While i dont think Window Central is the best source I wouldn't be surprised if Sony did scale back everything except the multiplayer/live service stuff

@dodgykebaab or i could just buy it (like i have) and play it on my PlayStation. Im not bothered about it having trophies or emulating games.

@dodgykebaab I dont want to play it on my phone, I want to play it on my TV. Its not a deal breaker for me if a game has trophies or not if that was the case I would play anything Nintendo make.

@dodgykebaab my guess for most people wanting to play it now would be ease. Thats why ive bought and downloaded it i dont want to have to go in my loft dig out my PS1 and my copy then have the time setting it up when i can download it and be playing it in 5 minutes.

@dodgykebaab to have fun just playing the game? Tekken 3 is an awesome scrapper.

I have no issue with Tekken 3 (& 2 for that matter) no having trinkets, it would be cool to have them in there but I'll still enjoy unlocking all the characters like I did with Tekken 2. Hopefully the first game and Tag Tournament are added soon.

I've just tipped into my 15th hour and ive just got out if the opening area, im having a blast with it.

Is it really that much of a deal breaker for people to go and play these? Im more than happy that there available to play on PS5 with or without trophies, wish Sony would pull there finger out and get Um Jammer Lammy on there.

@Shadcai I was wondering that and if it'll have any quality of life improvements or if its just a straight up port.

Looking back at the original PlayStation days when Tekken and Ridge Racer were only on PS1 I found it strange that Sony never tried (& they may have but I've never seen anything about it) to swoop for Namco before they merged with Bandai, same with Squaresoft before they joined up with Enix.

Downloaded Witcher 3 again and I'm playing through Fallout 4 DLCs finished the quest for Far Harbour and I've just got to Nuka World. Don't really wanna start anything new with Death Stranding 2 so close.

Into chapter 20 of DOOM TDA so hopefully have that finished this weekend, also chipping away at Balatro got my last planet cards, 100m hand and a couple more jokers unlocked only 4 from having the full set of those now.

Ah (not) E3 week, the best time of year. The rumours of RE9 have ramped up a bit over the last couple of weeks would be great to see that, Wolverine would be great as well. I always ask for it so I'm not stopping now - Dark Cloud 3 would be an absolute dream.

Should the amount of things Sony is letting Bandai Namco make at the moment be looked at as something more or am I over thinking it?

Yep, got my copy early (slight bonus of getting a physical copy) and played the first chapter last night, really loved the opening guns feel good to shoot, movement was great and the shield is fun to use. Loling forward to jumping in when everyone else is in bed.

Really odd seeing old first party games leave Plus. Full of hopium on this but if the two Resistance games leaving means we're getting a remaster trilogy id be pretty happy.

I was excited until I got to the SF6 battle pass, would be amazing if they were added to the classics catalogue

@Toot1st ah yeah I've just reread it, missed it first time. It being taken away from third party sellers is easily combatted by getting psn credit from a third party (like shopto or cdkeys) for less than the price stated.

How is this a Sony problem? if you got and look on the Xbox store the games are priced the same.

@PuppetMaster according to the people on twitter it's the worst thing Sony did last year which is rich with Concord existing (then not existing 2 weeks later).

@Shad361 a game being held up as game of the year shouldn't make solid sales a flop. If anything Sonic should be the one doing big numbers given the characters decades old popularity, it being on multiple platforms and having the boost of the third film to bolster sales. I'm glad it's got to 2mil as I liked the base game of Generations when it released back in 2011.

@ButterySmooth30FPS yeah I was wondering how SXS is a success at 2 mil on every platform but Astro "massively underperformed" on a single machine.

@themightyant Bluepoint might not have wanted to keep doing remakes but to have them waste years on a LSG that's been canned probably wasn't the plan either. There's articles on this site (referencing Bloomberg) that Sony rejected the DG2 pitch.

Either way they've wasted years on games that won't see the light of day when they could have had something to show if they'd just been left to single player content, hopefully Sony realise what made them the place to play and get these teams working on something that'll release but that could very well be 5 years away now.

Sony are a complete s**t show at the moment. Should have left Bluepoint on the remaster train doing more PS1/PS2 games or hand them a legacy IP make a new entry & Bend should have had Days Gone 2 green lit given the sales success of the first game, see what improvements that put on a very good first attempt.

Finished it this morning, amazing stuff yet again, some of the bots had me grinning like an idiot.

Made me weirdly emotional watching that, shocking how fast time flys by. Got my PlayStation for my 12th birthday in 1996 and nothing has quite felt like a gaming home since.

Was gonna pick this up but I think £8 is a bit steep for a couple of outfits.

Why when Hayley Atwell exists and is already playing Lara in the animated show.

@KoopaTheGamer same trophies don't rule weather or not I buy a game, just make it available for God's sake.

@Lavishturtle considering Sony's own classic games are all available to buy on PS5 and the only other Capcom classic on PSN (I believe) in RE Directors Cut is also locked behind a paywall this seems like more of a Capcom thing to me.

@Buck51 same not a chance of me getting premium right now, not worth the money for me personally.

@VeldinX you'd think they'd want it to sell to see if there's interest, I know it wouldn't be a million seller but there's very few games more requested from them for a re-release or remaster

Dino Crisis isn't available to buy just as part of Premium, what a let down hopefully it changes later in the day.

Definitely buying Dino Crisis if it's available that way RE Directors Cut is still locked behind PS+ Premium.

@UltimateOtaku91 ive gone back to previous saves and back into the previous chapter. The issue seems to be that Thrash has just disappeared and he has the dialogue with the starfish (I had a quick look on YouTube to see if I was doing anything wrong) might have to replay chapter 6 from the start again if that doesn't fix it I'm gonna bin it off, which is a shame as I'm really enjoying it but I don't want to have to replay from the start and lose 4 hours.

@UltimateOtaku91 I'm having an issue in The Plucky Squire at the start of chapter 7 beat 2 enemies near a couple of starfish and Jot just stands there. All I can do is throw my sword. It's crashed 3 times as well.

@Bamila like I said I had no issues with AW2 even got lucky with some apparently glitched trophies. If your up for the Pro go for it my dude it's just something I don't need.

@Bamila Alan Wake 2 looked great and ran brilliantly for me personally don't need to spend another £700 to enjoy it.

No. I don't think we've seen the base PS5 pushed so I have no need for a Pro console.
