With its feudal Japanese setting and emphasis on sword-based combat, upcoming indie title Trek to Yomi is giving us serious Ghost of Tsushima vibes. This is a side-scrolling action game, and it definitely shows promise in the above trailer.
It's slashing its way to PlayStation 5 at some point in 2022, but are you ready to spill some blood? Strike fast in the comments section below.

Looks fantastic, definitely up for this.
Wow!... that looks amazing.
Hopefully we are done with the trend that side scrolling action games needs to look like it was made in 1984.
My first thought was that it's a ghost of tshushima mock up. The overall show was pretty good.
Every now and then, an indie game comes along and you find yourself saying "wait, this is an indie game?" Looks fantastic!
This has 'day one' written all over it. At my age you don’t wish your life away, but 2022 can’t come soon enough. Saying that, next year, I’ll probably be saying the same thing about 2023*.
*Man, those year numbers sound futuristic!
Im playing 👻 ghost of tshushima now its amazing and this game looks amazing also.word up son
Looks absolutely stunning!
hot damn, that looks great!!
This looks dope, I'm interested in this game
Wizard With a Gun looked more interesting to me. -shrugs-
It looks good, but why next-gen exclusive? Surely a 2D game like this can't be THAT demanding to run.
Oh hell yeah, that's a winner right there.
I like pleasant surprises. Nice little game in a sea of big ones.
Oops. It's slashing it's way in 2020? I must have missed it last year!
Wow this looks extremely cool! I like that they just went all in on Kurosowa mode. Some of the character models look like real motion captured people kind of like how Hellblade did it. Definitely on my must buy list for when I get a PS5.
@ShogunRok you have a typo in the text. It says 2020
@Blacksmith1985 Good spot, thanks!
@Ralizah
It is not next gen exclusive. Coming to PS4/XBOX1 also.
