RE Requiem, with nods for Slots & Daggers and Saros.

After seeing FF7 Revelation revealed at SGF I had a hankering for some of it so I went back to FF7 Remake today and finished off a run through on hard and mopped up my missing trophies for the Platinum (number 118). Even on a third play through (one on PS4, two on PS5) it's still an incredible game, only irritation was having to replay chapters chapters again for the 9 dresses gong.

Also picked up Bond on Friday so that ready to start next, quite looking forward to it not really a Bond guy but this looks like it'll scratch that Uncharted itch.

I don't mind Jade but it just seems like he hates anything God Of War now because he isn't making it

Gonna get to it eventually, not massive fan of Bond but its looked good in the trailers/gameplay I've seen.

@AdamNovice hopefully we get a Twisted Metal level in Astro 2

Wouldn't mind seeing Astro 2 revealed next week, don't think it's outside the realms of possibility

Hoping we get an Onimusha release date at one of the shows over the next few weeks, genuinely can't wait for it I never thought it would come back. Love Dino Crisis Remake to be real as well.

Saros:
Still chipping away at a few of the trophies after I finished the game, beat the last boss again and went the wrong way for the "true" ending have to beat him again now 😂.

Slots & Daggers:
We've got another one to add to the Balatro, Vampire Survivors pile of games that look simple but are great. Slot machine based RPG works way better than it should.

Thanks for the heads on that Sammy, it would be cool if that was integrated into PSN. First plat was Arkham Asylum on PS3, first PS4 plat was Infamous Second Son and PS5 was R&C Rift Apart. 480 games since popping my first trinket in Super Stardust, 7600 hours.

@Dan12836666 exactly the same, well I was in anyway love Bats and his Lego outings have been class, but hearing KFAR on the ad made me want it more 😀

I'd buy it today if it was shadow dropped, loved the first game but never played inFamous 2 or Festival Of Blood they just got lost in the mix.

Saros:

Still playing it after finishing the story for the first time during the week, such an enjoyable game to play movement & shooting.

Fallout Shelter:

Don't know why but I went back to it and popped the legendary outfit & weapons trophies now I just need the raider attacks for the platinum just taking its time for them to attack.

Dark Cloud 3, I'll never give up on it.

Saros:
Beat the fifth boss this morning, steadily chipping away at it. Really enjoying it.

Fallout Shelter:
I've gone back to it to chip away at the last few trophies. Got the legendary outfits one earlier in the week so just need a few more weapons and some more raider attacks for the Plat.

Been pretty tempted by Wax Heads as well, released earlier in the week and it looks like Coffee Talk crossed with High Fidelity, could be great.

You know what the 2 day early access might just get me, when I eventually got to Returnal I had an amazing time playing it (ending up with the platinum) and this looks like a better version of it.

@Boxmonkey you can still get one at Argos for £630, seeing it at a reduced price before they bump the price is pretty wild.

Played the demo on Xbox and for me it's well worth a tenner

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for less than a fiver is great as well.

Scott Pilgrim EX has really crept up on me, definitely one to check out when I've finished Requiem.

Oblivion Remastered:
Got the platinum this morning (#106) and started the Shivering Isles. It's still a lot of fun to play but it's kinda shocking that it's still this buggy and broken 20 years later.

Returnal:
Finished a run of Ascension, beating the final boss, need a couple of collectables now to see the true ending of that hopefully it's not as much of a pain as the main games were.

Other than that I'm not really sure where to go I have DOOM 1+2 to start and I picked up Kingdom Hearts 3 for £6 but I'm not sure I wanna go in for something so long with RE Requiem just over the hill. GOW Sons of Sparta is also pretty tempting.

I bought the Royal Edition a few years ago for £3.50 and never started it might give it a bash on PS5 instead

Awesome, I love PNATI2 so for less than a tenner it's a no brainer

Returnal:
Finished act 3 this morning and now I'm searching out the last 2 glyths I need in biome 2 for the platinum.

Oblivion:
Played another hour after Returnal and I got a visit from the Dark Brotherhood so I'm looking forward to starting that questline.

Very tempted to redownload FF7 Remake for PS5 and see how the baby modes break it as well.

Finished act 2 of Returnal an hour or so ago technically finishing the game but I'm gonna go into act 3 because I find it so satisfying to play. Started Oblivion remastered and I've spent a couple of hours wandering around not doing much.

Where is Um Jammer Lammy?? That would probably be one of my most requested classics alongside the Wipeout games and Tekken 1.

@Jammer I'd say half the stuff they put in Fortnite isn't for kids to be fair

Missed a trick not having Randy (Stan's dad) as a skin, he's probably the best character in the show now (or at least run's Cartman close)

While i dont think Window Central is the best source I wouldn't be surprised if Sony did scale back everything except the multiplayer/live service stuff

@dodgykebaab or i could just buy it (like i have) and play it on my PlayStation. Im not bothered about it having trophies or emulating games.

@dodgykebaab I dont want to play it on my phone, I want to play it on my TV. Its not a deal breaker for me if a game has trophies or not if that was the case I would play anything Nintendo make.

@dodgykebaab my guess for most people wanting to play it now would be ease. Thats why ive bought and downloaded it i dont want to have to go in my loft dig out my PS1 and my copy then have the time setting it up when i can download it and be playing it in 5 minutes.

I have no issue with Tekken 3 (& 2 for that matter) no having trinkets, it would be cool to have them in there but I'll still enjoy unlocking all the characters like I did with Tekken 2. Hopefully the first game and Tag Tournament are added soon.

I've just tipped into my 15th hour and ive just got out if the opening area, im having a blast with it.

As a Liverpool supporter I think hes doing a brilliant job and should be given a new contract.

Is it really that much of a deal breaker for people to go and play these? Im more than happy that there available to play on PS5 with or without trophies, wish Sony would pull there finger out and get Um Jammer Lammy on there.

@Shadcai I was wondering that and if it'll have any quality of life improvements or if its just a straight up port.

Looking back at the original PlayStation days when Tekken and Ridge Racer were only on PS1 I found it strange that Sony never tried (& they may have but I've never seen anything about it) to swoop for Namco before they merged with Bandai, same with Squaresoft before they joined up with Enix.

Downloaded Witcher 3 again and I'm playing through Fallout 4 DLCs finished the quest for Far Harbour and I've just got to Nuka World. Don't really wanna start anything new with Death Stranding 2 so close.

Into chapter 20 of DOOM TDA so hopefully have that finished this weekend, also chipping away at Balatro got my last planet cards, 100m hand and a couple more jokers unlocked only 4 from having the full set of those now.

@Brundleflies21 that's all the Xbox show is going to be isnt it an hour of mutliplatform games & timed exclusives.

Ah (not) E3 week, the best time of year. The rumours of RE9 have ramped up a bit over the last couple of weeks would be great to see that, Wolverine would be great as well. I always ask for it so I'm not stopping now - Dark Cloud 3 would be an absolute dream.

Should the amount of things Sony is letting Bandai Namco make at the moment be looked at as something more or am I over thinking it?
