 2.

This was one of those I never really thought we'd see Released good to know its gonna be at E3

Day one for me being able to Replay Sonic 3 & Knuckles without having to dig out the Mega Drive is more than enough reason to buy it.

I really liked it on Wii so there's a good chance I'll play it again, the Origins Collection was the best shown for me will be great playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles again without having to dig out my Mega Drive and Cartridges.

I just wanna see Mania 2 announced, crazy that it's almost 4 years since that landed and after the Encore DLC there's been nothing.

Hopefully we get a firm release date to go with the footage, one of the few games I've got my eye on right now.

@Flaming_Kaiser so many of the studios under the WB umbrella already work on the IP they own (DC, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings) I don't remember the last game they released that wasn't an existing franchise

@AdamNovice they do but after the Bethesda deal everytime a studio is up for grabs they'll be the leader

@WCB there's still time. The whole gaming side was put up at $4bn a while back but it was insane pricing if you ask me.

Netherealm would be the pick of the bunch for anyone looking to buy imo just be a question of weather they keep hold of the Mortal Kombat IP

@art_of_the_kill it wouldn't bother me at all, I don't own a PC and I'm never going if it gets the games in more hands and gets us sequels to game I'm like its not a problem for me.

it would be pretty great to get Persona 6 at the same time as Japan, would also be great if the PC port of Persona 4 Golden was slapped on console as well

@Amusei to be fair Microsofts whole gaming divison revolves around Gamepass its plastered everywhere, PS Now get little to no advertising in comparison. Gamepass should be doing better.

@Link41x find that to be mad myself, but as long as people are part of the gamepass system and keep paying they won't care

@Rob_230 yeah those numbers are a surprise given the popularity of handheld gaming in Japan you thought it would have bossed it over there. I'm still hopeful the Persona 4 Golden re-release will come to PS4/PS5 eventually.

@Rob_230 would have to imagine Switch has the lions share in Japan with them loving some handheld action.
